The dictionary itself is very good; actually one of the best. But in my opinion some extra things can make it better. -Unlike the iOS version no flash card is implemented here. -The word's meanings are dominated by utilizing black color and I find it easier if some info would have been colored. - The email provided in this page does not work. - It would have been nice if the verb tables were also added. - The definition of "Abkurzung" is in an odd place. Again the iOS app did it better.
The best German Dic. ever. And I tried too many...I would recommond it to anyone who is looking for a monolingual Dic app which offers a very clear and learner-friendly definition of the words AND tells you where, that is to say, in which context you can use it.
It is a very good dictionary, but I don,t know and don't understand how does it work in laptop and windows 10? And other problem for windows 10. I try troughs Mikrosoft stores this app for my laptop to buy, but in billings form I can't change the name of the country. It is now united state, but my adress is germany. What can I do?
Since the last update, the word of the day widget doesn't update.
APP-Fehler: Amazon reports this app Not from Google PlayStore: exit. Launch from Playstore with OPEN: ditto. exit EU must require Amazon to cease and desist. Now Slovoed demands 27$ US to reinstall the DaF app that refuses to OPEN any longer from within the Google Playstore on Fire tablet yet launches fine on Asus tablet from the PlayStore but a Fire tablet IS a re-branded Asus tablet, is it not ?

Hello, I have just spent almost an hour trying to download the databases for vocab as well as the pronunciation. I have written to Support, waiting for their reply. I'm tired and disappointed. Gosh! I should add rating!
This dictionary is fun to use and very convenient. I wish the flashcard app it's paired with were better, but this dictionary deserves five stars anyway.
The widget text size is too big, should be customizable or follow the device density.
In my opinion it is a 'must have' for anyone using / learning German. Wholeheartedly recommended. Perfect content with a sleak software.
Very helpful way to carry an excellent dictionary around with you. Be good if search button not ' back'(HTC Desire) returned you to word search page.
As a dictionary it is great. It has all the definitions needed and makes more accessible over a paper dictionary. On the other hand, as an app (Android) it lags behind other options out there, many of them free of charge. The interphase is quite basic, you can not search for new words without having to go back to the main menu, no flashcards, etc. Things that can be found on the app description for ios. It is basically a digital paper dictionary. Hopefully will improve their UX soon.
