While memorizing words, the frequency of lesson is more important than duration of each lesson. 10 minutes every day during a week will be more productive than one hour lesson but once per week.

Word pronunciation by native speakers Our app will help you master pronunciation of German words! Each word is recording by professional native speaker! Additionally, in the settings you can choose between male or female voice.
Dynamic lesson difficulty The app changes lesson difficulty gradually as you progress. To achieve this, it keeps stats for EVERY word! Example: in the spelling mode, initially you need to insert several missing letters in a word, then create a word having extra letters and finally, when you are ready, you will need to type the entire word on the virtual keyboard.
Modes for quick learning App includes four additional lesson types which are made of favorites, difficult, old, random words. You can add any word to your favorite list and later create custom lesson from your favorites. Words are automatically added to "difficult" (the ones you struggle to memorize) and "old" (which you have not reviewed for a long time) sections. A "random" mode will create a unique lesson.
Additional features Thanks to your reviews, we are constantly updating app to make it better! To help you take care of your eyesight, with just one tap, you can activate night mode. If temporarily you do not have internet access, no problem! App can work offline as well!

It's a really useful app, but there are some problems. The first is that the autoscroll on the page with themes distracts me. The second is that I always make typos and don't click on the stop button in time. It's not convenient to have this autocheck, just a button "check" would be enough.
Initial impression: It is a well-designed app with good pictures and the words present are useful in daily life and are neither too easy nor too hard to learn. I will update my review as I keep using it.
It's fun, educational, & interesting to know how similar some english words to their german counterparts & the slight differences pronunciation. I've enjoyed this app. Thanks for the fun! Sadly I've come the end, I've completed all the lessons. I feel I have more to learn & work on remembering what I learned.
It is one of the best apps by the ease of its gui and the simplicity. Quite interesting to be free though. It really helps by 3 different applications of improvement in both, imaginative, auditive and vocab. Yet i'm facing a problem lately that the images on the word cards are not shown. Tried to clean the cache of application didnt work at all and now i'm gonna try to save my progress somehow and reset the app. Fingers crossed :)
Very cute app that's great for building vocabulary. I really like that it challenges you in three ways. Memorization, listening comprehension, and spelling. It really solidifies the words in your head. I like that you can choose which option to focus on most. For me, spelling is definitely the hardest. It's easy to navigate between the three learning options. I will be continuing to use this app to help build my German vocabulary! :)
I like the way this app was made. You don't have so much energy, but by watching ads (by the way, ads are not intrusive) you can make your energy recharge faster, in the meantime you can take a break, for some reason I can remember the words Im learning, even if i wait until i get back energy (even after 24hrs). The app is like a game so its also giving me a sense of achievement. It worths a try. I like it, it also have other languages besides english, i use it with romanian.
I tried so many language apps but this one exceeded my expectations! No invasive ads and free access to all lessons. The energy system is really generous, and the paid version is brilliant: there are 4 options to unlock infinite energy/coins, and they're much more affordable than other language apps (and they're all one-time payments, too! I couldn't believe my eyes). IMHO, it's the best app to build vocabulary so you can start reading and listening to German.
Simple but very useful training. The nouns come with articles, many useful verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Its human voice also helps me to repeat the words. If they have listening or speaking lessons, that would be fantastic but if you want to remember words, this is absolutely a handy tool and free! Lastly, recently I have a technical problem with the app, and the team patiently treated the issue and solved it. I am so thankful for their effort.
Excellent, a really good app. Not too slow and not too hard. Really well designed in many ways. Still linear but the three different discipline routes make it much less so than others. As always with these app a way to put words in a sentence could be good, maybe it doesn't work with this type of learning. The exams are hard due to failing if just one wrong, but maybe a bit easy in terms of the easy word choices from the lessons in them. The one mini game is good, maybe one about conjugation
Wow. So bad. From the very first (signup) page, nonstop distracting sound effects/music & flashing buttons. On the home screen none of the icons are labeled, but only explained via the walkthrough. Problem with the walkthrough? More flashing "next" buttons! It teaches the spelling and pronunciation of words in completely separate modules. If you teach me a word without the correct pronunciation I'm going to have to assume & I'll be wrong. Bills itself as a game, not a language learning app!
