Geometric Weather

Great free little weather app with a nice UI and lots of things to customize but it's not bug free. Air quality, for example, is missing from AccuWeather forecast for Paris, though a quick look on their website clearly shows it's part of their data. And last update introduced a bug where the app can't be translated to other languages, no matter what you do, you'll have to use English for the UI and the weather data. Too bad

I've tried a bunch of other apps but this is by far the best. No ugly invasive ads, uses accuweather for accuracy, and is so clean to look at and easy to use. Love the icon too and the beautiful minimalist design of the app. Every little aspect and metric included is so well thought out and designed. I wish I had the skill to do this, it's just fantastic.

This is a very nice weather app! I downloaded at least 15 different weather apps and after trying them all out, this one stuck out as the best! It's easy to use, notification icon/text is nice. I really appreciate the fact that it's free, no expensive upgrade price/subscription and has NO ADS, wooohooo!! Thank you to the developers of this lovely weather app. Only suggestion would be allow color choices and/or fonts w/ sizing. UPDATE: centimeters still appear even though inches is selected :(

Precipitation is inaccurate. For instance, the daily forecast tab seems to predict a 90% chance during day while the hourly tab has sun and scattered clouds throughout the day with no rain in sight. The hourly tab is the one that is right most of the time. It really makes no sense why this happens and I end up having to use Samsung's weather app for information.

Two stars for the smooth and silky looks of this app! BUT! Awful performance! Like other weather apps I have tested lately despite applying different settings the sync refresh of widget and app don't work and also weather predictions are way off as well. I will be sticking with my trusted Weawow weather app as i have never had any of these problems before!

The best weather app on the store. I love the animations, the layout is intuitive, and generally quite an accurate app too. The only thing I would change is an easier way to select other cities, and also more animations for different weather events. The other thing is the "cloudy" looks more like sun and clouds which is a bit misleading. Otherwise, it's perfect!

Very nice looking minimalistic weather app, and it's free! Data is accurate (AccuWeather), there's no ads, and there are some nice customization settings as well. I do wish the timeline interface was cleaner (it's cramped and things often overlap), and the icons were cleaner. Partly cloudy looks the same as mostly cloudy. But it's still a great weather app, and again it's free, so I can't really complain.

After the news that Dark Sky was going iOS only, I immediately uninstalled it and went looking for a suitable replacement. I installed 12 different weather apps to try out, and Geometric Weather was the winner for a lot of reasons. First, its free, with a place to leave a donation. It's interface is fun, easy to read, and highly customizable. Lots of settings for tweaking, and no nagging ads displayed. It doesn't have radar, so that might be needed by some, but my weather app of choice!

Strange. I thought I wrote a review a few days ago? Anyway. I love the app design. I just have an issue with one of the widgets. Clicking the widget doesn't always open the app and the the low temp is listed first. I've always seem the high listed before the low, so that throws me off and I wish I could switch them in the widget. Other than that it's a decent app. Edit: The app was updated which includes the ability to switch the position of high and low temperatures. Thank you!

Excellent app. I've been using this for the last 2-3 months and it has exceeded all my expectations. However with the new Material You design on Android 12, the primary color seems to blend in with the dark backgrounds and the weather trend lines are not quite visible. I guess the app needs minor maintenance to keep it going through Android 12.

This is probably one of the best weather apps I've installed. I like the stock Android and I like geometric weather's design style. Superior to Google's minimalistic one. I also like the fact that it has an optional live wallpaper you can install in the background. Which is a plus, because I'm a live wallpaper buyer. Have absolutely no complaints, has all the options selectable that you want to see in your notification pane or the top bar. Surprised that it was free when I searched to purchase.

Easily one of the best weather apps out there. The only downsides I noticed are the lack of a precipitation radar functionality (not a big deal) and annoying forest fire/thunderstorm alerts appearing on the first tile. And I would also like to see information such as wind speed, humidity, day/night temperature, etc. to be accessible without scrolling anything down.

I spent literal hours trying to find a new weather app to use. After all the ones I've tried, this app has proven itself as the best. It's got a simple material look, a lot of customization, and almost everything I could ask for. However, the one little suggestion I have is the addition of a little refresh wheel on the widgets. I know you can tap to refresh, but I think having a small refresh wheel similar to the Samsung weather widget's would be a better fit.

Love this app, and it does everything I was hoping it would. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I am not fully satisfied with the text in the widget options. Right now, you can have either white or black font. The trouble is viewing that font on any wall paper. If the widget's text was white with a black outline or black with a white outline, it would solve this issue. If this change is made, I will adjust my review to be 5 star, as this truly is a great app. Thanks.

This is a very clean and great weather app that includes all the information I need to see except current air quality index. The app shows air quality index forecast but not current air quality index which sometimes becomes very critical. The other problem I have is when I turn on the option to update the weather when I click on the widget, it deactivates the ability to click on the weather icon to open the app.

