The game is a functional, faithful implementation of German Whist. The big difficulty with reviewing any app based on an existing game is whether one reviews the game or the app. My philosophy is to review the app. If you hate German Whist, you likely will not care what review I give it. If you like German Whist, you only need to know whether the app will let you play it. After several weeks, I have noticed no major bugs or crashes. The graphics are simple, but are all that is needed. The A.I. plays a reasonably strong game (at least for my limited skill level). Yes, luck plays a large part in the game, but that is the nature of the game, not that app. I only have one basic quibble. Since in real life, it is impossible to enforce the rule about following suit in the first part of the game, it is often omitted until phase 2. It would be nice if that were an option in the game.
The cards are too small
This game does not take much strategy to be able to win.
Good game to practice card counting.. opponent's strategy is relatively good.. for me, it's a good entertainment
