I bought and paid for one Gettysburg app that did not work...at all. and couldnt get a refund. This app works amazing and it's free. definitely recommend
The app crashes immediately after installation and trying to open it on Samsung Galaxy Tab A. It won't work at all even with many attempts to restart and reopen.
Really nice companion to a tour but quite useful for resource material.
This app is awesome, especially considering that it's free. Highly recommended.

Crashes everytime you hit a button
Has quite a bit of good information. The field glasses do not work like they are supposed to.
App continually crashes. Tried on three different trips to the battlefield and it was absolutely awful. Maps keep dropping off and articles create a need to restart app more times than they work. Conceptually a great app that appears to have a great design. Serious work needed.
Does not direct you clearly from one vantage point to another. Hard to navigate even though I downloaded the map. Expected more audio than the sidebar clips provided. My 1996 vintage audio tour tape was more substantial. Would pay for a better app.
I have not played this game but I think that it's a fun game 😁
Says I should download the map. Force stops as soon as I try to download.
Finally I can study the battle of Gettysburg in depth.

Waste of time
I spent the last several days at the battlefield in Gettysburg. This app is an excellent tool to get the overview of the battle. The feature I like the best is the field glasses. This allows you to see what you are looking at, and labels it for you. You also have the option of taking a picture of what you are looking at with the labels appearing on the picture. Another great feature is that you can download the database when needed. I recommend this as some carriers have sketchy coverage.
Did not work. Kept saying I was outside GPS signal when I was directly on the Battlefield.
Love this app when at the parks. It really is so useful. Saves you having to purchase guides.
Educational, great app
Terrible execution. Doesn't follow android design guidelines, force closes A LOT.. Probably twenty times in the day... Map navigation didn't maintain a GPS lock, field glasses was cool but could use more points and coding fixes (screen flickers) and take picture didn't work.
It has some decent information, but the app is so buggy, slow, and hard to use that it's hard to find the info
App looks good & comprehensive. Will upgrade review, but unusable as is.

This is a great app for the price. While it doesn't cover the entire three day battle, the two areas it does cover are well documented. Some people that give it low marks forget how much occurred at Gettysburg vs. other battles. Thanks for a well coded, historically accurate, and FREE app.

It's missing so much.
worked great giving additional information while driving from place to place on the auto tour. had no prb connecting to GPS so we could see where we were on map. did not try field glasses.
