With the latest update, new manual transfers are impossible. The process gets stuck with the loading splash screen, followed by the error: "I'm sorry, I could not load the overview. Error: 400.0.7ca9ccc1"
I keep getting a push notification that George will not work properly unless Google play services gets access to Contacts and Phone. Did not have this problem previously. Edit april 2022: after entering pin app stops reacting. Still not solved after 2+ weeks.
Absolutely great, love it and has a lot of great functions. Even the chat inside the app as a fair response time.
Since last week, I can no longer access my account as the app crashes instantly as soon as I enter the password: "Unfortunately, George has stopped". Tried on two different phones and it behaves the same.
Used to love the app until it stopped scanning bar codes and now I can't pay the bills and have to complicate myself doing it in another way. Not to mention that sometimes it just keeps loading and loading.
Hello, An app very hard to use. Their functionalities are quite the same with a physical counter. Enters in maintenance at each 3 days, probably even they know there are a lot of issues. There is a limit at "Add money" service(other banks do not practice this); Bank Messages related with some operations are not displayed; "Loan Repayment" button is disabled right in the moment when you want to do a repayment and it is forcing you to pay a small interest. This is not "Intelligent" at all!
it does not work on Android 11. I get a "please connect to the internet and try again" I tried via wifi and mobile data, it won't work anymore
The initial setup is very convoluted. Pairing the app with the e-token app always requires the assistance of someone from the bank because you need multiple keys, some from the system some sent by SMS. It's a real hassle. But once set up, it's very smooth, easy to operate and clear to understand. Makes banking very quick and easy.
The app is great and is a must for me, but recently, it keeps crashing immediately after the log in. I emailed them 3 times already, and guess what! The email they have right here on Play Store is useless. Some emails didn't even send, and for the ones that did, I have received silence in response. I need to pay my bills! This has been going on for weeks already! Very unprofessional. Device used: Samsung A70
Very good app except a few crashes I've been experiencing. The most annoying one is when making a new payment / transfer, entering the IBAN and on the next screen, when you press next (on the keyboard, not on the interface) the application crashes without fail (Samsung Galaxy Note 5). Otherwise the interface is friendly and easy to navigate.
Unreliable, the latest updates made it unreliable, sometimes it stucks at the loading screen. The biggest downside is the lack of operations like history of transactions from old version, and almost two years in still they have failed fully port the functionality from the old one. Thank you for your reply, I understand it will be improved over time but you could have allowed access to the old version until all functionality was moved over.
Annoying screen keeps popping up making it unusable unless I switch apps and then return. Update: Still not fixed after 2 months and a half. Updated to latest version, cleared cache. Did not reinstall. Score dropped to 1 star, this is extremely annoying. For the simple operations I do on my phone, the old app was great. Now every transfer is a struggle.
It is slow. Veerrrryyyy slow. TOO often renains blocked or crashes-8 times out of 10:(((... Also, the online banking tool used to have options like creating a savings account or currency exchange but bow all one can do with it is transferring money as payments. The old version was full of variety and fast. This new one...a failure.
Not user friendly at all, a lot of "maintenance" periods - would not recommend.
Only 4 stars due to missing the balance info after each operation (would be a plus for accounts with many transactions). Otherwise everything seems to work really well, quick login with fingerprint, plenty of tools regarding payment patterns/recipients. I'm still not using it at the full capacity as I leave abroad. For now, does exactly what I need to do, safely and transparent.
2021 has not been the best year for George. Most of the times the application will not open on mobile, and lately even when I try to log in on my laptop it's still presenting issues of all sorts. I very much enjoyed it before, I don't think I faced any similar problems prior to December 2020, but for the past few months it's been an utter disappointment. I faced the same issue that some other user mentioned 1004- install app from secure Google play app, which I am glad to see now is fixed.
Since the last update the authentication with fingerprints is not working anymore. It doesn't scan bar codes anymore and not sure about contactless payment either..... I am disappointed
After last night work, the app is not working at all. Please investigate and fix it asap.
Yes, my mother may be technologically inept. But your app shouldn't channel a technologically inept person's efforts directly towards failure. The interface is fine for someone born into the smartphone mood and era, but not so much for people past the age of willingness to learn a whole new level of abstraction. Signing a payment with the companion app - eToken - is a needless chore, as it requires users to memorize yet another password, apart from the one already required by George.
I am very disappointed! I used the application on a phone with Android 5.0.2, until recently, when, unfortunately, the minimum requirements changed to Android 5.1. The phone I use no longer supports updates, but I am very attached to it and do not want to change it at this time. Please consider an extension of app compatibility for Android 5.0. Thanks

Used to recommend this app to everyone but now the Barcode Scanner doesn't work, and also the Multi Banking feature can't connect to Revolut.
There is a bug with the additional loan payment option. Even if you choose to decrease the loan duration, it decreases the instalment rate instead. It happened twice and the support said they will solve it but they did not, even if I insisted many times. Otherwise the application is pretty good.
When I logged in on the web version, everything went smooth and nice, first impression was *wow, this is better than "click24Banking"and than I installed the application on my phone and guess what? It kept saying that my password is incorrect. I tried to log in again on the web version and it went OK there . Well, maybe I tiped it wrong. Let's try it again. And I tried. And guess what... My account is blocked now. So from me a BIG 1,and that is because I cannot give you 0.

After the Las update it doesn't remember the easy access method. I set up the method every time I acces the up but doesn't remember it. And every time the ap asks to set easy access method even if I select not to set one. Also notifications are no longer sent. Please fix things, is frustrating!
