Wunderbar! Exactly what I needed. I especially love that in settings you can tick off data you don't need so in my case I just need declination and gender not the meaning etc. Superb thanks to the creators for not corrupting this! ❤️
Great App! I am even using the Portuguese version of it, but the audio on this one isn't working!!! Text to speech keep failing. That would be great if you guys fix that!! Dankeschön!
I thought this would be really helpful for my German lessons. Unfortunately, THIS APPLICATION HAS NO ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS FOR ALL THE WORDS. You have to search German words, and you get their definitions in German. It is, quite literally, a German dictionary. Not at all what I needed, however, I'll come back once I have a better grasp of the language.
I have been using it for years. A must-have for me. Great explanations, the origin of the words is also given which is very interesting, another plus is the translation of words in other languages (English included) in the section below... Thank you!
A wonderful German-to-German dictionary with (in lots of cases) simple short translations in other languages including English. Looks like an offline version of Wiktionary.
We should be able to change the default language. Meaning that I want to translate german and search german words but the other titles like synonims, verbs, example etc should be in english so I can understand which is which. It's a pity cause I already have the english version of this dictionary and I use it all the time. Please give us this option
Excellent dictionary. Has meaning, synonym and examples in Deutsch. If this not enough, it has also translations to many languages. Everything in a single page. This best Wörterbuch I found.
best Dict app ever!! though the pronunciation button when clicked starts reading everything. I strongly recommend it, especially for those who have problems with Nomen Artikel.
Missing so many modern words, I'm forced to switch to other german dictionaries or search online. It should be updated. But not bad overall.
Installed went to open it and all I got was a message saying it was unable to launch. Nope. I won't fight with an app right from the start. Doesn't work? There are no second chances of waiting for it to be fixed.
This is a really great dictionary . practical with a lot of examples.
Concise but complete, it is easy to change the searched word (without annoying pop ups) and it has translations to common other languages.
The best free German dictionary ever, especially for beginners with German language. It provides gramatical examples as well as text examples of almost any word that exists in German language.
Amazing app. Have you considered developing the Russian dictionary app? Out of the available languages that open their corresponding language app, Russian is the only one without its own dictionary. We'd greatly appreciate that :)
No conjugation of verbs (only few basic forms, which wouldn't hello not even a German). Navigation in the app is difficult.
Very useful and informative dictionary, but you cannot search for words in English, only German-English. Is there any possibility to add the feature of searching for a word in another language to find its meaning in German?
I found the dictionary very easy and practical , it can be much more better if it can also include idioms and catch words.
I usually don't turn off Internet connection when I study German to avoid any distraction. And this come very handy in that situation. Fast, nice UI, great database. What else more I could ask for?
