Geeking - Geek Chat & Roleplay

Honestly, I like the app. However, I've noticed an issue other than the loading issues and the UI. On my account, I am unable to see any images. Everything just comes up as blank. Also, I am unable to change my profile picture or my background picture. If you would fix that, I would rate you 5 stars, because other than that, I really like this app.

The app does what it promises. However what's keeping this app from being a solid 4 for me is that it's slow. Too slow. Opening the app takes a full minute sometimes. Connecting to chatroom takes a while, connecting and sending takes a bit. It doesn't send messages sometimes. Even under wifi the loading times for these rooms and messages is too long. Hopefully an update fixes this, but for now it's a decent app. People on it are nice and the interface is colorful and easy to use. Dece app.

It use to be great. Many other roleplayers with great ideas. But not it'a full of horny kids, and way too many glitches. It takes forever to load ANYTHING - which it never did before so it's not like it's something you can't fix - and rarely send notifications. Overall, it's not a good app anymore and any 'fixes' that have happen, don't help.

It keeps kicking me out and not letting me sign back in. Things don't want to load right or at all. It doesn't stop glitching and this isn't happening to just me. When it does work though I love it and I'm obsessed. It's a great way to make friends and find roleplay partners or just have a normal chat. Just hate the glitches. Omg fix the glitches! It's kicked all my friends out the app as well and keeps saying that it's having server issues it's highly annoying!

This app is okay. At times, when the active user count is high, it is nearly impossible to use. With these intrusive ads, you should be able to afford better servers. Especially since I can't pay to make the ads disappear. The UI is very clunky, in combination with the loading times, it just becomes a mess.

This is the only app I've ever used that takes 10+ minutes just to load or refresh anything (no, I'm not even exaggerating). The UI is a bit confusing (especially other people's profiles) but if the first issue were to be fixed it would be a great app for finding like-minded fans of an anime.

This app has lost of people and its grate to chat with them but I have a problem. When I change my profile, name or anything else it doesn't show to other people, just me. I tend to switch between OC's a lot and it doesn't show to most people and that annoys me, and I think there should be a lower limmet on the amount of people on one chat, its hard to talk when 10+ people are active at the same time, over all its still a good app, just needs a few touch ups.

This app is fun and all, but it has some serious issues. For one, the load times. Often I'll have to force stop the app MULTIPLE times before it let's me in. Just now, it won't even let me log in, and I was talking to someone. Nothing I've tried has worked to let me log back in, so I'm hoping uninstalling and reinstalling will work. If not, well, that is a big issue and it needs fixing.

I love this app a lot. I have been using it for over a year. But recently it keeps crashing on me. Like I'll open it and it will just keep telling me, "Unfortunately, Geeking has stoped." I'll close the app and go to open it again and it will tell me "Geeking keeps crashing". I have to keep deleting and reinstalling the app and it is getting annoying.

I love role playing on geeking, but sometimes not just for me, it will not load and it gets a little annoying when I can't continue an roleplay with my online friends. I would suggest fixing the problem. But then again, I for one have tried coding and know how hard it is so I don't hate you programers for the problem, I'm just saying if you want to keep people from deleting the app And leaving bad reviews, try to fix the problem

It's barely working. Usually the app works great, but it keeps telling me there are server errors and that when I tried to reinstall it and log in it kept saying "sorry try again" even tho I'm putting in the right thing. I can't even talk to the people In private message because it won't load when I get logged in. It's so frustrating. Fix your app!!! How long has this app been on the store and yet its still having these stupid problems.

I'm highly annoyed. I'm on android and everytime I send an image (no message next to it) it always sends "image attachment" and it never did that to me before. I know a lot of users can send images without the annoying message. Is just an android thing? I hate it. But overall it's a great app when it's not taking forever to load my chats. :)

The loading takes a long time. And the it blames it on the network even though I got full bars. Also it seem that I can't turn off the app because once it off it won't let me back in saying something is wrong with the app itself but it still sending me notifications of people chatting.

