GIF Maker - GIF Editor

It would be awesome if the start and finish manual time applications actually worked. It's very frustrating to have to have to click and drag the miniscule editing bar at the bottom. On top of that, the cancel, info and apply buttons should be moved to the top because it's also very frustrating to be searching for the correct time and accidentally hitting those buttons each time. Anyway, 3/5 wouldn't recommend unless you're a little desparate with lots of patience.

Mostly a very good app.. but it does need some tweaking.. any video over 1hr long will only let you set the time points using the sliders if you're trying to clip after the 1hr mark. If you do try and set it using the timer it will jump to a random time before the hour mark when you press done which is irritating to say the least. Not being able to use more than one filter at a time (you have to save then edit to apply a 2nd one) is also annoying. Fix/add these features and I'll upgrade stars

I like this app. from reading other reviews, it sounds like Lot of people are using this on videos....I make little animations from hand draw pictures. it works great for that, but id like some more features (in no particular order): 1. when you use the manager to add a image, have an option to add it multiple times (for pauses when the frame rate is high) 2. for animations,each pic is ver similar, so if the thumbnails were bigger, it would help in editing

I make a lot of gifs out of my own art, so maybe this doesn't happen with, like, videos and stuff. but sometimes, the colour between two frames vacillates, even though I know they're the same colour I literally just coloured those pictures. also, one time I tried to make a gif, and the colour green just completely disappeared? and forget transparency, it's either all or nothing. that said, though, even with these problems its editability makes it one of the best options.

this is best gif editor on mobile I've used. It's useful for editing gifs to what you need and cropping them to smaller sizes. The one thing I would like to see added is an option to input a youtube link and choose a start time and end time that the app then turns into a gif at either 720p or the highest option if it doesn't go that high, or potentially letting us choose what the video quality gets set to works as well. Unless its an option but I haven't seen it.

I've been through all of the GIF making apps on the android store and I have to say this one is the best for customization. Only problem is the app gets bogged down after creating a few GIFs and requires the app to be closed and reopened. UPDATE 05/2022 After purchasing a new phone, it acts differently. Previously made GIFs do not show up on the recently created list until the app is closed and reopened. Also it seems when the app senses it is getting bogged, it will sort of restart itself.

I used to absolutely love this app. Then I factory reset my Galaxy S9 and reinstalled the application and none of the gifs come out correct at all. They're all jumpy and weird and nothing like how it looks when editing it in the app. I'm absolutely confused as hell as to why this would happen but I have no choice but to find something else, as this app is essentially useless now.

I cannot find a better GIF maker on the play store and I have tried quite a few. The only reason I am giving this 3 stars and not 5 is because of 3 things: 1. The timeline when scrubbing through your videos to select a short snippet does not to honor the times that you select. It's hit and miss. 2. Need way more stickers and icons that could make this app so much better. 3. Stickers and added text have terrible resolution after creating GIFs.

I used to use it 6 months ago and I had no issues and was satisfied with that version. Now I recently tried to use it but the images weren't consistent, only a 2-3 frames from the entire video get selected and they keep recurring throughout the gif, sometimes all the frames are jumbled, making it look completely disgusting.

Five stars because this is only the gif editor that works without a watermark, although I'd like to see the pixel size numbers when i crop and an ability to increase amounts in sharpening or any effect. Thank you for this app! Tips: you can edit multiple times, you'd have to save each time. Also, when you select layers while it's playing, just select once and save. Otherwise, it'd play to the first layer or some layer.

Sad that this app has not been updated since 11/2018! Great, but needs to be able to save a gif made from a video with better quality. Final Gif doesn't look ss good as it does while it is edited and saved as high res; I think the resolution and color range is reduced. Otherwise, by far the best gif editor app I have used.

