The app will not connect to my self-hosted site. It just spins, no error message or timeout telling me what the issue is. I am using version 3.0, which may be causing the issue. I'm disappointed the app doesn't work.
App is really good but won't allow to edit Koening posts, which are the new "standard" way of writing posts. For now this app serves me to create early draft when an idea pops out of my head, then I have to later goes on my laptop, copy/paste the text I ti new editor and never go back to it from android. that's a bad UX dev's, please fix this :(
Same as every other self-hoster - it just hangs without ever connecting. Ghost itself works amazing with no problems. Just the Android app that doesn't work.
Won't connect to my website at all. The app sits there showing it is loading for a long time, then seems to give up. Self-hosted, version 3.4.0. I'm happy to troubleshoot with the Ghost team, because I otherwise love Ghost.
It won't connect to my blog. Self hosted. It just... loads continuously, with no end in sight. 😔 At least the mobile website works.
It's been a while and devs have still not found a way to edit Koenig posts on this app. Also, no option to access multiple blogs simultaneously.
plain, and flexible, yet modern and feature-rich! The app is awesome for drafting posts on the go.
please add support to manage more than one site. I author multiple sites which are built on ghost and this is very limiting that I can only manage one at a time. please consider this feature request.
I would love to leave a positive review, I love ghost it works well for me. This app will not connect to my self hosted blog for all the tea in China. If someone on the ghost team wants to get in contact I'm happy to troubleshoot
I have the ghost platform installed, and the app won't connect. Maybe it requires you have the version paid through them? If so, no.
Does not connect, just as described by other users. Are you guys doing something about it? The windows app is working fine.
Keep showing loader when trying to connect to my self-hosted ghost. I wish I can help, but I don't really know android development.
Apparently, it cannot be used for pre-existing sites. The wheel just keeps spinning forever when I enter my site URL.
Similar to other folks, trying to connect to my self hosted ghost instance it just spins and never connects.
I have been unable to connect to my blog from the app, and no web alternative for mobile editing is available.
Great app! I can write on the go if i need to! and I can see what posts have been made. All the stuff I need when I'm away from my computer
"This app can only open posts containing a single markdown card" - then it's not a fat lot of use to many i imagine...
Does not go past the blog url entry for my self-hosted instance. Just keeps spinning.
I use and love the Ghost platform but this app is quite useless with posts made with the Koenig editor.
Doesn't let me open any posts. Known issue they need to fix. Otherwise it is totally useless.
Solid blogging platform but the app needs to be updated to make blog posts written in the web openable.
I also can not get the app to connect to my self hosted blog. Disappointing.
The app does not let me change the design, e.g. modify navigation links.
Couldn't get past the 1st screen, always shows loading for my self hoasted blog
Doesn't work at all, broken app. Needs to be fixed.
Doesn't seem to work with my brand new 3.1.1 Ghost blog. I'll keep it installed and waiting for updates. If the devs address it I'll be sure to update my review!
This is beautifully done app. I just wish it was that regularly updated.
its a bit useless as you cant open posts which have more than 1 markdown card for some reason
Nothing. Entering our self hosted Ghost blog leaves app waiting forever. No next step, nothing
This app honestly was my getaway on the fly blogging platform. However since the introduction of ghost 2.0, I can't seem to edit my blog posts created in the webapp. Hope, this will get fixed in the next update. Update: Thank you for getting back to me. This problem can be fixed if you not use the card-based layout and instead create a single markdown card for blogposts.
