I think it should support 5ghz links as well as now a days every router we use has a 5ghz link which connects to our phones. And in situations like I'm right now where I can't set the router settings for some reasons it's not possible to connect it to the network and use Alexa. edit- it doesn't detect my wifi now no matter which frequency band doesn't show the SSID. If any developers are checking please solve these issues
It works kind of fine and acceptable for what it is. Normal expected behavior, nothing extremely fancy or unbearably annoying. Would like to see integration of Tidal Connect on the app and speaker firmware if possible.
I have been trying many times to connect the E3 speaker to the wifi, always get connected without internet. The 4.2 Wifi connection works fine. Blue tooth is connected. Very frustrated.
wouldn't connect to my super duper wifi! can only use with Bluetooth. just realised that this app will connect with my Alexa but not with the E3 device it's supposed to!
Complete cr_p. Worked for a while. Now, speakers won't connect to phone or WiFi. Don't buy. Massive waste of time.
Quick follow-up from support after compatibility problems with newer Android version. App has its quirks but it's a daily driver here.
Instantly crashes on all my Samsung/Android devices. Completely unusable. Still waiting for Developer response...and waiting...
Worked fine for months, then bluetooth won't work now wifi will not connect. Was a good speaker with alexa connection now junk!
Don't update after 2020 - in last version was removed option for adding TuneIn radio to favourite list and so on..
What happened to the TuneIn? stereo and app are awesome but TuneIn was the best part of the app.
Very bad app. Doesn't tell you how to connect to Bluetooth or Phone.
Not easy to use, v complicated. when open GGMM always have to add Divice, no any other function.
Nice speaker but a bit confusing app plus linking a Tidal account has bugs (if password contains the "%" character GGMM app reports empty password and not possible to link your Tidal account!)
latest update broken , stuck on update loop. old version was ok but now it's ruined . shame on them

Update Dec 2018: I have a E5, E2, and two E3s and have been using them for over a year. Recently they have started to involuntarily unshuffle my Spotify playlists. If I can't fix this it will be the last straw. Jan 2018: Still incredibly buggy. Several times a week I have to force quit and restart the app and/or cycle speakers off and on, and that's when I'm not making any changes to how they're linked. When it works, I absolutely love the functionality of having networked speakers.
Please add Deezer to the list of streaming services
Still can be a little slow at times and buggy with linking and unlinking multiroom set ups but there have been huge improvements over the last year. Loads the local phone library instantly where it used to take an age and playback is much more stable. I use Tidal and the integration is very good. I came from Libratone to GGMM and the app is much, much better here. The products for the price are great value and the application is being improved all the time. Please add the ability to set a music alarm on the E3. I can't believe this hasn't been done. Also the ability to switch inputs via the app without taking the speaker out of WiFi mide. that way I can transmit the auxiliary connection to a multiroom set up.
Among many bugs, one of the most annoying is that the speaker acts as a wifi repeater even when you don't want it to. When you switch this option off, the app turns it on again each time the speaker is turned on. Please pay more attention to the app, because the basic product (speaker) is very good.