PLEASE READ! Not that it's bad. I use it. 1🌟 is because it Pops Up a "Rate Is 5🌟" with no way to give actual rating... This skews the actually rating if this App. It's OK but lacks features like text on gif and gif creation is near impossible with single image only import. NO WAY TO OPEN FOLDERS, usually can not find gifs to edit! I often have to use another app to overcome problems. True rating about 3🌟 more if it didn't have all the Ads ... To bad they don't have a cheap, no ad version.

This app is one that allows annoying out of app pop up ads. I was unsure where the problem came from, i searched for a solution for a fix, the simplest was to remove my most recent apps. Problem solved? Well i reinstalled this app because i needed to use it and guess who the offender is, THIS APP!!! If you like to see ads while doing something as innocuous as opening your phone from the lock screen then this is the app for you. If you want to see an ad while using your gps, then this is definitely the app you want. Hell if you want to see an ad while talking to friend in Vietnam......

A lot of different ways you can edit you videos or pictures. You can even edit a screen record taken from a different app. This app could not be better (unless, if you could add background music, but hey, you can't have everything). Still 5 stars.

Until recently it was easily considered a five star application. It's been unsuccessful at operating correctly since the last update. Uninstalled and reinstalled three times and it crashed continuously. It's been good up until recently. Too Bad 😔.

Ben using it for 4 yrs or so. Totally satisfied. Noticeable altered speeds after adding texts though. They seemed to move slightly faster. Also, I couldn't share gifs on a messenger STRAIGHT to GIF Maker. I had to go out of the messenger, round to open the GIF Maker then explore the gif post.. 😁 Some sport. So I'm downloading other similar apps to find out any that's more corroborating. I'm not uninstalling yours. 👍

works great the only thing is the ads and its not even so much the ads its just where they are right under the buttons for editing im always hitting one that takes you straight to whatever add they're selling and away from what you're doing and if I can purchase the app cannot see more ads that would be wonderful you better move them somewhere else on the side of the screen

Needs more basic features. You can't currently add a background under a transparent gif. You can't resize the canvas to add a picture of another size. You can't erase areas yo make transparent. You can't draw on individual frames, or change the speed. I haven't found an app that can do all these things.

After converting a GIF in high-quality the output will be in below par quality, specifically when we convert bunch of pics into Gifs, the clarity of the data isn't that great. Given 4 stars as i liked the app, its user friendly and serving the purpose. would be great if GIF's are converted and delivered in high quality (clarity).

Used to be perfect, used this app for years with no issues. But recently all videos/gifs get uploaded out of sequence so they're unworkable. Real shame and hopefully something that can be fixed quickly, meanwhile I'll uninstall and look for something that actually works. Very disappointing.

Awful software. It opens the video fine but as soon as you apply a crop to it and move on to the next stage it appears up the video playback so much it renders it useless unless you drop it down to around 10fps. Other gif makers don't have this issue (compared side by side with the same source files.) Avoid this.

This app makes me uncontrollably mad. It eventually can get the job done... but honestly. No Undo button, No duplicate button for images, in combo with touch screen controls is quite possibly the most illogical thing the devs could have done here. Makes this app borderline useless for most tasks. It also absolutely crushes my battery.

Update: when it creates the gif the frames are put in apparently random order, making it totally useless. Previous review: kind of difficult to use. The preview slider selector and preview playback isn't accurate to the what you get in the final gif, so selecting preferred frames from a video is not easy.

As a content creator, I've been using this app for a years and enjoyed it. After this recent update, all the the frames from any selected video now generates in random order. This have made "managing" the frames very unpleasant and literally unusable. Please fix this.

This used to be a very good app until recently. GIFs that have elements that gradually fade in or out appear as they are meant to during the creation process but once you save it, the finished product ignores all levels of transparency in the shaded sections of the image. My GIFs look nothing like intended.

Making gifs works great. However I noticed an issue recently where it adds additional frames from the end of the selected video. It is deletable from the manager settings but it's unusual for it to happen. Overall great experience. Quick and easy giffing