First of all, it like this app. It's a great idea and pretty much the only site for roleplayers. It's easy to find matching interests with others and chat. I like that it's not completely roleplay, as some people like to occasionally roleplay but mostly chat. I'd recommend this app, as most people on there are super helpful. Some, yes, may do drp and harass you sometimes. However, you can avoid all of that and have fun. One major flaw is the fact that it's quite a slow app. Although, anyone who uses it complains about it. Sometimes messages and bios get lost. Deleted. Some messages get sent twice. But overall, it's the best roleplay app I've used yet.

This app is so so slow. And it seems like the people behind the app are doing nothing to fix it. I don't know why there isn't a Geeking website, because it would probably take some of the load off the servers. It's kicked me out, takes forever to load and send messages, forced me to log back in but I can't so now I have to wait until tomorrow and hope it works. I'm really tempted to just get rid of this app for a while until you guys do something about this. It's really irritating how you release an app that doesn't seem at all capable doing what it's designed to do.

Ok, there is some MAJOR issues with the app. From everything to staying on the chat when you exit the app, to the fact of whether it will load, or your conversations will dissapear or not. Like seriously, its good when it comes down to the people you meet, BUT, the app itself and its functioning has a LOT of MAJOR issues that NEED to fixed. ASAP.

Laggy, buggy, clunky, unreliable. Server issues on and off the past few days. Useless search tab for users, recommended tab is just randoms, no algorithm or anything to determine them. Probably more stuff I'm forgetting, but this app just physically tires me out to use it.

I love geeking, I really do. But one main thing that has been really annoying me for the longest time is I keep getting logged out and not able to log back in. I don't know if this is an issue with the servers or what, but it NEEDS TO BE FIXED. I would love to know what you devs are doing to try fix this. Other than this main issue Geeking is a great app and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to roleplay.

Too much NSFW content has me confused on if it's indeed the roleplay/chat app i wanted or tinder The cencorship in the feed is weird, it cencors some words but not others The lag is unbelievably bad, it's annoying that I have to wait like 15 seconds for something to send and sometimes it doesn't even send it can also take so long to load things it makes me close the app Ads when closing group chats are bad, mainly because they don't occur during dms, either have them on both or not at all Deleting DMS after a month is very annoying

The idea of the app is great. But there is always server issues, or some sort of issue loading it. And the notifications are busted. If they just fix all the bs this could be a good app.

I happen to quite enjoy using this app. There may be problems within the next community but that's expected. My main gripes are with problems with the apps. Lots of people have already said it but my main problems are being logged out while the app is closed and chats having problems loading. However I'm sure the devs are working on many of these and I'm sure it's difficult. (I don't know the size of the team but I'm sure it's hard to keep up with a lot of the stuff that happens, especially when it comes to responding not only to Google play reviews but to emails as well. Keep working as hard as you on this app and it'll be amazing.

Absolutely terrible. I would reccomend to now Install it whatsoever, been here trying to make an account for 20 minutes, error message that doesn't mean anything. Reset my phone. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Used diffefent emails, usernames it doesn't work.

It crashes almost everyday and it takes forever to load up or says my connection is bad when it isn't. I'm highly annoyed with this. I either had to restart my phone 3-6 times or Uninstall and Redownload for it to work correctly again. Please fix.

I remember this happened before where the app shut down and didn't let anyone sign in. It took a whole day so people would be able to join back on online and text with others. I suggest that you don't try to change your password, I did that once and lost my account.

it is amazing to chat with all kinds of people and all over the world. it's a pain in the you know what when you trying to get on the darn thing and everytime you try to get logged In on it it pops up with a message like: sorry. we're experiencing server issues. we'd love to see you later ". I've been a member for a little over then a year and I say that there are WWWWWAAAYYYYY to many people on this app for it to be free. I think that if you make people pay for it when they first find the app, they pay less then a dollar to get an account, then don't have to experience server lags, not being able to log in, etc.

The server issues happen way too frequently on this app. Sometimes it's not useable for hours. Dev team doesn't seem to care too much about investing in better servers or more capacity, or whatever the issue might be.
