Works great with an ipega controller. However, once in-game, there is no way to access the app menu, so in order to change settings or load a different game, I have to force stop the app and then reopen it. Extremely inconvenient. Hitting the back button on the android interface does nothing at all.

Just installed it today, and I'm impressed with the emulation quality so far. Only complaints are that it's nearly impossible to push two buttons at the same time with one finger while using touch screen controls, and I wish I could rotate the screen in any direction to use the app so that my headphone jack doesn't get in my way.

This is great for a free app. No annoying ads either. Had a few crashes, but overall it runs very well. Touch screen controls are good and I love the fact you can add a controller. As other reviews have mentioned, it may not be the most intuitive app to use. For a free app though, I'm willing to forgive it being a little rough round the edges.

I love this app and it works great with my Xbox one controller. I would give it 5 stars but the problem I have with it is that when I connect another Xbox one controller it detects it just fine and I can get it setup but once in the game the second player controller doesn't work. I am not sure if there is something else I need to do or what but it is kind of annoying because I want to be able to play 2 player games with my brother but can't. Please fix it.

The game roms loaded up and looked good. Yet, I was still unable to play due to a major game glitch. No matter where I touched the screen. It would only pause. This happened with all of the game on all of the setting configurations. I know that the roms were not corrupt. My game rom's play perfectly on another emulator. That being said.. GENPlusDroid has alot of potential.. There just needs to be some UI improvements.

it's actually a great emulator, it's not that bad. It emulates the games well, BUT for some reason I can't play any if the games with a Bluetooth controller. everytime I try playing any of the games with a Bluetooth controller it'll exit me out the game, only whenever I press the buttons. (not the d pad). Great app, just needs a little fix.

Can't configure controller input? The option is in the menu, but it doesn't actually work. Forced to use the default option which is set up very strange, the c button is mapped to one of the shoulder buttons by default. No easy fast forward button either because of this as well. Also just realized my save states are no longer working.. time to move on to another emulator.

The main problem is the landscape mode is upside down so if you have a gamepad controller that has type c usb that is on the left side this emulaor is useless because the picture will be upside down so of course you can't play it. They need to fix and it will go from a one star to at least a four. Until they fix it I have no choice but to find another emulator.

This app isn't optimized well for my device, the emulation visually stutters a lot, while audio seems to be fine. Will hope for a update fixing this issue as its kind of hard to play a Sonic game under these issues.

Been using this for years, really great, the only issue I've noticed is the sound is delayed in some games for about 0.2 second and it's really off-puting and I can't fix it. Everything else works fine

Why oh why can't I use my bluetooth controller in this version? The problem lies in the buttons mapping. I can't unmap or deregister my controller for the player 2, 3, 4 and that means everything I map for the 1st player goes all the way to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th players controller as well! In short, they cancel eachother out and can't use my controller! I refuse to use the touchscreen button for any retro games and until you guys fixed it, I won't up the stars.

It plays the roms and easy to use... But the sound is a bit annoying issue of crackle or delay. That's about the only issue I've noticed. Pls fx sound crackle or at least if you can and I will give this five to ten stars! By the way? Keep working on this emulator! I greatly appreciate it!!! And your hard work is admirable! This Sega emulator is so far better than any other ones on the store! Way better!!!

The current version does not work well on a Google Pixel 6. The emulation runs too quickly, and when sound is enabled the emulation seems to stutter to keep in sync with the visuals. I love this emulator and hope that it gets updated soon.

Not bad. Easy to navigate, and easy to manage roms. If I have one suggestion, it's that when trying to tweak the button arrangement, it would help if the interval for holding the button before the resize kicks in to be longer. It makes it tough to place a control just right if the resize box keeps popping up immediately.

This is very good, SO GOOD!, but the only thing is that if u wanna download or play a game the hole screen is black like, Black black! I thought my phone was off this hole time but it was on😅 But the game u wanna play more u can just download another one But this one was stunning! For me was no errors no things like "warning your tablet is watafer" But it's just good!

I can't believe this emulator actually good. Enable to record gameplay with my screen recorder. Bit laggy at first though but not much. Meanwhile other MD emulator cannot be recorded. It will be nice if i can resize the screen too for landscape mode to avoid overlap with buttons. And please fix the auto rotation.

Since the last update, the control mapping issue has been fixed. It's now perfect with the ability to not only use touch, but also map your controller - even to the rewind and fast forward buttons. The one choice I will always pick for emulating Genesis/SMD games.

A good emulator, but it seems to stutter a little on my Red Magic 3; and it doesn't even have a display option to put it in Reverse Landscape, which I need, since my GameSir X2 controller only works for Reverse Landscape. As it stands, I have to play games upside down on this app, and it isn't exactly comfortable.

This emulator is really.... something it's better than other Sega Genesis emulators trust me but it's really unoptimized existing the app and going back in for one second makes the whole game go into a black screen the game is still playing but I can't see anything. The worst is trying to use cheats for games it's really hard to play the game most cheats crashes the games the one's that don't make the game to play horribly. Pls I really hope u fix this bcos I really see potential in the emulator

There is no way to set up Gamepad controls. I keep trying to do so, but there is no way to confirm changes. I tried to map the controls to my gamepad, but the only way out of the menu is the backspace key, which cancels your changes. There is no way to confirm changes. Please fix that, because I do not want to have to use the touch screen.

I love the app but i have encountered issues since the most recent update, the options to save and load games have disappeared from the gameplay screen so i can't save progress now, it was perfect before the update. Hopefully you can rectify this as I really enjoy using the app, easily the best emulator around.

Is there no way to turn this off? As good as an app as it might be, the fact that I had to reboot my phone in order to switch to another app or turn it off is completely unacceptable. This needs to be fixed. Zero Stars. All apps that don't have something as basic as a way to exit get zero Stars.

I used this for a month or two, and it worked great, but I just opened it and there has been an update. Now I can't use my controller. I use a ps4 dual shock and it worked great before but everything reset after the update and I can't use it. I don't like using touch screen controls so I hope this gets fixed.

Great app! I have a Note9 and using a PS4 controller. I am able to map out the buttons and remove the on display buttons. Have not had any issues with the games I have been playing so far. If I notice anything. I will update. Great job!

This app is great. The quality of the emulator is crisp af. There is one minor flaw, the audio quality is good but low pitched and it only works for an older version of android if you can fix these problems than that will be great! I still recommend it.

It's great but I have only one problem, the screen will only turn horizontally in one direction. I need to flip it the other way because my hand covers my speaker. Otherwise truly awesome emulator, props to you my dude.

[ constant stutter ] ( My Device: Moto G ) Review: It loads roms fine, but every 2 seconds or less it freezes up for a second, making most games unplayable. Suggestion: There needs to be a way to optimize the settings so it can run smoother.
