Detects the camera but won't connect. Reason could be that the port numbers for rtsp and ptz were changed within the web interface. If this is the case, then this is just unbelievably from the app to use hard-coded ports. I couldn't be bothered to verify this as I used Tinycam Pro to access the camera.
i just bought the camera and downloaded this app, so for not the greatest experience in using the app to move the camera. i swipe left i swipe right and the camera may move or it may not. zooming in and out finger comands work, but if i want to look down im out of luck. id highly recommend putting arrow buttons to navigate the camera just like you have on thr desktop verson. swiping just doesnt work
awful app hardly ever connects and when it does forgets any settings made.. humanoid detection thinks rain is human .... the list goes on
App was just updated. I rebooted the camera remotely, and now it won't connect to any device. I had rebooted it many times before the latest update, and never had a problem. Tried removing camera from app, then added it back, no change. And yes, I pressed the correct button.
Some useful features, but I prefer Onvifer and the pro upgrade only costs <£4 . Pro option has very useful features.. multi picture view, simple view switch and record to tablet/phone memory. Genbolt( and others) only record to SD card in the camera...
Overall 3 out of 5. — Forced fullscreen mode (no preview in portrait orientation) — No option of changing WB for indoor evening light (unpleasant yellow-greenish tint persists) — "Keep running in the background" checkmark won't remember user's choice
pretty good app with some needed features. would be good if you could set motion alarms or to record only at certain times during the day so I dont get alarms for normal activity during the daytime.
It's a horrible app it does not record 24 hours a day most of all that did not record at night when you need it the most. You never see what's happening between midnight and 6 in the morning in this app is the most stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life. The phone number in the technical department when you call them refuse to do anything about changing the app so it works better all they do is give you a run around with a bunch of stuff you could try to do it to Tinker with it it's retarded.
Terrible app. Downgrade to the eye4 App, BIG TIME. camera keeps connecting and disconnecting. App is slow and laggy. The old eye4 app is a million times better than this but my new camera won't connect to eye4 like my old camera will. Stupid
How can the IR be switched off at night? as when on i can only see its own reflection in my window, i cant seem to find out how to do it, i don`t want an outside camera.Seems to be a decent enough camera with good clear vision during the day
Cannot get to save anything to memory card most times definitely cannot deal any pictures but yet it saves them it is the worst camera in the worst app I've ever seen in my life it's horrible and for the money it's just not working I have $50 cameras that are worth more to me than this $100 camera worst product ever do not waste your money buy something else
Best camera around clicked all the right boxes for me eg: clarity,distance night vision highly recommend.
Its ok. The only problem I get it keeps disconnecting every few minutes and I have to reconnect again. Frustrating

WITH GOXTREME VISION YOU CAN NOT CONNECT.... BECAUSE OF A SPACE AT SSID.....IT DOESN'T ALLOW CONNECTION WITH WI-FI....

this camera is beyond doubt a fantastic piece of equipment
The app user interface is pretty dated and clunky. It crashes quite a bit. Most of the limitations (eg. Wiki password cannot be >16 chars) could be baked into validation of the text box. Why I have to depend on the manual to find that out is beyond me. All in all, a 1990s user experience.
