I bought 4 of these GGMM speakers to have sound in all 4 corners of my living room via WiFi connection. Used to work but now they will not connect at all with this app "update". Speakers are useless now. I can use only one in Bluetooth mode and that's it. Very disappointed. Please fix ASAP
M freedom on modern Android and I set it up in less than 5 minutes. Super easy, once the light is solid blue you are good. Not sure what all the complaints are about.
The apps always on Wi-Fi mode, even the speaker and the android phone both set to Blue-teeth mode. No use at all.
Does not work. Android user. Tried multiple times to connect. Even after the app congratulates me for connecting.... it still isn't connected.
Since a last update the app is completly unusable. I have m3 speakers and neither I cannot see them on the app nor add them as new. Please fix it!
Does not allow me to connect to my GGMM M3 via WiFi. This is frustrating because that was the differentiating feature on the speaker.
Very disappointed in this speaker as a whole. It sounds great but it will not connect to wifi! As it IS MARKETED!
Does still not work in my network. All other wifi speakers do. App crashing and no config or update possible.
The app is not working. Device cannot be connected by Wifi. Does anyone can help???
Difficult to connect. Constantly crashing. Not able to connect multi-room.
The app always crashes before I have a chance to do anything, thus completely useless.
Keeps disconnecting , if wireless is used for individual devices and multi devices
With new update, worse than before. It crashes as soon as app started
Very poor WiFi. Pity good speaker !
Crashing when starting.
Waste of time, not working
Need update or new app
the app works. BUT is veeery limited and buggy. for example if your router is set to channel 13 (eu) , the speaker will not see your network (guess it's the speakers problem, not app). you need to change the router channel. no support for any streaming service, Spotify, tidal etc. if you download a new song, you need to uninstall and then again install the app to discover a new song in your library 😂. just dump the app and use any good dlna app like bubbleupnp or similar. it will work.
I have an E3 and purchased an M box to explore connectivity. Negative! I have yet to figure out how to get the M box to work properly and it seems with TWO different apps, having music flow throughout my house will be a no go.
Can't seem to see the device in my device menu after multiple setup attempts. Cant play anything from my android phone. Also expirienced dropouts while attempting to airplay from an iPad.
Totally worthless. Never will connect after going into router mode even though the led is solid blue.
Unfortunately, the app is a let down and reduces the flexibility/usability of the excellent M3 speaker. The wifi mode is very buggy, hangs or drops off frequently. Need to stick to Bluetooth and ditch this app. Devs need to get this fixed.
Absolute Garbage. Can't connect to the internet to stream Spotify at all. Stay away from this company.
Terrible app. The speaker is great! Cannot stream anything to the M3 from Android, just from the computer. The Android app needs a lot of TLC!
can't turn the speaker off or on. Can't check the battery level. Can't change modes. Can't access dlna servers. Fairly useless.
Keeps crashing after the initial setup on Android Marshmellow
2 years later and still waiting for a update...
Update: the app can't configure WiFi anymore. You can still configure your device by connecting a laptop to the device wifi and opening the ip (was 192.168.78.1 for mine) in a browser. App: For playing there doesn't seem to be a way to queue songs (even after making a favorites list?) so it's mostly useful one off for creating sync groups or one off use. Of course once set up any other dlna player works, and the sync remains, and that is cool
