Does not even show total purchase amount. You'd think that would be one of the main features of an investment app. I'll change my rating if they fix it. But so far you have to total everything by hand still... that's super time consuming. They probably do this because they do not want you to see the huge amount they charge you for each transaction, is my guess. And everything is extremely slow, which is extremely annoying when you want to actually trade.

Absolute garbage. Cannot add bank account via the app via Plaid as even when it says it's successful it then changes it's mind. Adding account manually doesn't work as even once it's verified it doesn't appear as an option to withdraw too. Had to log in to the website to do anything so what's the point of this app. Information provided about your portfolio is useless as well beyond simply telling you what it's currently worth. A painful experience from start to finish.

great! saving account. I don't get exactly why the rewards for using the card are so low when the earnings rewards are so high. I mean... Its adequate for a credit card, but I see this more as a savings account and business credit card rather than for my every day purchases. I will say the credit card is excellently crafted. and I look forward to actually earning some interest. the app itself is pretty good and aesthetically pleasing. I am enjoying gemini!

Terrible experience, Gemini have been wicked to me. I've owned a gemini account for years and never got verified. After submitting my verification docs repeatedly, i got blocked. Now i opened a new account and submitted my docs, still didn't get verified, i reached out to support to complain about the issue, they sent me a mail saying they're working on it, but then my new account got blocked again without even offering explanation as to why I'm blocked. I'm verified on various other exchanges.

I was excited about how good their interface looked, user friendly and apparently seamless, UNTIL you try to attach your payment information through Plaid and it confirms your banking info without actually saving those methods of payment to your account. They say they're available in Canada, but it looks like they only accept GBP & EUR as Fiat , no other fiat is accepted. Very dissapointing. This App could be one of the better ones out there, but it sucks for Canadians.

Horrible customer support. They locked my account for no real reason. Still trying to get access back after filing all the proofs of identity. Support is useless at best - replies with 3-5 day delays. Don't even try to get a response on the weekend. As soon as I get my access back I will relocate funds and will close account .

Well working app. My only complaint, is that I don't want to see my deposits show up as positive returns in my portfolio. I would prefer to see only the returns from interest and price movements included in the reflected price changes. Highly recommended regardless

Newer phone lost feature? So the Samsung Note 10+ can use fingerprint to unlock the app, but the new Samsung S22 Ultra can only use a pin or facial recognition??? WTH? Another thing that needs to be fixed, the chart that tracks your portfolio makes it look like deposits count as growth???? Dumb. Otherwise an OK app for crypto. Fortunately, Gemini is ahead of the game when it comes to security and compliance, so I'll give them that.

Platform usability is great, BUT customer support is slow and irrelevant. ACH worked, deposited ok, but can not withdraw. Account verification takes over a month, unacceptable. Recent update = great improvements in the interface, fees and simplicity

Can't login. Password reset email never arrives. If I can't login, going to end up deleting the app. Update: They decided to deactivate my account instead of helping me. "Customer support" my a**.

Great UI, mediocre options; won't let me invest. Wanted to ACH deposit money to convert into Gemini Earn (which has less lucrative rates than before) but they wouldn't allow me to do so without doing a wire transfer first, which is expensive and slow, two things I would assume Gemini is trying not to be. I hate the third party PLAID but used them at Gemini's recommendation to speed up the process, only to discover I still need to send an expensive wire transfer to Gemini. Worthless! No support

Absolute garbage... it can't even verify my identity. Asks me to let *the app* take a photo of my DL... it takes a photo of the front without too much issue, then asks me to flip it over to let it see the backside... "too close" "too far" "too close" "too far" "too close" "too far" "too close" "too far" on an infinite friggin loop. Held the phone perfectly still, centered directly over, made VERY minor adjustments. Even telling me "too close" when the phone is 3 feet away. BitMart exchange wins!

UPDATE 3/14/22: I'm trying to give them another shot. I don't understand how the app has 4.5 stars. Their customer service is still as frustrating as ever. I tried to reopen my account but was unable, so I tried another email. That was automatically closed as well. I emailed support but they just kicked it back to me saying I need to reach out to support with my other email... Are you guys really so incompetent that you can't just renew the request for me? Why give me the runaround?

They trap you into waiting for bigger gains to sell with excessive fees . Their app lags horribly and prices differ substantially from other apps listings sometimes. I believe they're skimming off the top of your investment by telling you for example price is 12.004 when every other app has it listed at 11. Then they also charge other fees. I wish Robin hood would list more crypto.

