Genius Fax is the easiest way to send and receive faxes from your Android device that stays affordable. It's fast, simple to use and beautiful. No need to go to the dreaded fax store anymore.
To send a fax: choose a file from any location (Dropbox, Google Drive, any other app)To receive a fax: subscribe for a number and you’re all set. You receive documents as PDF and can preview them or export them to any other app.

Genius Fax is an outstanding app that has never failed me. I've been using it for over eight years with absolutely no problems. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to send a fax! 😊
Scanning on the go from my phone. I love this app! Being able to create a pdf no matter where I am (as long as I have my phone) is such a convenient thing! I have use this app both for work and personally for 4+ years. While I have experienced a hiccup here and there where I scanned something and then couldn't find it - it was probably due to human error. The app moves and operates as it should 99% of the time.
I live this app and the layout. Very easy to use. However, there is one major flaw that I dislike.. Its very expensive to get credits to fax pages. The only way to gain those credits is to buy them and you do not get many credits for the cost. It would he terrific if we could earn credits by watching videos like alot of the other fax apps do.
Simply doesn't allow the user to fax multiple documents in one go: pretty simple way to create an unnecessarily frustrating experience. Additionally, when creating a new fax, the user cannot change the document once selected (only able to view the selected file), user must exit and restart process in order to change the file being faxed. Could be better with these fixes.
Could be more affordable, as staples is like .10 per page via fax...but honestly you cannot beat the convenience especially during the times of COVID-19. I give it a four because it really is an excellent tool, but again .99 per page really isn't necessary especially when you cannot pay per page, and only have the option to purchase 1 credit, 6 credits, and 10 credits (I believe) towards your faxed pages. I faxed over 1 page but under six, im left with thee credits that I may never use.
Like, who has a hardline to fax documents anymore? But when you need it, you need it (thanks mortgage company.) This app is a huge time saver.
They say necessity is the mother of all inventions. Sure glad this app. was invented because it sure was needed. Very simple to use and worth every penny.
It agrees with my style of faxing only thing I would change if it's possible instead of faxing one page at a time be able to fax multiple pages at a time and it works great though other than that
Very disappointing. Fax errors out when I try to send, says I need a receiving fax number, which is an additional $3.99 for one month. Only allows you to fax one page at a time, so if you have a 3 page document you have to do 3 separate faxes. Then I had to buy credits, I paid $6.99 for 10 pages of credits, yes .69 cents per page. The video tutorial was so small I could not see what was being done, I was unable to enlarge it, and no sound. Very disappointed and wasted $6.99.
Deceptive, not giving all details upfront on costs. First was purchase page credits, I was fine with this, as it said they never expire! But, after purchase, next screen requires a fax number purchase, which is $3.99 for one month, or a 3 month or 6 month option! Feel the total price should be upfront, not baiting you for cheap page costs when you have an additional high cost expiring fax number purchase!
Do NOT waste your time or money on this app. Its a rip off. You have to buy credits to send faxes that don't go anywhere...I don't think. I paid for 10 credits as i had 2 pages to send & used 2 of the credits to send an important work compo document to my case worker & he never received it but I received notification that it sent properly. I paid $8 for no reason other than to line the developers wallets.
I had important urgent matters to attend & needed a fax, and fast! Our closest fax service is 30 minutes & my car is acting up. I downloaded Genius Fax hoping the app would Save. The. Day. It darn well did! Outstanding app. Great price & convenient google play payment option. I don't have to waste gas, waste time & stand in lines. I received a confirmation receipt immediately showing my fax & the apps FREE cover sheet went through with recipients info. Very pleased with ease of use.
Simple, quick and easy to use. Well worth the $0.99 per page for the convenience of scanning a page and immediately faxing it. You can scan a new document, or choose one already on your device. The app gives confirmation that the fax was successfully sent as well. I will use this again for sure!
Works as intended. Clean interface. Almost impossible to screw up. I also like the auto coversheet option. $0.99 per page really isn't all that much for someone like myself who needs to send maybe a fax or two a year.
This app works best in conjunction with Genius Scan; however, it does not require it. This is an incredible app. I've used it for small business and personal use. It allows you to send faxes w/o having a fax line installed. Also, as a small business type I love that I can set up a fax number that goes to my cell phone to receive faxes. It was very simple and I truly enjoyed it, although I cancelled later due to lack of use. Highly recommend both this and Genius Scan!!
Best (and less "very expensive" ) than anything else that I tried (or attempted to try). If there was a way to select more recipients for the same fax and to have an image of the first page of the fax on the receipt, it would be even better. (if it can then maybe if it was easier to do/set it? 😬)
This app works great. I'd prefer to pay a one time fee but you can buy 50 pages for 20 bucks and most people don't need to fax that often, 50 pages for me would probably be enough for the next 6 years at least no exaggeration. Easy to use. Works great with genius scan which is another great app by the way for scanning documents. You can export your scans straight to this app. This will be my go to faxing app from here on out.
I'm giving this a 3 star only because of pricing, if it was a little cheaper like 25 or 50 cents a page like a $1 for 4 pages I would absolutely give this a 5 star rating as so far it seems to be super convenient and is much easier for me to scan my documents through genius scan and fax directly from my phone with as little faxing as I have to do, it is a lot easier to fax from home with my wifi than to chase down a fax machine. I did get a confirmation report so I'm assuming the fax completed.
You must purchase credits in increment of 10 @ $0.99 each credit. The charge to send or recieve is $0.99 per page. Nothing in life is free, so at the per page price I may as well go to a local retailer and watch my pages feed through the fax machine and get a confirmation before I leave.
Incredibly easy to use, you can actually pay per page instead of having to purchase a bunch at once (so it's great for people who don't use fax often), and also the cover letter is free. Amazing app!
Takes forever to load up longer documents, but idk if that's the case with all fax apps. Had failed attempts with such larger documents BUT eventually went through. Credits were refunded automatically for failed attempts. Overall solid and we've been a user of this app an easy 3 or 4 years.
It was quick and simple when used with Genius scan. I just downloaded both apps, scanned papers, and sent. I bought 10 credits to send pages for $7. I don't need to fax often but for my needs maybe 3 to 4 times a year it's the perfect fit.
I have used the app twice and its fast and everything is so clear and easy to use its like having my own fax number which for a very small fee you have. Glad to know that I can take care of business from the comfort of my own cell phone and it takes seconds...
Very easy to use, very clear and reasonable prices for sending occasional faxes. Also nice integration with their great scanning app, to make things even easier. Absolutely recommend.
Works as its supposed to so far. No complaints and not to bad on cost considering nobody faxes hardly anymore so its pointless to keep a fax machine around. I've sent multiple faxes through this and they've all gone through flawlessly. You can even make a cover page to look real professional-like
I love that I can fax from my phone, but I don't like the cost. Faxing is becoming archaic, and I feel it shouldn't cost as much as it does. On another note, you know right away if it went through and their support system is quick as well!

Amazing! I just got hired and had to FAX some consent and authorization forms.... I didnt want to go to staples. I tried at my college but couldn't find a fax machine anywhere. I downloaded this with Genius Scan which I have used before... it what made me think they might have one... tha fully they did. Use this! Yes it isnt free but its cheap!!!
I needed to fax some important documents to my provider to have them fill out for my maternity leave and this app did that so easily and quick. highly recommend!