Absolutely love the interface of this app, but the weather information is terrifyingly inaccurate, and there's only one option of weather provider (AccuWeather). My region is about 29 degrees C today before humidity, but this app continues to insist that it's only 19 degrees. Everything else works great and other information is accurate, but the temperature is off by 10 degrees. I'd love to see this fixed because the app is very pretty.

It's ok. Lots of good and useful info presented in creative ways. Unfortunately the date can be outdated and way off in some cases. The design is pretty in the surface, but often distracting. If I'm checking the weather while I'm getting dressed I want key info quickly—not have to ingest a ton of data to make a simple informed decision.

I am glad to see the new version allows us to customize daily trends. Thank you for adopting my suggestions! Now I find a new issue that can be improved. The details card may contain too much info which makes it a bit long to scroll. It also doesn't support multi-column display in landscape mode. Can we also have content customization options for this card? Anyway, this app already surpasses a bunch of weather apps in terms of customization. I love it and its diligent developers!

It looks like an enhanced version of OnePlus weather widget. Very clean design, loving it and the inclusion of the moon rises and moonsets is glorious (I am a homegrown astronomer). Thank you! Only gripe is that clicking on the weather part of the widget does not open the actual app - EDIT: it actually does, but only when you have the option "refresh while tapping on the widget" OFF.

Thanks for the ad-free service you provide, that is a big relief. I would have given it 5star if it had a radar and a little more customisable widget. UI is clean and professional. Number of widget as of now is good, you may think of adding more in future I guess. Please fix the bugs here and there, like some of the widgets does not open up to the app if you tap on them.

I really like this app, the only problem is is that everything is in celsius! I, unfortunatly, only know farenheight temperatures. I can't find a setting to change it! Overall the layout of the app is really nice, the background turns with your phone which is really cool, and the icons are neat and simple.

Nice app. Simple, informative. It needs more background choices. I hate both. I'd also love a "Lightning Strike" feature you can look at (and notification) for Live info, with "Distance" (like WeatherBug and 2 other popular weather apps). In states like Florida, Texas, Wyoming, etc., this is important, as it happens often and can be deadly! I'd switch and pay if it had more Backgrounds and Lightning, since it already has decent widgets. Then it'd be 5 Stars.

Unless you need radar or personal weather station data, in my experience this is the best weather app for Android. I've been trying to find a replacement for the ruined Weather Underground, and in the process I've taken over 30 weather apps for a test drive. This is the only one I kept, and even though I still have WU (for the PWSs and the radar), Geometric Weather has become my go-to weather app. It's small, it's fast, it has far-and-away the best-looking and most intuitive UI of all the apps I've tried, with lots of customizations available (including rearranging the info cards). It's usually at least as accurate as WU, and often more so — which is weird because it uses AccuWeather, but it’s *way* more accurate than AccuWeather’s own app. (*None* of the other weather apps came close in my mirco-climate area, where one mile can mean a 5°-10°F difference.) The hourly and daily meteogram display (very important to me) is better than any other app. (I *love* that *yesterday's* high and low are the gauges for today’s graph — why has nobody else thought of this!) Even the sun/moon UI is the best I've seen. Good, customizable widgets, too. You can even choose different icon sets for the weather icons. There are just a few things I'd change: In dark mode, the dark-gray precipitation indicator on the metrogram is way too hard to see (why not dark blue?), and some data has no context —Allergens and Air Quality need a fixed SCALE for people to understand them (air quality today is 63…*out of what*?). If it had radar, I might dump WU all together. But on the other hand, I love that it’s only 18MB. In short: I’m very happy with this app.

Almost perfect! Like the UI very much, clean and easy to read, and lots of customisation. Now if these 2 issues can be fixed it'll be 5-star perfect! 1. No weather alert notification sent, even though I enabled it in settings, and the alert itself in weather page is too subtle to ignore with grey small text 2. Widget not updating when touching, unless touch it to go in to the app, please add an update button on the widget. And please go to current weather condition when touching current weather

What a great app! After searching from endless list of weather apps, this is the one I chose for animations, covered informations, colors, & UI. Those things are sleek! Accuracy sometimes messed up, but I hope it can be improved. I suggest to add the "lock screen only" for live wallpaper, that would be sick! 10 out of 10!

Great, except for one thing. In the widgets that show both daily and weekly, the main temperature for that day isn't bolded. So it's hard to quickly see at a glance which temperature is the one for that day. If this can be fix, it's easily 5 stars for me. Developers, could you adjust this please? Thanks in advanced!

My favorite weather app! It looks beautiful and doesn't annoy me with ads. :) My only suggestion - please add support for tablets. I have an Android touch screen in my car, it's Landscape, but can install this app cause it's not "compatible". Thank you!
