What a swindle! Installed and used it for the first time today in Austin. The app got stuck trying to "determine driver arrival time". After more than 10 minutes of waiting, I called the driver, who apparently spoke no English and gave no answer as to why he isn't coming. Cancelled the ride, but was still charged a $5 "cancellation fee" for nothing!
I had an issue with this app working so I called customer service......let me say that again I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE! Other rideshare companies don't have customer service phone lines. I spoke to a human after leaving a message and getting a call back immediately. Havent gotten a chance to use the service yet but so far I'm happy!
Do not waste your time with getme. Rides are never available. The rides that are available are too far. The rides that are close are no longer available when you try to accept. The drivers don't get a ping for ride requests. It's a rat race to see who can get to it first. This company won't be able to survive. Use lyft or uber in Houston.
Tried using in Galveston after a cruise since Uber is not allowed. You would think with two cruise ships arriving in port at the same time, there would be drivers. Nope. Waited for 20 mins. Finally took a cab.
I requested a ride not even 8 miles away. Quoted me $38 to $53. Craziest ish ever. App deleted
Bad technician for the drivers. Every time come to accept the job, tells me the trip already taken. That's ridiculous. Been like that since they start and they won't solve the issue!😳
I tried to sign up as a driver , the webpage is not functioning correctly , It won't even let you sign up , I took the time to email them , they ignored my email . May be this company needs more funds to function as a ride sharing app
I've applied to this company and have failed to hear from anyone. Maybe they are doing too well to need another awesome, dedicated driver. Disappointed.
HARD WORKING PEOPLE WORKING THEIR WAY UP TO BEAT FRAUDS LIKE UBER. THIS COMPANY CAN DO MUCH BETTER IF DRIVERS DUMP UBER SINCE THEY ARE BEING ABUSED AND USED AND WORKING MORE HOURS AND EARNING LESS.
Your app never connects to drivers. It searches and searches and searches. Uninstalled.
The app is not letting me to sing in. Spent two days emailing the support, still not resolved.
This application always provided inaccurate pickup time which is just horrible to experience when you are somebody that has important things going on

The app needs major improvements.
I ordered a short list of items, including a small bag of dog food, trail mix and apples.Today is Sunday and I am currently stranded at an airport until Tuesday night. I have my dog with me, and just as I do, my puppy needs food. Anthony B accepted my request at 10:34pm. An hour later at 11:23pm I received a text asking what kind of apples and trail mix. I spoke with this person on the phone and assured me his ETA was 30 min. Received a cancellation text at 12:05am. Terrible service, never using again
Why would anyone want to enter their CC info into an app before they've even had the opportunity to check it out?

Not app, not site. Doesn't works.
I used their service for a new years ride that was only 9 miles long. They ended up charging me $90.00 for the ride. They say that they show an estimated trip charge which doesn't actually happen. They do not disclose the rates at the time of service and just assume that you are going to be ok with whatever they are going to charge you. DO NOT USE THEM FOR A RIDE SERVICE JUST CALL A CAB.
