This app is poorly designed and has a steep learning curve. 1) You must enter a delivery address even for pickup. Even if you are out of delivery range. You can't checkout without one. If you are out of range it won't let you continue with your buy. 2) You can't edit your billing address. You have to call the 1-800 number to remove a card. 3) Last checkout screen has 2 "complete purchase" buttons. They aren't labeled. Hit the wrong one you get delivery.

Developer team should be fired and all thrown into the middle of the street. Can't get past a registration screen. If you try and add coupons it won't let you. Application crashes to even look what is on sale. I give this app no stars if that was a option. Edit 1 year later... After 1 year later I am finally able to use the application but barley. It is still very clunky and won't let you log in still but its a step in the right direction so I will bump it up another star for effort.

Was using Giant for years, but my patience has run out! I'm taking my money to Safeway or Walmart. Nothing convenient about this app or website. Too many bugs need to be fixed. Most times it takes HOURS just to submit an order since It's always crashing or just breaks when loading simple features like page navigation. The last update was Nov. 2021 so obviously GIANT doesn't care. The third party "Ship2Me" product ad's are ridiculous. If I wanted Amazon I'd use them. Keep it LOCAL. GoodBye GIANT!

This new version is HORRIBLE! It used to be so easy to add items to an order. I was able to fully access all the items, aisles, features/functions of the app & could view my "Shopping List" or search for items if I wanted to add something to my cart. Now, I have to select "Update Current Order" & am only shown previous purchased items. It's VERY complicated & limiting with the current version. If your goal was to ruin the app, you have succeeded. Please switch it back to the older version.

So frustrating and annoying. I hate how it makes me feel, like I'm struggling to get some food. I can't go from apps that work to this one. I'm only human. Make it smoother plz, more intuitive, like most app have us accustomed to. This isn't giving. Be well. Oh and make a way for users to put items seen on the circular in app into the cart. If you help people save easily, you will always have more customers.

It's a very nice looking app and has a lot of features, but you need incredible patience to use it. It's really glitchy and every click or scroll lags by several seconds. Also, it would be great if they would allow you to sort the coupons by what's newest. I have no desire to scroll through 200 coupons just to see what's new from last week, especially with the lag.

Emergency fix/rollback needed!!!! If you check out and then go back to add more items it is all but unusable. To add a single item requires a precise pathway with multiple extra presses, some taking 10 seconds to complete. It took a lot of trial and error to find the right way. Don't bother adding more than one of an item, odds are it will add the wrong thing. It is impossible to change the tip

I use the in-store scanners because I don't use the Scan-it app ( it requires using store wifi, which I prefer not to use). Still trying to figure out how to get coupons that are loaded onto my card to be incorporated into my purchase at checkout. Lots of difficulties using both the scan-it and store apps with little to no help on the apps. Very frustrating. I think you can do much better to make these apps more user-friendly....also, please consider combining the two apps into one.

it doesn't work at all, even after uninstalling & reinstalling. Ehen i try to log in. it insists i update profile info, then says it's having technical difficulties & takes me back to the log-in page. Repeatedly. It was good when it actually let me use it. **Adding that it eventually started working again after a few days - not for any particular reason I could see. I like the ability to pull up the code for your card on the app to scan in the store.

The app, the shopping and delivery experience have improved significantly since the beginning of the pandemic. Now the grocery cart syncs up between the devices. Giant is rarely out of items, so all the items I order get delivered. The delivery arrives on time. If I choose a long delivery window, they are very good at notifying me about their ETA via email ahead of time. The 2 things that can be improved is 1)app and website performance 2)availability of the same items as at the local store.

Buggy, clunky, slow. The basic task of selecting a store does not work. It will show one store on the main page, a different one on select page. Slow response, cart list does not show the isle, you have to open each item to see the aisle. Using the shopping list instead corrects this, but originally three shopping list would just spin and not add the item to the list, so i avoided it. This seemed to fix itself eventually. Clearly this app was developed in a vacuum with no actual user feedback.

The new version of the app makes it unusable for me. The app was changed to focus on building a cart to place an order. It no longer has the functionality to build a shopping list to use when visiting the store. The website was changed in the same way which makes them both unusable for me. The response from the developer doesn't make the app usable. The focus is on online ordering from the store.

The recent patch to add the multi cart experience was a bad idea and should be rolled back immediatly. It is no longer possible to easily add tems to the cart using past purchases, and continue to see what was added. As others have stated, this makes the end user experience much worse, The Grant grocery app was fine until this last update. Roll back this horrible change now.

Super glitchy -- like many I was pushed over to this with the shift away from Peapod. Peapod's app was sometimes unreliable but this app is worse. The search bar disappears!!! Also I'm trying to order from a shopping list (which the new system seems to steer you away from but is the thing I like most about thew app) and there list won't appear. Please fix!! A year later and I hate this app even more than ever. Giant made it HARDER to add items to your order? What, you don't want my business??

