Ever since the latest the app continually logs me out and has issues when I try to log back in. When I am able to get logged back in it may not populate my Advantage card properly.
It's a shame this app never scans at the pumps! Really frustrating. Never have this issue with the Sheetz app. Fixed, thanks. 5 star now
Horrible... tried purchasing an egiftcard and took the $$$ but no card, said I'd receive an email with the card info & its been 2 days. Also trying to sign in is ridiculous. Had to reset my PW 3x & it still doesn't work. Set my "home" store a dozen times & keeps changing it to a store 24.6miles from where I'm located. Deleting this worthless app & sticking 2 giving my business 2 Sheetz. Keep my $25 egiftcard GE cus that's the last bit of $ you thieves will EVER receive from me! Good day, sirs...
If i could give this app negative stars I would. Every time I tried to order food it kick me out. Tried ordering on the mobile website, similar results.
I am tired of the app signing me out, then when I get back in my gift cards are gone.
App takes forever to load. Also, everything is better priced at Meijer
When I choose an item and then go back to the main page, it takes forever, also several times when loading a description of a product. Also on several occasions I get halfway or more finished shopping, and 5he cart reverts back to 0 items, and I have to start all over. It may save from having to go into the store, but it definitely doesn't save on time.
The app is great for e-gift cards. However, it constantly forgets "saved" credit card information, making you enter the information for every purchase. It crashes if you exist the app and go back into it. Recently it tells me "something with wrong. Please check you connection." even though the connection is okay. Too many bugs for a company of their size. I guess that is why they are always hiring web and app developers! Please fix the issues immediately. I look forward to your reply.
It is great to see my fuelperks balance & check coupons. But this is the worst functioning app I have had. Most of the time it has to restart itself because it fails to load - so I have to load it twice before accessing it. And then when it does load, sometimes my profile does not show so I have to click the profile icon and it restarts again. There are much better apps for other grocery stores (Meijer for example). This app needs overhauled to keep up with the competition and not be frustrating
What a waste of time. I downloaded the app while in the store so I could use a few ecoupons that were advertised next to the products. The app would not allow me to clip any of the ecoupons. It just spun and then told me there was an error again & again. This happened on every coupon I tried to clip. Customer service was not able to help me but informed me I wouldn't have been able to use the ecoupon that day anyway because you have to clip the e-coupon 24 hours before you use it. Disappointing
The ecoupon feature doesn't work well. I clip it & doesn't register at the cashier. I have bring it up on my device & show it to the service desk to get the discount. Congratulations, GE! You've actually made your app worse! Can't find coupons anymore. Can't zoom in locations on map anymore & when you try, it changes the zip code & focus & minimizes again. Aggravating!
Doesn't add your ge gift cards to your wallet... Also this has got to be the worst design for an app icon I've ever seen. There's two logos you gotta put in there, that's fine, but why did you contain them horizontally in a non rectangular shape, and then put three times the amount of space of the actual logo of a blue gradient around it? Did the people who designed it not have smart phones? Look at everyone else's icon, simple and easy to read at a distance. Clipart looking head
I have attempted to use the Android app multiple times. Each time that I hit "place order" the screen goes white and nothing happens. When I restart the app it completely forgets all of my information including my saved store and orders that I was working on. It's really a waste of time and unfortunate because the company is losing orders due to this app.
The ordering part of the app has not worked for over 2 months. I can't place any orders from the app and have to use the get-go website which then takes over 20 minutes to do anything.
App used to be pretty good. Recent upgrade (not!) is really bad. You shouldn't have to search for previous functions. Now I have to hunt for my clipped ecoupons. Makes building your shopping list off of the clipped ecoupons a real pain. Even tried narrowing the coupon list to clipped coupons and still get full list of ecoupons. Please fix this!!
Not functional for what I would like. The Kroger app is much better. It allows you to create lists with store specific aisle locations and curbside pickup orders in app. It also allows you to see a list of applicable items for selected coupons. This app basically does nothing except clip coupons.
When I first downloaded the app I really liked it. For some reason I can no longer use most of the things they say. I can't look at the weekly ads, make a grocery list, more often than not my clipped ecoupons don't get credited to my order yet they are deleted from the app, and several times I've lost fuel perks because It has wrong expiration date. Those were the only reason I decided to go ahead and download the app to begin with. I've tried uninstalling and installing still not working.

Very poor compared to features of two other grocery store apps I've used (Kroger and HEB) which has a comprehensive grocery list with filters that allow you to filter by add item or department and also has barcodes scanner that allows you to scan barcodes while in the store to add/remove items to your grocery list while showing you sale prices/regular prices and how long they will be on sale. You'd think designers would have looked at other grocery store apps and tried to be half as good.
The most recent version of this app is absolute trash. Used to be a decent app to see your perks, buy and manage gift cards, and clip coupons. They've taken upon them to ruin all of these features with limited and terrible user friendly interface navigation. An inserted ad takes up the main screen for additional disappointment. I have purchased 2 gift cards from the app listed 2x perks and only got 1x perks, and on another recieved 0 perks on a gift card purchase. Watch out.
The mobile ordering system for Getgo is atrocious. Constantly get failed payments when I have the money in my account, tried two different cards, and its not my bank. Not only that, constant errors that result in my items not being appropriately saved in my cart! Get this fixed! Definitely makes me not want to get food there anymore.
I have had the app for over a year now. I have had login issues, as well as a lot of "something went wrong" error messages while using it. Most of that has not happened to me for some time now. However, the app does take a few minutes to launch, and can take a few more minutes to load the page you want when you try to navigate to say coupons / savings. My problem with it is how slow it is in general.
App either doesn't open or doesn't stay open. On the rare occasion that I'm able to open the app, when I go to my wallet I get a message that it's empty. Then I have to go thru the whole "trying to open" sequence again. Very frustrating, especially when I'm holding up the checkout line because I can't access my gift card to pay.
It's a super market where you see some great deals and you see something that you absolutely need but you can't afford because the price is so high that you can't even afford it if you were to go without other items that you needed too. It's hard to give up 3 or 4 items for 1 item that you really need. It's a never win situation even with a bonus card.
Frustrating App! Screens about allowing substitutions does not offer any substitution options, just allow or not. No list of commonly ordered items, with previous substitution instructions, is offered. And the biggest frustration of all - once you put in an order that's it - absolutely no editing! You can't change quantities, add or delete items, change the delivery date or time. Giant Eagle's web developers, wake up! You need to take a lesson from Aldi's app!
The convenience of mobile ordering is nice, but the online coupons never work through the app. I always end up ordering two items to get the deal and get charged full price for both. Also, I went to order today, and the screen goes white when you hit checkout.
Have searched forever to find option to update gift cards. I've reinstalled to update and still not finding the option.
Got the app for the discount on the advantage pay, but cant get it to work.Tried it over and over again. Piss poor app. I'm going to delete it.
It always states that connection cannot be made when trying to utilize the app for coupons, locations, get go, etc. I have reached out to Giant Eagles customer support and tried other devices (both apple & android) phones & tablets, updates and resets along with wifi only and cellular nothing seems to fix it. Quite annoying.
This app sucks! Logs me out whenever it feels like it and then won't let me sign in again. Keeps telling me it timed out after 2 seconds. If you are going to offer things like this make sure they work! I am done with Giant Eagle and GetGo worthless!
