A good experience overall despite some delays and confusion at the start. The boat/yacht was a good size with adequate space. The boat/yacht is better suited for group enjoyment as supposed to a 1:1 romantic experience as the decor and private room did not fit the visual standards prescribed on the website brochure. The only concern would be to take more seriously the current Covid climate and ensure the disinfection of the boat/yatch is completed adequately and in good time for the changover

I tried to accept a booking on this app but after multiple attempts it kept telling me that my credit card information was wrong. I called support and they told me that my security code was wrong but my Google autofill told me it was correct. After that I went to the website, Google autofilled everything again and it worked. Seems to be a problem with the app. I love the idea but the app needs more work. I used the Android app.

GetMyBoat is by far the best boat charter online booking site.

Their customer service is very slow and ineffective. The app itself is ok but filtering often does not work properly and the UI is not great. In about another year, I imagine a lot of the issues will be worked out but right now it feels very much like a beta.

I booked a pontoon boat with a jet ski for one day. The owner was having issues with the pontoon, understandable. Owner gave us 2 jet skis for the price of one with extra time. Upon contacting getmyboat for my refund, their constant excuse was that they couldn't get in contact with the owner. I was able to pick up the phone, text or call and he would get back to me. Took 2 weeks for them to get in contact with him after he told me he had done so. Save yourself the trouble and rent from marinas.

Absolutely worthless app. Paid and booked for two separate family outings for Labor Day weekend and both of my "booked/paid/confirmed" reservations were cancelled because owners are allowed to double-book and/or cancel if they feel like it. The first reservation was cancelled the night before we were to get the boat. The second was minutes before we were to pick up the jet skis. What's the point of making plans with this garbage? Lesson learned. Book with legit marina ops, which don't flake out.

You tried too hard to make it the Airbnb of boats. It should be the Craigslist of boats. There is nothing great about this app. Do a Google search and you'll get the same findings, except on the app you can't exchange personal information. You don't get a better deal because you're using the app because the app charges you a fee. Instead, do a Google search, contact the boat owners directly and then make a deal.

We had a reservation, but the owner did not have the boat when we arrived. This is probably one of the most disappointing experiences one can have with such service, yet the app does not allow to leave a review in this situation, when the owner did not provide the boat despite having the booking; no way in this app to warn others that the owner is so unreliable.

I tried this app once to rent out my boat, but NEVER again. STOP ROBBING PEOPLE! First they charge the customer 10% more than the normal price, and also sent me less money. For a 120€ boat rental, the customer pays 133€, and I should have received 107. Instead I received 82€ and they are saying it's my bank fees, which is NOT TRUE!!! I WILL PUBLISH ALL THE EMAIL CONVERSATION I HAD WITH THEM.

The app is responsive and fast, but some features are sometimes hard to find. For instance, text messages from the booking in progress.

I reserved a boat with more than a months notice. From other places I also rented a truck and two jet skis. Come the day of my trip and the guy that was supposed to rent me his boat just ghosted me. No messages, no explanation, just didn't respond. I know he saw my messages too because of read receipts. He cost me about $200 in cancellation fees and GetmyBoat isn't helping with them. They need to vet people better so that more people don't get screwed likey group did.

Easy to navigate and use, doesn't annoy with too many notifications, gets the job done with just enough detail to keep things simple. Thanks.

I book, paid and verified my identity. They suspended my account literally the day of my rental. No one mail prior asking for additional verification, can't call because there is no number. Horrible honestly. Also to clarify the suspension was because the card is on my brother's names. But they sent the rules after I paid, and after they asked me to verify. No link was sent afterwards for ~12 hours to reverify.

Constantly had inquiries declined because "no captains available," even after giving more than the 2 possible alternative dates and times and inquiring well in advance. I certainly believe it had nothing to do with accommodation and everything to do with racism.

This was a great boating app for the experienced and beginners alike. We were looking for a boat in VA Beach this weekend, and found the perfect one with a captain. We had a wonderful time tuning and swimming. We even saw dolphins and some rays! I highly recommend using this service for boating fun worldwide!

They first give you a confirmation that you are booked and good to go. After you make plans they send you a link to identify yourself with "persona" that is a huge hassel and just don't work. So to solve the problem they offer you to refund and cancel after you made all the plans. Amazing. Good luck.

Horrible! I paid full price and 3 days before the trip I was told that I had to pay extra. Now they are refusing to rerurn my money when I did not know about any extra fee and nobody contacted me until the deadline was met to get a 100% refund. Get On My Boat does not have what it takes to make customers happy.

I listed a pontoon on this site and after sometime I decided to quit renting it out. I have sent get my boat numerous emails to unlist my pontoon but they won't do it. If you are thinking of listing with them I would save yourself the trouble. Never got many leads through them.

Great app easy to use

I was total satisfied at the end of our journey. The Captain Santiago was a complete joy and cool guy. started on time. helped us board and we departed one time (4hrs). the ride was comfortable and relaxing. I definitely recommend this yacht and Captain.

Russ is a fun extremely personable great Captain. we could not have asked for a better afternoon on the water in the sailboat. Nothing was said about what we might see. we had no idea whales would be there and we saw several. 3 within 20ft of the boat. my wife and daughter had never been on a boat before and today was the absolute highlight of their summer and mine too. Thank You Russ for a great wonderful cruise. To anyone giving a cruise a thought with GetMyBoat memories will be made. Marc

Own a boat & rent it through here sometimes. Fee's are astronomically high (15%)! App is great but the cost is ridiculous. If the fees were reasonable I'd utilize it more & keep my prices lower.

There is no option to Update pictures on the application, also there is no option to add a second boat or even a third one. Please get this update out. Also how do I get paid for the services that I have provided to the customers? Definitely need to update your application. You are more than welcome to contact me and I will help you with the updates.
