I do not know who GE Credit Union hired to redo their site or app, but it is horrid. It rarely works, especially when I want to look at the details of my accounts. When it does work, it takes almost a minute to load. The website and app are equally as horrible whether I am on my phone or computer. Get with it GE Credit Union!

Works great.....most of the time. Mobile check deposit takes multiple tries to get it to work. Some functions such as bill pay, are unavailable at times, but not frequently.

The GECU mobile banking app is easy to use, information is displayed in a clear way and transfers between accounts work well. I would have given a 5 star rating if the bill payment setup worked a little better. Three times a transfer was made from a different account than the one I chose...seems it wants to default to the first deposit account I had, not the one I wanted.

The app works well and is easy to navigate. However, depositing checks with it is annoying; it takes a long time to process, seems to always come back after processing with a request that you verify that "for mobile deposit only" is on the back of the check, and then has to process some more. Beyond this one complaint, it is a good app.

It has good amount of features to allow you to bank from your phone. Unfortunately where it falls short is its reliability. Many times it freezes on login screen or it takes 2 minutes to log in. I'd go with a 4 star if it worked and maybe had a feature that is hard to use, but I simply can't use this app when I want sometimes. (And these occurrences happen when my other banking app opens fine, and my internet/ phone arent lagging with any other software.)

Zero stars if I could. They'll do everything in thier power to make sure you'll miss a payment and owe more. They've false flagged my account for a missed payment, changed the website/app multiple times, and now that I'm close to paying it off they buried how much I owe in the site instead of having it be on the landing page. You can't make your final payments on the site/app it has to be over the phone. Can't wait to never do buissness with this terrible company.

This app's mobile check deposit is junk. It will often crop out the endorsement no matter how well you manually line up your check. The auto capture is another nightmare by itself. There's no way to manually cancel a pending request on the app once you see that your check will not be going through. So I'm often stuck waiting days just to try again. This is very frustrating especially if you're out of state and need to rely on this feature to pay rent on time.

I really like the ease of the the app, rarely crashes. I would LOVE IT if I could use the app as a register for my checking account. It should "reserve" the funds and show me a more accurate available balance if i schedule a draft through the app. I would also like to reserve funds when i write a check, and when the amount and check number line up, it should be recognized.

The only reason I downloaded the app was to be able to pay my loan online. It's seemingly impossible to do that from an outside account so the app is pointless unless you do all your banking with GECU. I even linked my checking account online and they still won't allow online payments. Total waste of time and energy.

The lag time after the photo is taken is pret bad. It's annoying when the picture is perfectly clear and legible but one is prompted again to check that. Not my favorite bank app. Now the deposit check option is an extra step so annoying. Same issues with lag time and clear check photos. Not my favorite bank app.

Await to see if a payroll check deposit was successful. Not sure if this is the usual verifications/questions routinely asked during mobile deposit transactions.... But just left me leary about the success of this transaction. Per App multiple requests "if check had signature on front" (was clear) if "my signature on back and mobile app checked" (was clear) changed lighting and background for improvement. So for mobile deposit ability, combined uncertainty, I rate a midway rating of "3" for now.

The app is useful, but I wish security codes could be texted or emailed instead of sent via a phone call. I've had cases where the phone call never comes in. Otherwise, things are very intuitive

App is always "late" report transactions. It's nice to be able to manage banking online, but what good is that if the app is just as slow reporting balance changes and transaction history as the bank itself? Disappointing....

I use this app for mobile check deposits because I live in a small town hours away from the nearest GECU. Mobile check deposits are AWFUL. I DREAD doing them because the app is so particular about legibility, lighting, background, and camera angle. Even when I've done all of those things well and spent half an hour on them, the app usually doesn't accept my deposit for numerous tries, if at all. It's SO particular. I never know whether my deposit will work.

In the last few months, this thing has been wildly inconsistent. I am by no means rich, so when I look in and see no pending and money already out. I expect it to be taken out. Not to to be taken out later suddenly a week later and be over drawn and charged so much everytime. And no, calling isn't any better.

Don't believe the ATM map when it comes to allpoint free ATMs, one day they are be next they are not, so beware if an ATM says it's a allpoint, your best bet is to change banks.

The check deposit feature is very slow and never deposits the check on the first time.......it always tells me to go back and check the picture again and make sure of this, that and the other thing. Very irritating.
