Taking ages to log in. Sometimes it doesnt work at all... If you manage to get in the app it is really clear and easy to manage. Ps. Why should I DEACTIVATE energy-saving mode... I dont use it for fun! Maybe try solving this problem instead of trying to change every customers smartphone settings
The app has improved by leaps and bounds over the last few months. Yes you need to install S Identity which isn't as convenient or nice as something like Authy, but it has been working flawlessly for months. With the more recent updates, George has started calling S Identity automatically when signing is required which makes the approval process effortless.
Notifications work as it should. They are automaticly set. Support is wondeful and always ready to step in and help. App never crashes. Verification process is simple and only done once. Works on every (4G or 5G) network with no problems.
Doesn't work anymore since the last update. I try to open it but the app never responds and my phone starts to freeze up completely (Galaxy S10+) I have to completely reboot the phone again most times when this happens. It used to work perfectly fine beforehand.
I assume that the rates for this app were actually ordered, otherwise I don't understand why it has 4.7 rating. As you can scroll throughout the reviews, the problem with login remains the same. It is just an infinite loading screen or network error. Why can't you just use the goddamn pincode without s-identity as it workes in any other country? That is ridiculous, the problem with loging remains the same for more than 1 year and you still haven't fixed it, what a shame.
Very useful app. Great that is in English too. You can do almost everything online without the need to go to the bank. Even communication with the bank. Great app!
The app is perfect, but yesterday I updated to android 12 and George keeps crashing a few seconds after opening it. Is this problem reported a lot? Are there issues with android 12?
App has a lot of security false positives blocking the access for no real reason
Awesome experience, smooth UI, easy to use.
Used to be a good app but is very buggy recently. Edit: I cannot pay with NFC anymore ("no primary card set" or so, although it's set and I even switched from account to credit card and back to make sure it's set). There also seems to be a problem related to the credit card (I guess you're fetching that information from somewhere else) that delays the startup dramatically (couldn't you just load this asynchronously?). It also happens quite often that I have to reauthenticate (sIdentity) multiple times because the communication between the apps is not working properly. I would also recommend to grey options out that are (temporarily) not available instead of removing them from the menu. The most common error I've seen is something with "network error"' although I'm definitely online; I can add the error code here if it happens again.
Most of the time application is behaving unpredictable. The same issue existed a year ago - after log in application stuck on the loading screen. If you minimize or close application and start it again, it will log in in the app without authentication, showing all the accounts. Also, all of a sudden I am no longer able to use mobile payment on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 9). I am giving 2 stars just because of the application potential.
Sometimes App doesn't load at all other times there is a disconnect between the app and S-Idendtity. So if you are out it's very likely that you will have NO access to your bank account. Edit: With turning your phone off power save mode the app works better, still a little funky sometimes but otherwise the app is user friendly.
No Google Pay integration(the nfc integration is quite bad and hasn't worked in spain, with was a huge pain) Uses some antipattems in the communication(you get spam/promotional content, but when you change from a free account to a paid one there is only a silent, short line about it) Login has some problems lately

Works just fine and is regularly updated.
It's a pretty great app, you can access your accounts very easily and can choose if you want to use a password or the fingerprint option to log in. The only downside is that sometimes it takes longer to receive the TAN but maybe that's just something my phone does. Otherwise very pleased!
Works like a charm. Payments are easy and quick. The only drawback is that you cannot transfer money abroad through the app (though you can through the website).
I have some problems with setting the amount as it is different every time.
The best banking app I've ever had, period. Wish the budget seeing thing would be free for young people and students. Encouraging responsable spending.

Templates for payments do not allow to change amount that is payed each month. Would be eadier if the payee details are saved and amount editable.

Ok I am officially going crazy!!! This is my 10th time in 3 weeks installing and deleting the app as it just freezes and it doesn't allow me to login. So I manage to enter my password and then it just shows me the logo and blue screen for 30 min or longer. Then I go to S identity also blocks..Before the recent changes were placed I had no issues. I have no other idea but to reinstall the app in such cases...
Fantastic! No problems faced whatsoever! Easy to use interface with helpful guides and smooth colorful graphics. However, it's important to note that it does not provide the full services of online George using a computer, such as international transfers, but it works perfectly for day-to-day transactions.
Very bad!!! After using this app I consider to change the bank... First my app is in English but when you want to do something all the explanation for it is in German. I just wanted to change the limit of my overdraft and they ask me to fulfill information for 100 of private things and even to upload my last 3 payment documents.... I lost 30 min for that and money since I needed to be fast in changing this limit and be able to transfer money for private deal... Very bad experience!!!!!!!!!!!!

this app is great. sadly contactless payment does still not work with Android 10 anymore. This was reported a month ago already and is still not fixed for the final Android release. Also don't even try to enable NFC on phones where it will not work yet as cancelling the nfc set-up will totally break the app and requires deleting all app data. Any update?
It's really good to manage your account and pay your bills. I'm happy with it, but I have a suggestion for the credit card. In other countries it is possible to have a virtual card and also receive push notifications instead of sms. Also, investing through the app would be awesome. :-) See Nubank in Brazil (people love it)
I stuck with this app through the major teething problems, and was happy it turned out to be a usable tool. In the past 6 months, it has been going downhill at a rapid pace. It took 8 days and 6 contacts with customer service to find me the number of my new online credit card, including 4 WILDLY INCORRECT suggestions of where I might find this. Currently, there are app errors when changing card settings, editing round-up savings, ... and much more than Google reviews allow with their 500 chars.
