WHAT IS MIXTIKL GP?Mixtikl GP is a dedicated multi-platform generative music editor, mixer, arranger and cell sequencer. I used this fantastic app on another device years ago and had no issue with it, but now there are pop up ads assaulting the experience, i cannot hear many of the provided sounds before use, the app is choppy and my interest in it has waned. I still like the app, but you need to either shape up or ship out.
I tried much of icons on the interface but I understood nothing, as many of the buttons don't explain what they do. I use many of professional music creation software and nearly all of them guide me through user interface icons and labels. From this point of view, it seems that this software is made for use of its developers themselves, and accidentally they released it for public use. Also, nearly after all clicks, a fullscreen advertisement interrupts temporarily the operation. Very annoying. Unfortunately, an -unable to use- software can not worth stars. This review is not aiming criticizing the developers, rather, I try to tell them the missed but most important point.
I AM GIVING A 5 for the sheer cheek of I' M asking ,haha, seriously though, this is an incredible piece of work but no I will not go the amazon route to bypass the ads because their permissions policy is eccessive, ( do a mental subtraction of 1 star for that suggestion), thanks for fixing that ugly dropout bug so quickly folks.
Awesome. Absolutely bloody brilliant. Except it is sold through the nefarious Amazon appstore you must have Amazon installed for it to work. God forbid you need to do a factory reset. Amazon will just deny you exist. I lost everything including my money.

If you have an app with inApp purchase in the Google Play Store, the ONLY method of purchase allowed is the Play Store, except your app, in-app , takes users to Amazon. That has to stop. Fix that link. How did you ever come to believe that selling an Amazon-only alpp in the Google Play Store was going to be allowed?
So I downloaded this app thinking it would be quite good based on all the 5 star ratings it has. Went to open the app and all I got was a black screen and couldnt do anything :/ seriously not cool. If you are going to develop an app for android make sure that it actually works!!!!!!

A proper generative music app in the same vein as the legendary Koan, and most definitely not one of the many one-trick generative toys you'll find on Google Play. For ambient heads everywhere. Eno eat your heart out.
I would like to give this five stars had it not been for this problem. I am a android user and it really ticks me off how you haven't added this feature to the android version. And why do android users have to pay for mixdown while IOS doesn't

I've been using Mixtikl for years on desktop and mobile - the guys behind it are always delivering something new and exciting to kick start the creative process
Could not understand how to write my own music. No way of knowing what you are doing.
Sadly the app's quality leaves a lot to be desired, and the ads (which I usually don't mind) are invasive and truly damning to its playability
Just a looper you can not sequence your music, there are other DAWs where you just drop your own loops like Cubase. Have a look at Audio Evolution Mobile on play store.
I have my favorite apps for laying down ideas. But when I wanna make music and need inspiration, this is where I go
Not your traditional daw. At a first glance, it's not for users who get caught up about not being fully in control. Probably best geared towards experimentation. Personally, i thinks it's amazing. Great work developers!
I have it installed on my iPad and love it, but what's the deal with the incredibly intrusive, constant ads on Android!?! I would have even possibly purchased here, but having to install from Amazon??? Why the extra step. That just put me over the top. Keep it simple guys. You just lost me as a customer...
This app is AWESOME!!! Please add a button in the options menu to keep the screen on so the mixes stay on as well, both Chess Free & Ttorrent do it with a box to check in the options. Thank you!

Interesting app and exactly what i was looking for. Seems to excel in ambient - think music for airports by Brian eno. Haven't the foggiest how to use it - haven't been able to change much yet (nothing seems to make a difference apart from occasionally adding an instrument) I'm sure its me - need to read the manual! Hence 4 stars as it could be easier to use.
