Get It Done San Diego Official

Useless, nothing gets done! Put in problem on traffic light not working and has been closed 5 time and never fixed. Vehicles have to run a red light in order to get through intersection and that's an acceptable risk for the city. I guess it's a great money maker for the city to issue traffic tickets, until they are sued for gross negligence! Can't get a resolution here, news media interested in it. And city traffic department gets credit for repairs it never made, phoney statistics!

Reporting through this app makes almost no sense. I reported tons of potholes and faded street signs - all reports were closed as "fixed", but absolutely nothing has been done! They do though address illegal damping and overgrown trees, but this takes ages.

cool app from user side, would be nice if there was any kind of visible participation on the recipient side (the city appears to rarely utilize this app or respond). so it's a great idea on paper, but the reality of getting them to do anything is still just a pipe dream. one critique i have of the function of the app is the ability to edit reports and remove when circumstances have changed so they don't continue to clog up the "to do list" for the city

Generally pretty good app. The only reason I give it less than 5 stars is that at some point all my past tickets disappeared from my history (I didn't change phones or email info either) and what the city does with the tickets is or isn't effective depending on what it is. They are very responsive to broken sidewalks that are trip hazards (presumably to avoid personal injury issues) and also traffic lights that are broken, out, or knocked in the wrong direction. Other things are near useless (reports of parked vehicles that are blocking sidewalks, etc.) probably depending on things like the lack of availability of a patrol officer in the area to come ticket the vehicle, which is a low priority I'm sure. So, the effectiveness of this app for that sort of thing is not very good. Otherwise, it's a decent app since citizens are the eyes on the ground for the city.

The worst. Tickets closed without the work being done. Government and public works make every excuse to not work on reported issues that are against laws on the books. Don't use this app, it is a waste of time, just like our taxes are wasted on government employees that push paper and don't do the work.

App immediately crashes when trying to open on Pixel 6 Pro. Shame since it used to work on my Pixel 3XL. Please fix!! 3/21/22 - Update to say app now works!

This app should be on every San Diego resident's phone to help communicate with our city government. The app works well EXCEPT that it does not attach a photo if it is taken via the Get It Done app. If I separately take the picture than attach it through the app the picture is submitted. I have an Android phone. This appears to be a bug in the app.

Awesome App! Most of the reports that I submit are regarding infrastructure and wheelchair access and failing roads and sidewalks and storm water and illegal dumping and encampments in my zip code. I really appreciate the respect and resolve from the City and the Mayor has been awesome with his efforts to deal with the failures of infrastructure and pot holes and this is a great way to inform the City officials of the common problems that our individual communities experience throughout the City

I've got homeless people living outside of my house on the sidewalk and broken down cars parked outside of my house. I can't park near my house. Submitted requests 2-3 months ago. Nothing has been done. Take a look at the map on the app. There are reports on there that have been open for YEARS! Pretty pointless app to use in my opinion. What a great copy and paste response from the app developer. Top notch job there guys!

This app used to be decent but then they changed it to just be a front end for a web site. I am not sure if it is just such a poorly designed UI or that it has so much junk that my privacy blockers on my phone make it unusable. I couldn't even complete a report in the app. I ended up filing a report on the web site over 2 weeks ago -- and there has been absolutely no activity, it is still sitting uncompleted. Previously I opened a graffiti report on 3/11/2021 it wasn't closed until 4/15/2021.

Does not allow reporting of a parking issue. I installed it per the suggestion of the San Diego Police dispatch line. I wanted to report a vehicle parked in from of a fire hydrant. We live near a canyon, so delays in hooking up to a hydrant would likely be a problem. So, I hung up, loosing my place in the wait cue and installed the app. Somebodies need to coordinate the app and dispatch line messages.

I downloaded the app I have written them told them about issues and problems they would write back and say it was already done and it Hasn't been done..... They need a team of people to get the application to work correctly and then they need to not get back to us with a lie... They don't follow through they will say something is done when it's not done..... I reported many potholes never have the potholes been fixed,..... It's been many years now still they have not been fixed.

Much better than it used to be. Response for some categories is good, but still non existent for others. They refer a lot of things and when they happens it usually means it won't be addressed. Often things get marked as closed even when the problem hasn't been corrected.

This app works the way San Diego expects it to work. I love that I can see the work orders that have been complete. It is useful for a number of issues such as potholes, bridge damage, squatters or envampments and or parking violations. Extremely useful app.

Not sure why this Parking site is not open. We have an abandoned car up on jacks in front of our home. It was reported Sunday verbally. Now the site is down. Parking enforcement drives by without stopping. What does Covid-19 have to do with stopping enforcement. Now we have to wait until Aug1? Not impressed with service.

Awesome app. After the August expansion, the City has really improved their service. My graffiti was removed within three days, and street lights replaced within a week. Thank you San Diego!

app does not submit. I put in all the pertinent info for a parking violation and nothint happens when I tap submit. edit 6/6/19: APP STILL DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO SUBMIT!!!! FIX THIS. Android Samsung S8 plus

Worked fine for years. Now has stopped working. Uninstalled, reinstalled... won't open. Not sure it's and app issue or my phone.

Useless for pothole reporting. They just mark requests as complete without doing any work. The roads are in terrible shape and the city just doesn't care.

Worst app ever. I even sat on a panel for 3 hours (for free... to give the city feedback) millions of dollars in "upgrades" and the damn GPS STILL doesn't work!!! Wonderful tax dollars not working for the communities they were designed for.

12/18/2019 - Update - the app seems to have been fixed Dec4, and is working again, back to a 5 star rating. . . 11/29/2019 - Fails to run on my S9+. This app used to run on my venerable S4.

Too complicated and I get error messages frequently. It needs to be simple like YourGov for people to actually use and YourGov still collects enough info for the city to handle the request.

The application kept timing out after about 2 minutes while filling in the text boxes. Could be my internet connection.

I love this app. You can report an issue in your city with a few taps. The issues are quickly resolved as well. Such a great app.
