Huge selection of varied cards, with mechanics that allow interesting tactics, lots of different challenges, play as much as you want without paying anything, with reasonable rewards. Beautiful graphics and funny 'stories'. Quite addictive. A bit heavy on network and memory, but does not drain the battery too quickly.

Played 1st on Steam years ago and came back. Really great game. PvP is optional and you are not limited by anything. You can play as much as you want and progress that way. No need to pay and the game itself will only ask you to complete and conquered the map if you want to be able to beat high end over. So yea. I never felt compelled to pay.

This game is really great 4 passing time. It's challenging, has great graphics & up 2 where I'm at (level 125), there still appears 2 be aspects of the game I haven't unlocked yet. The game has a lot of depth & substance 2 it & has kept me interested & wanting 2 come back & play. The 1 major downfall with the game is how overly expensive the in game purchases are, how few different ones there are & how very little is acquired by purchasing them. But overall it's a great game I'd recommend.

I thought it would just be matching jewels, as I'm visually impaired I thought I could manage it. It is so much more, it can be overwhelming for beginners like me but I'm slowly working it out and listening to players on YouTube. It's very enjoyable and addictive, there are soooo many different things to do. I definitely recommend it, I love the fact that battles are not timed (due to my visual impairment) it gives me time to see the gems. Build troops,collect resources, I could go on.....👍😁

I like the game, it's decent and runs really well. The only issue I've encountered was when I switched my avatar to female it froze up in battle so I had to restart the app. So far I dig it : ) easy to navigate, tutorial is decent and not overbearing which is nice. Story is interesting and isn't drawn out to where you lose interest. The only consistent issue I've encountered is the watch ad for reward. Everytime I try to watch an add for a reward I get kicked off the app.

The best Match 3 game I have ever played. The basics are simple, but the game goes really deep with its mechanics. The number of builds you can go for is staggering. Even though the formula of the fights doesn't change at all, the real fun lies in the sheer volume of experimentation you can do. Try out different team compositions and create unique synergies between your characters. That can turn a really difficult fight into a cakewalk. That said, there is also a fair deal or RNG involved.

One of the best Match3 games on the platform. Hundreds of characters, actually strategic both during a match and when assembling a team, as well as tons of content created over it's long lifespan. It has it's own vibe and doesn't simply copy what ever is popular like so many mobile games do. While the music is great, the game could use a graphical update and the UI can be convoluted. It can also feel outdated at certain times and would benefit greatly from something like a soft re-launch.

Best matching game there is, period. Nothing else comes close. My issues are with content though. The story/dialogue throughout the main map is less than the bare minimum. Battles don't really get more difficult as you progress either. The 'campaign' is basically just a glorified tutorial/resource grind to prep you for PVP which is shallow, pointless and just boring. Factions are hollow too. Why am I farming factions for new troops when I've basically finished the game? There's just no point.

FINALLY! I've been trying to find a match 3 RPG that wasn't P2P/P2W or a blatant cash grab. I finally found one in GoW. I've played dozens of these types of games and they're either unexciting or trying to drain every last cent out of you. GoW isn't the most graphically interesting, but the gameplay is deeper than most. New events and troops are added at least every week. There are several mini-games to break up the monotony (they are still match 3, but different styles than the main campaign)

For people saying you need to pay to win - I've been playing free to play for just under a year, competed in the top bracket in guild wars, and won every battle in it. If you like puzzle rpgs then this is the best game of its type. There's a huge amount of content, and no stamina meter so you can play as much as you like. The game gets deeper and more interesting the more you play, and is very free to play friendly. The microtransactions are not priced well, but you never really need them.

I've only just started, but it seems more generous than many other games. Graphics are good. There is no energy that runs out -- that's a deal-breaker for me. I wish you could repeat campaign missions. Sometimes I just want a quick, casual session that isn't too challenging. We'll see how difficult it is at higher levels to progress, but so far it has been quite fun.

This was a great game to play and I have been playing for close to 3 years but since the last major update it has gone into the crapper . The quests and other garbage that a new player has to go through to progress now are nearly impossible, you used to be able to get some good troops early in the game but not anymore. 505 you guys really messed up on this

While there are plenty of good things, the world quests you get as a new player vastly outclass you while the game shoves cash shop in your face. It's still a puzzle quest game, but in this format don't give it your money. Edit: bumped up a star - it's oddly just the first world quest you get that's vastly overleveled. Otherwise progression feels decent enough, but the cash shop push is still way overboard.