Amazing Learning App! This vocabulary app offers input (visuals, audio) and output (spelling, picking word that matches the audio). It doesn't just push you to the next level if your successful once. It tells you the percentage you got correct & how many times you have practiced the skill. There's skill exams for each set of vocab. For example, I'm in set 2 reading & hearing, but set 1 on spelling. This let's u see your individual strengths & weaknesses so you can adjust your learning goals.
I'm really enjoying it so far, and it seems a good way to learn the language. I use it with German books for beginners and it works well. My only suggestion would be to have optional timers on the questions, as sometimes being timed makes learning more stressful and some people (like me) get flustered and make mistakes. I'd like to be able to choose to do tests without a time limit. Otherwise, it's a good app and the ads are not too intrusive. Thank you for making it! It's very helpful.
This game is exceptional. It helps beginners start learning German in a well-paced manner that introduces the key 'ingredients' for your german stew. The only thing I would ask the team to add is sort of an advancement test, so that if you are roughly familiar with the German language, you may start at a higher level rather than build your way up. And perhaps a 'Skip Tutorial' button during the tutorial. Danke!
The application is good in general especially the words and listening parts, but the writing part is really bad. I have to repeat the exam many times from scratch just because I mistyped one character. I would understand that I should get a lower score (lower stars) but not totally repeating the exam and not passing that level! On the other hand, at least one of the words does not have the correct article. I am not professional in German to know about all words but this one I checked in Duden.
Very irritated by the choices or non choices. I was forced into a test I wasnt ready for and couldnt get back to a section I hadnt learned yet. Extreme difficulty with the exceedingly slow and small qwerty keyboard. I took test after test after test because if u dont get it perfect, u cant advance. It was hard to type and hard to read. U can take test and get 2 stars but if u have typing issues and dont get 3 stars, you cannot go to another pod to learn vocab. I'm deleting!!!!!
It's easy to learn new language through this method... it's more simple way to remember the words. For us to learn as beginners. I hope the team can do better and best. Thank u.😀
Excellent practice app. Repetition is an extremely well done feature done with a considerable degree of thought and experience.
Been learning German and the app I've found easy to use and very good. Lessons are constructed in a way to make it fun. My wife is German and been listening in on the lessons. Says 99% of the translations and grammer is right. Which is a lot higher than most teaching and translation apps. Well impressed and will be trying the other languages available.
Very well designed, great pictures and pronunciation. It's very fun to play, I quickly memorize the flashcards and with practise pick up the pronunciation and spelling too. Each set costs Energy, with many ways to recharge including speed rounds. Actually a very motivating feature to get you back to studying without overloading yourself. My favourite language learning app yet tbh. A lot of testing and analysis went into making this as easy to learn as possible Thank you devs for making this free
An excellent app with great emphasis put on the article of each word makeing it so much easier to remember when using the words. If everyone did as much to help people learn, it would be far easier and people wouldn't be put off of learning! Many thanks to the maker/s of this app.
Really enjoy the random selection of reviews, however I prefer the splash screens (with the pencils & reminders) to stop showing up after each session. .. it's annoying! Once a setting is established those screens shouldn't appear between sessions or every single time changing lessons. Overall, I appreciate the app and it's layout, danke!
I'm happy to say that this is one of the better language learning apps! I like the fact that it has a visual based practice, an audio based practice, and a quiz. I like the fact that it tells you what level of standardized German (A1, A2 ect.) you're on instead of you having to guess. Pretty good app! I like it a lot.

This application is amazing .. very useful in learning the German language and at the same time entertaining and does not make you bored, I advise all my friends to use this application to learn the German language quickly
Best app to learn words. Very interactive and teaches you to "write" the words, also doesn't make you tired from learning. There are ads in the app but they don't disturb the learning process. You can watch an add to get some coins or increase the energy available. Light and unobtrusive!
The voice for pronunciation is clear. That is very helpful as I don't have native German speakers to converse with.
Sehr gut. I just found this app. Im not beginner but have not so much chance to speak germans. This app helps me so much in learning new words. It also has reminding option 3times per day. So each i can spend from 10 - 15mins each time to learn while enjoy playing. Just finish level 1, waiting for energy bar refill. Well done! You did great job!!
Pretty nice app to easily work through a lot of varied vocab. It relies on you using it frequently but not for very long, which really helped solidify words in my mind. Only thing it lacks is grammer or forming basic sentences (unless that happens later in the lessons). Oh and I guess some of the word choices in sections are weird. You'll learn stuff like beret, paint in, and moustache, but not shoe, to be, or eye, at least until later. Priorities are a little weird.
