German English Dictionary

This is exactly what I was looking for: a straight-forward dictionary with accurate pronunciation. I installed and uninstalled two others before finding this one, and it's perfect! Thank you, Marko Devcic.

Very good app! Works perfectly offline, even for very obscure words; they come with sufficient example sentences for the med. to advanced learner (beginners might sometimes wish for more). You don't have to set from which language you want to search but searches both, which is very convenient as it gets it right in 99% of the cases. Only in the remaining 1% one sometimes wished one could set the language.

I am a free user of the app for 4 months: Easy to use, many examples, many alternative translations, covers much much more than the basic vocabulary, user can type the english or the german word and the app will find it in both cases, provides the other basic forms of a word eg. plural form of the nouns or past tenses of the verbs etc. But most importantly, you can use it offline: LIFE SAVER Thank you for this tool and please don't change a thing just add more words.

Very good dictionary. It explains every word you type in with different sentences. Very easy to understand

I just installed this app. I read almost passable german-english apps before I settled on this. But I must say that I am a bit disappointed with the translation from Germany to English. I was interested in transla of FERNWEH was transla synonymous to WANDERLUST. I beg to defer. The later is a tourist wish for a short 1 or2 wks adventure away from home; whereas the former is a feeling of aches and pains for longer travel time to strange land from the suffocating home. My rating may chg in time

Easy to use App BUT I am getting pornographic ads inside! I have a screenshot of the ad if the developer wanna check it. Update: Marko Devcic the developer of the app has blocked the inappropriate ad in less than three minutes after emailing him with a screenshot of the ad. The app is amazing, i recommend it to everyone, I owe much to this app through my journey to learn German ✌️🇩🇪❤️🍹

I am new to German and simply wanted to make sure "the girl" is "das madchen" and not der or die but it comes up with everything but that. not good for learning German but good for looking up ONE SINGLE WORD at a time. I'll keep trying to use it and may keep it for offline emergencies when in Germany. Maybe I'll get used to it and come back to give a better rating but so far this isn't helping me. The google bar in my phone is much more helpful

It's English-German actually, and switching input language doesn't help. UPD: ...for voice input. Oxford en-de dictionary has the same bug, though.

As I have been using the free version for as long as I've been living in Austria, whenever I needed a word I couldn't think of this app helped me out (as long as I could think of the English word). I appreciate the amount of Austrian dialect words on here, really helps me out!

Proved super useful during a recent trip to Germany and Austria. Simple and effective user interface, I'm here today looking to see if there is a French version.

i loved this app.i was in the hospital for my labor and i had no internet there. this app not only helped me to translate also shows how to use a German word in a sentence.

I can not download it. It is downloading until 99% after that it is stop.

This app is helpful but there was some words that i searched and is not there. Otherwise, i like this app.