I agree with reviews that the game is generally an unbalanced roll of the dice in most fights. The computer is considerably more "lucky" when it comes to gems dropping onto the board. Using mana/gem generating units almost universally benefits the computer and not me. Also, if I make up a team that is missing a particular color the game will invariably overload the board with the color I don't have and can't use.

Cannot say enough about this awesome game!! Once you start it's hard to stop!! Really good match 3 game. Don't think any other compares. You don't need pay a single penny, there's no road blocks or progression stoppers. You can play as much as you like. You get every resource just by playing and get soo many gems. The verity of teams you can make is pretty endless. Lots of different mods and stuff to farm and collect... overall its as good as a match 3 can get.

This game is perfect! I have played other games and this one of outstanding. 1. This game doesn't limit the amount of match-3 games per day! There is no delay between these games! 😍 2. There is no pay-to-win! Actually, no need to pay for anything. No ads too! 😄 3. There is a story line which just exist - no need to read tons of text, but still there is a story which makes battles more interesting. And story characters have their own personalities, which is also good. I love this game!

The game overall is very fun and entertaining. There are some negative things that make it drag on and on. I get it, it's a 3 match game. But each kingdom is dreadfully long and the "stories" in between each level is extremely annoying. There needs to be less levels per Kingdom and a way to speed things up. I enjoy playing but at times, seems like many times, I get annoyed and have to stop playing.

Dig it!!. Lots of content. Well thought out tons of content. Free to play friendly as far as i can see. (2 weeks into it) But its worth a pack of two to make life easier. Also the art alone is worth supporting.

I just started playing two days ago. This is my first match 3 RPG style game. So far I'm really enjoying it. No annoying pop up ads and you can still progress pretty well without spending real money. It can be challenging and I like that. A game is no fun if you can just breeze through it!

Pay to win trash. The game hides its energy timers, the progression is like trying to scale a building in a blizzard, and pvp is inflated with people with pay to win teams at mid to high level. Playing with other people in a guild is basically mandatory. I've been playing this game for a week and been more dissapointed and frustrated every day. Don't buy this game unless you enjoy dropping $300 a month on a mobile game.

Plz fix everything works fine until I load the game at the end it closes the app and goes back to bed l the phone main screen plz fix ... This is my everyday favorite game to play... Plz update so my little phone can play this awesome game

Maybe the best free to play collectible game I've ever played. Buying the Dragon Armor right away was great but since then I've been money free on this one and still having a great experience. You should join the best guild you can as early as possible though, since guilds generate tons of free resources for everyone!

Fun and intuitive. Easy to make real progress. There is a lot to buy but it is not pay to win. The more strategic you are the more the game rewards you. PVP is fun. No toxic nonsense. Everything you want in a free Puzzle/Card/RPG game. I was really skeptical but I am having a great time with it.

Tried to watch an advertisement, got stuck in the ad with no way to return to game and clicking anywhere on screen auto installed the advertised app. Didnt even get ad watch rewards after rebooting game. FAIL.

Fun and distracting for a while. New content rarely added. Ma y many prompts for Pay to Advance. Need a character just to collect treasure maps for another enjoyable area.

Haven't played any game in this genre before, but this is addictive! The gameplay is smooth, the graphics are welcoming, the interface isn't congested. The characters are interesting. I'm surprised I actually like it since it's a puzzle game. I can't stand them mostly.

This game is too grindy and too underewarding. I've sunk quite a few hours over the past several days, but can't get past how agonizingly slow the pace is. I'm level 40 but haven't received any non-storyline characters more rare than blue. I've got several hundred monster but haven't been able to ascend once. The cost to improve units is entirely too high for how much you have to play to get the resources. Even after having sunk in as much time as I have I'm still cut off from lots of content.

Initially enjoyable, but unless you are willing to purchase significant resources it eventually becomes very frustrating as AI opponents just end up slicing through you like a knife through butter. Too complicated unless you are committed and willing to study everything.