It's not easy to use. If you add a way to log out, i might give it 3 stars. Also, fix the confusing interface. Why is there a separate menu button that blocks the bottom of the screen? The menu pull down should be on the upper left like every other app. The back button on the phone doesn't do anything. Come on. You haven't updated this app in 9 months.

Uninstalling app. New version completely removes any functionality of original app. Can't create a shopping list or even clip coupons, whole thing is a shopping cart now, instead of being a tool to use while grocery shopping. Heck, app no longer even acknowledges the store in my town and wants me to use a store an hour away. Should have left well enough alone. Update: your reply completely ignores the fact that you took a working shopper's aid app and turned it into just a shopping cart.

Everything moves too much and the menu button at the bottom center is really intrusive. The coupons and weekly offers don't load to my shopping list, and I can't make a full shopping list with prices because it only showed things that have coupons/offers. I wish I could load the Giant prices into my regular shopping list app. This falls flat for me.

This new app is terrible. It's really slow. On the old app I could select items from the weekly ad and they were put on my shopping list. Now I get a button that says Shop Now and it goes nowhere. I tried to create a list. After naming the list I wanted to add Coke to the list and the list couldn't find it. It seems that Giant wants to move to delivering grocery . That is what the app is for. Maybe I'm missing something but so far the app is useless for me. This new app is terrible.

My store (st Germain Centreville) is no longer listed in the app. Very strange. How can you not know where your stores are? Why can't I click to circle the items in the ad anymore to add to a list. It just opened product description which is useless. This update is terrible. The ad is so slow and useless now, I'll just uninstall and shop of Wegmans.

This was initially a 4 star app . I've never understood why developers constantly feel compelled to "improve" apps/sites that work fine as is (my theory is boredom - they just dont know what else to do with their time). With all the marketing research, you'd think they finally figured out that customers DON'T WANT CHANGE - they want FAMILIARITY!! I'm now having trouble with my dig coupons and they removed a very convenient feature altogether. Safeway has now just become my primary go-to store.

Keep getting thrown out of the app after 10-15 mins & have to restart... over & over. Then you need to find where you left off. App is extremely slow. Can't add items to shopping list by selecting from sale ad anymore. With pickup orders there are so many items that are supposedly in stock when ordering at night & then out if stock the next day when picking up. Obvious inventory management issues. Tired of never knowing what I'll get. Wish they included all items from deli for order.

I love shopping at Giant, the people that work there are the friendliest and most helpful, stores are usually clean and well stocked with good selections. While their original app was not the most flashy it was useful and I used it every week to assist in my shopping. This updated app is the worst thing Giant has done yet. They took a simple useful tool and made it into a cumbersome monstrosity. Gone are the easily made shopping lists and easy navigation. I no longer use the app for anything other than my Giant card. It made me so frustrate that if I did not enjoy the people at my Giant I would probably have stopped shopping there all together. I feel this is all in an attempt to push their horrible Peapod service.

The register option couldn't find me because my number was too short and didn't start with a 44. I read the number directly off my keyring card. I don't have time to sit on hold and troubleshoot for 45 mins. Sorry, but this is too inconvenient to waste any braincells on. Plus, even tho every Giant in my area has the new curbside pickup, they aren't available/listed in my state apparently, and that's the only reason I was going to use this app

Up until last week I have only experienced success with this app. I enjoy the convenience of scanning my giant card from my phone and the extra $5 off coupons from time to time. Twice this week as I tried to use the digital coupons from the giant app during check-out, the coupons did not go through. Turns out that sometimes coupons take 30-40 MINUTES processing time in order to redeem and that there's no override or manual way to get the discounts. Left the store wasting time and no discount :(

This app is the absolute worst... It is so incredibly slow, gets locked, and doesn't reset. It's almost as if the more items you add the slower it is.. giant could definitely do better. Also several items are missing.

Difficult updates to App. I like the store, but some of the updates have been clunky. My biggest problem has been using the "print view"option in building a list from my android. Consistently, the "Click or Clip" coupons that I select don't stay or are not taken at checkout.

The app worked fine for me until there was an upgrade. After the upgrade I found myself logged out. I tried to find the login button to no avail. I attempted to sign up again only to be told that my name, email, and phone was already in the system and I need to sign in. How in the hell can I sign in if there is no sign on button anywhere in the app. Thanks to this horrible upgrade I now have to manually enter my phone number at the checkout line in order to continue getting discounts.

Good for checking prices, deals, and getting discounts but I wouldn't use the pick up or drop-off features. They tend to have problems processing orders and payments

I hate Giants Flex rewards program! It would be so much better if all the points you earned this month expired at the end of the following month! I also hate that if you have grocery rewards they automatically redeem! I would like to choose when they are redeemed!
