Don't like that I can't load coupons outside of the store. Really don't like that the stores wifi has not been upgraded. If you only want users to use the app on your wifi then upgrade it. I don't like the set up of the app and that everytime I open it I have to re-register but wait I can't do that unless I'm on giant wifi. When I try to register my card it tells me my card, that i have had for years is not valid so therefore I cannot use it. Save the frustrations and cut coupons
Its difficult to use the camera scan. I did make it to the check out. It took much longer because the camera was slow and at time i had trouble scanning the item. You guy should learn from the Wegman scan. I give them A for quick, accurate and efficient app. And actually save me so much time!
While it worked intermittently at first, after loading the updated app, it asks me to connect to a wifi that isn't in my store, AND it wont accept the card I scanned even though I've had the same card for decades. If ever there was a time for this to work, it's NOW. The irony!
This was the 1st time I installed & used this App, as i usually use the reg Giant app. I installed to do a price check on an item w/out any kind of price indication on or around the shelf it was placed upon. Unfortunately, every attempt I made to price check an error occured b4 even opening that option. I then hit the coupon option & that did open. However, the scan it tab was the same as price check, even after the app asks you to connect to Giant WIFI. Hopefully issues are temp & 2 be fixed.
Giant should send someone to Wegmans to learn how to do this. The app says to connect to Giant_Food_Guest wifi at store. But my Giant store's wifi ESSID is set to Giant (or something other than the one required). So you connect to the store's wifi, but the app won't work because you're not on a wifi that doesn't exist. The tech people at Giant are apparently inept, since this app has never worked at any Giant store I've ever used. Which is why I shop at Wegmans, where the scan app works perfectl
Giant advertises and recommends this app via email and in-store to reduce person to person contact. Then it doesn't work. Tried it in 2 different stores and won't connect to server. Needs a serious update or stop advertising it.
Just wanted to check a price. Could not scan card to connect to my account. Could not manually enter card number. Finally managed to connect with a phone number. Then could not connect to store wifi. Deleted app.
Keeps saying please connect to Giant wifi. I am connected to giant wifi. Can't pay. Can't scan. Had to use scanner. Can't pay from scanner. Stood in rediculous line to pay at self checkout. App still said connect to WiFi. Fix it. Please. This doesn't work at all!
Let me start by saying I really like the app. My major complaint with this app is that Giant randomly requires self checkout users get an audit. I'm good with that. However, none of the staff know how to do that for people using the scan it app. So they end up having to rescan EVERYTHING rather than just 6 items as required by the rules of the audit. IF YOU CANNOT TRAIN YOUR WORKERS TO USE THE TECHNOLOGY YOU WANT CONSUMERS TO USE THEN STOP ALLOWING US TO USE THE APP.
Worked pretty well for awhile but then stopped after the 4th or 5th use. Some sort of server communication problem. The coupon "wallet" feature never worked. Too bad. It was handy while it lasted.
Simply broken. Will not allow me to log in, just gives an error message about lacking an internet connection (when I clearly have a fine connection.).
This app is not taking any of my pass words . I'm forever asked to make a new pass word .it's very frustrating.
For several trips in a row the app says assistance is needed when checking out, forcing me to rescan all my items.

Asks for bonus card numbers, has to be 12 digits. I have 1 card with 11 digits and one with 16. App is trash, devs are trash.
Says password or user iD is wrong when it's not. Unable to sign in. Useless so far

Won't connect to giant wifi
Ugh. Still doesn't work, three phones later. Can't sign in unless I'm using the store Wi-Fi. Seriously, I can't prepare to shop unless I'm already in the store? Installed it to use when none of the scanners in the store were charged. App needs to connect to the store wireless network, and after 10 minutes of "Connecting... Obtaining IP Address", I gave up.
Went into Giant this morning, and all the hand-held scanners were down. This is a disaster for us😰. With our basket-mounted cloth bags and their hand-scanners, we are in and out in literally 1/3 the time of any other grocery store. Then I thought about this long abandoned app. So I loaded it on their net while my wife decrypted our password file on her phone and I got it working! Hit the scan function, it autofocuses and autoscans. Better than the store hand scanners. Thank you Giant!
The app will not work as it says there was an error connecting to the network. Went to customer service and they had no idea how to fix it either.
Terrible, doesn't scan a lot of the items. If you close the app you'll lose your entire shopping cart.
Only works on Giant's store wifi. I don't care to use public wifi so I don't use this app. I use the in-store scanners instead. Still trying to figure out how to get coupons that are loaded onto my card to be incorporated into my purchase at checkout. Lots of difficulties using both the scan-it and store apps with little to no help on the apps. Very frustrating. I think you can do much better to make these apps more user-friendly....also, please consider combining the two apps into one.
