GHIN Mobile

If you make an error on a hole while playing a round there is no way to go back to the hole and correct the error. You have to adjust on the next hole to have a correct overall score. I like the screen view and graphics, however I will not renew my subscription due to not being able to correct the score.

It's an ok app, and could be an excellent app we're it available and functionally on Samsung Galaxy smart watch. Upgraded to premium, but still unable to use GPS on course with watch. Got it on phone...

After first use, I wish it would allow you to record putts also. I am disappointed that you have to pay to get distance to front and back of green. Other free apps I have used always include this as basic. I may consider switching back.

It's alright for the most part. Sometimes it is hard to enter your score because the app Seems to be super sensitive. I'll put in a score and find out it in some random score for the next hole. Sometimes I have to erase 3 scores to get back to the hole I am actually on.

Works well for me. GPS feature is nice. Would be better if course fully downloaded once, rather than every time when I open the GPS screen. Add caching to the course data.

I paid for course maps and just recently app started crashing whenever I download course maps... ive uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times without result. HELP! I often use the green putting profiles in the GHIN app.

The app won't open, it's saying there is a bug, but hasn't been addressed yet! Tried reinstalling with no luck.

Log in fails. Inexcusable. So now log in works but app shuts down after first hole / attempting to go to second hole. USGA is not ready for release of this app.

Continue to have technical problems. Fix they provided doesn't keep it fixed. Have to Uninstaller then install at least once a week.

Paid for Premium GPS App still asks me to pay. Now on my 3rd round - App keeps closing My Mobile network is good. When the app matures consider buying. I'm canceling

After updating, it tells me to keep updating. I have uninstalled and downloaded again, same problem. Useless.

Course is in nice shape. Greens just got sanded, so they are fast. Overall, good choice to play.

Locks up. Constant loading message. Inconvenient when on the first tee trying to check handicaps.

Stops working every 2nd or 3rd time I use it. Have to uninstall and reinstall to get it working.

What used to be the best free app out there is now AWFUL. The functionality is completely counterintuitive. The fonts are too small (making reading the date virtually impossible). Even the most basic function (posting scores) is difficult to do. This is a very big disappointment. With the new handicapping system and daily changes to handicaps using the app should be much much easier. Please bring back the previous version!

I really like the new GPS function. The map I used was accurate, easy to read, and easy to use. That being said while I used it for the first time I had a problem with the app constantly freezing. I know it is a new feature, but it was frustrating. Then when I pushed the review button at the end I got a white screen. Luckily after several minutes it reloaded. Hopefully this gets addressed in future updates.

Put it back. It used to be so easy. Search does nothing, even after reinstall. All of my favorites, which used to require two clicks to post, are gone. Took a full minute instead of two seconds to get to the post page. Did anyone try this from their home? The course I am trying to enter is eight miles away. Do I need to drive there so it appears on the list?

I wish I could like this app but it is extremely frustrating to attempt to use it. When you start the app, you only get distances and not the view of the fairway. If you go into scoring mode, and press the GPS icon, you then download the background fairway image. Why you can't download a course before you use it is beyond me. If you have a poor data connection, good luck because the app doesn't work at all. The app continually freezes when the phone goes into lock mode and you then unlock it. Sometimes if you wait until the next hole, you can get the app to function. But today, I just got a white screen and couldn't get it to work at all. It's nice to be able to add your data into GHIN while you golf but the problems with it, both in design decisions like no advance downloads, as well as the inoperability issues, to me makes this app useless and an embarrassment to the USGA. Galaxy S21. Android 11 with all current updates.

FIXED! It kept crashing during opening, with this message: "An error has occurred. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact technical support." Contacted USGA and they punted me to my state association, as if they'll have a clue (and they didn't). Samsung Galaxy S7 with up-to-date OS. Tried rebooting, re-installing, etc. FIXED! I uninstalled and reinstalled again, and then LOGGED IN WITHOUT THE LEADING 0 (123456, vs. 0123456), and now it works.

Great App, however it would be nice to have a little more flexibility to correct mistakes. I'm not always good about putting in my score on the same day as I played. Having the App default to the current day has resulted in me inputing my score on the wrong date several times. I would like to be able to disable the date default function to make me have to select/input the date before posting my score. Thanks.

probably the worst app ever created. much more complicated then the prior version. installed it 5 times and uninstalled it 4 times, and it would not recognize me, on the mobile version. finally got it to recognize me; and I worked for several weeks. now it has stopped recognizing me again. someone please fix this disaster.1 star since it there even if it is in limbo.