Nice to have so many free withdrawals but the transaction fees for non gusd coins are as high as blockfi. At least Gemini still pays interest. But as soon as you make a deposit your entire balance is subject to a hold. Means you have to withdraw what you are eligible to withdraw BEFORE adding new funds or else everything will be unavailable to withdraw until the new funds clear. Sometimes redeem from earn is fast and sometimes takes a few days.

Price is always updated when it goes up, when it goes down you have to force close app or you pay price before it went down... I know what the fees are but because of this issue, nearly always you get 1-5£ less and on top of this tax. I'm down 4% just because of this. I could buy from binance and pay just 18£ withdrawl fee on erc20 but I completely forgot about this "issue". Remember to force closeapp

When I got the app I was happy. I used it for months. I was forced to get a new number and I have since been locked out of my account. I called and spoke to a man with such broken English we could not even communicate. I was given a call back promise and never received a call back. I emailed several time with no response and I sent a text on Facebook. I have tried everything I could think of only to still be locked out. This was easy with every other account but a real headache here.

It's by far the most sluggish app on my phone. I have to think it's very poorly written because it's just an exchange app and my phone is not old. Also there are no options to exchange cryptocurrency for other types of cryptocurrency. I'll also add a star when you start giving interest to Canadians.

Terrible company. They froze my account because I was signing in with another device. They asked me to send proof of ID with a Selfie and holding my driver's license. I did everything they asked me to do. My account is still frozen; they won't respond to emaily and they are trying to keep the money in my account. I contacted my bank. My bank said it is possible to dispute the charge and reverse the payment. From my experience, Gemini will try to steal your money and not respond to emails.

STAY AWAY! Let's you deposit money but good luck ever getting it out. Adding my bank for withdraws is impossible. If you contact support nobody helps you, you only get an email claiming somebody helped you and asks how they did. Thankfully I am tech savvy and know how to send my balance to a wallet but the avarage person wouldn't. Insanely shady. There are better options out there. I basically had to trick them into giving me my profits. Terrible.

Fix you notifications in the app, turned off all notifications and still recieve push marketing for new listed items. Have gone to phone to block all notifications from app to fix this. Poor form.

Terrible customer service, virtually non-existent. They froze my account without and explanation and will not answer my requests for help. Waiting and hoping they get back to me now. Very disappointing experience. Would give zero stars if possible. Update 4-4-2022: My account was unfrozen after about 2 weeks of back and forth with support. Will see how it goes now that I can trade again.

Horrible customer service and system. I went to make an account, accidentally entered a gmail instead of the email provider I use. Went to make another account with the proper provider and went through. Couple hours later, poof! Gone. Contacted customer support and they'd told me my account was closed due to their policy on duplicate accounts. My email has an underscore, something gmail doesn't allow. Inquiried setting my default to my actual email, no response. Low grade company, don't bother.

The app is wonderful, but if I had a gripe about the app, it's that you can't just search for a specific coin. You have to scroll through all of them to find it (unless I'm just missing something). (Update - The app now has a search capability, I'm raising my rating)

The UI is much clearer than other trading platforms. The backend works great money moves easily and the communication of where at in the process I am is really nice to have. Gemini also has better security features with 2FA and using outside authentication apps. I feel pretty good about moving most of my assets here. I only wish there was a wider selection of coins to purchase and trade

Very good app. Just make sure your transfers clear, before you trade if the transfer dose not go through, they will lock your account, customer service is not great. Took me over 5 weeks to unlock my account.

It's got some issues. The graph for your portfolio doesn't work anymore. When you press to change the view from 1d to 3m or any other option. It just doesn't work.

Scam. I deposited money, and can't withdraw it. Been messaging the "help center" for two months. Won't link to any three of my bank accounts and there is no way to access your trading acc # so that you may even transfer stocks to another app that lets you withdraw your own investment. This is a scam that tries to force you into ordering a credit card from their Gemini company

Don't use this app. I had to fight with my local bank to get them to agree to wire my funds. I should have trusted them. My money is frozen in a deactivated account and there is no recourse but to wait days for a reply even after verifying my identity with an uploaded selfie including my id and a handwritten code. I answered additional questions by email, and yet my account remains deactivated. It appears they want you to deposit and hold. Moving and transferring funds is not the focus here.

I'll be using Gemini App less for reasons: 1. I can't view total gain/loss % on potfolio or individual coins 2. Fees on purchase and sell of all coins, except GDC, you should offer standard fee reduction for holders of X amount GDC, or something similar 3. Issues with some graphs on Coins. I'd consider using more and updating review if you address the issues, thanks
