Why do I need to use an additional gadget because FB reminds me of birthdays?
Yes, the FB reminds you of your friends' birthdays, but GeraProga.Lt will remind you of the birthdays, name days and important occasions of your close people. In addition, the FB has no children and other "offline" people, and many people have banned the FB to show their birthday. You can have all your contacts in the GoodProg.Lt app and congratulate a person who is important to you with a single click or call!
Can I import birthdays from my FB account?
Unfortunately, the FB has for some time been banning external gadgets from scanning friends' birthdays.
Attention! Planned gadget add-ons: there will be a chance to choose greeting words, plan to greet friends by making a note on FB's friend's wall.
Permissions:
☆ Scan contacts (READ_CONTACTS). When the user initiates, the gadget scans the phonebook contacts.
☆ Scan file from external storage (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). There is an option to restore previously saved gadget-managed data from the file.
☆ Save the file to an external storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). Save the data processed in the gadget to the file.
