It crashes a lot. I log in and the app logs me right out. Seems as if you changed this app. It used to allow caregivers to look ahead on the first of the month, two months to request extra shifts but not anymore. I cannot see my entire work schedule for the next month now but I used to see it. This application is not a convenient tool anymore.
My experience with this company has been amazing...even though I come and go, they still have shifts open and willingly to call just to ask to see if you want any shifts. Very polite and kind. If I could rate them more I would but this company is a really good place to work. I have been with them for yearssss
I have had problems with this app since the day i started using it. I have to install and uninstall every time i need to log in and out. Yes i have told the company I work for and they contacted you guy's about it. The reply was if i can't use the app after installing it then uninstalling it call your customer service. I just wish you could get it fixed so i don't have this problem. still no help after contacting you guys!!!! This is really annoying!!!!🤔 I updated and still the same problem.
So user-friendly. Cuts down on a lot of time for staff and personal care assistants, too, to have to go back & forth over the phone with each other regarding client information. Client name/address, care plan, visit notes, and ability to clock in & out via GPS is all built into one handy device. Love it!
Very difficult to use in a poor reception area under pressure of a Very needing client and in a timely manner. Always necessary to try 2-3 times then switch to Telephony. No way in that Generations or telephony to pass on the pressured experience when working to calm the client and being cognizant of time.
The app is easy to navigate and allows me to print out my client information such as client schedule sheets and care plans for maintaining client records. I also like the fact that I can document my visit on each client right within the applications platform. As a caregiver, I have to keep thorough records, as I report to multiple government entities, and the generations app helps me do just that, quite easily. it is a good app and the only challenge is the internet connectivity. it sometimes take time to log out and hence leads to some lags in the expected time schedule. the speed should be adjusted to eliminate lags.
The frustration is you can't clock out until your notes are in or that you have either voiced signed out on some of the clients. Also, if you clock in a minute or two after check in because you're trying to bring the app up it goes against you when getting paid.
I like the fact that it has eliminated paperwork and faxing that paperwork. Fortunately my bank allowed me to fax for free, but I still had to stop at my bank, which was another trip, more miles on my car, and more gas. Makes everything very convenient. But I have one question...I would like to print my schedule and this app doesn't allow that. Is there a way that my employer can allow that through your service?
Its very convenient, easy to use and saves paperwork..the only thing I would want somewhat different is the length of time it takes to process log in and out. Sometimes it takes up to 3 minutes.
The Simplicity of Generations is great. It minimizes paperwork as well as communication. I truly like the fact that I am able to get an idea of the clients disposition before entering the home.
horrible app. constantly kicks me off when i'm charting. most of the time i can't even log in. the last update caused more problems. yes i have spoken to my agency and they put in a repair order but the app is still messed up
I am quite pleased with how convenient and super helpful this app is, I love it!! One click and my entire schedule, clock in and out, Case notes all on one place. Sign in with password, done at my finger tips..super handy!!!
for the most part it's ok. if my notes take too long it will shut down on me. I usually write my notes in another app then copy and paste into this program. also, I wish that this app kept a running total of hours worked.
Very helpful for remote time keeping and mass communications and replys, and for care notes. Only suggestion however would be to allow logistical errands en route to work; be able to clock in for a shift during travel routes that requires errands be conducted for that day on the job.
it took me a little while to catch on to how the app worked, but it helps if youre not pressured, have time to make errs and adapt,you have to have a patient and knowledgable teacher, one with an open mind who realizes the app can make mistakes too, while both the business with its employees are learning it, It is learning your business and its employees ,your system, so no fault, just learning together , a system to make it work!
Generations is a useful tool. I find it valuable and easy to use. It facilitates communication, checking scheduled assignments, and maintaining client care plans and visit notes.
The worst charting program out there. I type my notes, click save immediately after, and then come back and the note disappeared entirely. You never know which notes randomly disappear and which ones actually saved. You can't just see all of your notes on one clean page to make sure they're all there. You have to click on every tab, which is time consuming and bulky. You can't review co-workers notes or trends over multiple shifts. I'm about to quit my job because of this terrible charting app.
