Gif Player - OmniGif

I just installed and for now I really love this. Fast image loading and can control the size and speed smoothly. The adds not suddenly pop out and block the image. Hate it especially the add with loud audio.

Noticed a few bugs but it's mostly really good! The developer was helpful. The ads are a bit intrusive but not the worst. There's no video ads but the banners are constantly at the top even when viewing images. There's a paid ad-free version.

The amount of time it takes to transfer big amount of picture/gif to private is too long.

Really like this. Except the function buttons are too close. I keep clicking on the wrong function. But still a great app. Vertically when in landscape mode when trying to advance frame by frame I hit the one above (I forget if it's above or below). They are not always on screen and they are translucent. I would find them occupying space less annoying than finding the scene again and then have it happen again. Thanks for listening & adding new this new feature. Great developers & company.

I like the app. The ability to speed up, zoom in on GIFs is an awesome function. However, for WEBM files I would appreciate an A-B repeat function. It's present in video players, but they're poorly implemented. In particular, an easy access shortcut for users to tap A..B repeat etc. The app would be perfect to me then. Right now, it's all that's missing for my uses. I hope to see it added in the future, I'll stay tuned.

Had an issue with freezing but devs responded quickly and the issue was resolved. I use this instead of my default gallery. I'm having another issue in which my files aren't ordered correctly. Limiting the number of folders seems to help but I have thousands of files across dozens of folders. Changing the order only seems to scramble my files.

The app actually helped me out watching some gifs that I couldn't do normally but the problem is I can't delete files for some reason, the files just reappear again after closing and opening the app Edit: I basically go for the device storage option, from there the same problem happens for both internal or external storage, haven't got any error message and yeah I can play them just fine

Easy to use, worked from the start though I have had a few freeze up/app not working errors. As soon as the ads show up the quality of the vids/gifs/jpeg visibility drop drastically. You can literally see it happen. I dont know when this started but I started to notice it last week or two.

as of right now, the ad banners do not close after looking at them for 10 seconds. Dear CucumberSW, there seems to be an issue where if an ad is about another app on the play store. a popup will show detailing the app, but the gif player wont register it as an ad and continue to show ad banners. I am above leaving false comments, I do not leave false comments in spite. I just appear to have a unique issue.

Now,upon opening the app- nothing but a blank page -sent 2 emails ,with screenshot,uninstalled,re-installed ,and STILL NOTHING ! DO I GET A REFUND?

Back to working properly. When I clicked gif files, this app wouldn't present itself as an option to open gif files. Now I can set it again. Maybe it was an issue with the file browser? Either way it's working now!

Re CucumberSW response to query re verifying identity using fingerprint. I have set up fingerprint ID on my phone and it works perfectly with one press every time to open the phone. When verifying ID by the same method in Omnigif - it repeatedly fails. Also when you press cancel on the verify ID pop up, it just pops up again.

Any file with a frame delay or uneven frame rate gets converted into a file with a constant speed, so the animation is a bit inaccurate as a result. Edit: thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it.

Re-installed. I want to use the system security system. It used to be easy (before the 'upgrade') - using a 6 digit code. I can send the file to the secure folder, but there does not appear to be any way of accessing it: I keep being asked to verify my identity 1) I have never been able to set up an identity 2) so I can not verify it. Now there might be some way of doing it but why not just make it as simple as it used to be? I originally gave it 5 stars because it was that good.

Although this app doesn't provide us live stream from YouTube I love this particular app for its all the options facilities specially video flip without saving the flipped video. I love this app very much…❤️ It isn't supporting the pendrive's file. First I've to move the file to my phone then I'm able to see in the app. Please fix it… thank u…

Probably the best gif viewer. One thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars is the broken sorting by name when it comes down to numbers. The order at which the files appear is weird and unintuitive. Please fix.

liking it so far. Been using this and really enjoying it. only suggestion I have is it would be nice to be able to make lists so you could group gifs together. Cannot find anywhere in the app where you can create new folders. This would be nice.

The adds are really distracting and annoying! If you need to advertise for third parties in a program for viewing freeware, then ask people to pay for a version that's add free, you shouldn't have made this app in the first place.

Ads are out of control. Avoid download Edit: I recently got a new phone and downloaded the updated version of this app. 2x ads, no other concernable difference (no wonder why I never update apps). And no I won't be paying for the pro version at $20. Maybe if it was $1 to $2.

This is the Best GIF Player on Android. But like many others have said, the ads in this app are massively annoying. A different monetization approach is badly needed. I recommend doing what the PSP Emulator "PPSSPP" does. Have both a free and a paid version, with no differences between the two at all. And market the paid version as a method of people voluntarily supporting the developers of their own free will. That to me is far more genuine and fair than forcing obnoxious ads on people's screen

Despite all of the hate this app gets, this app is truly 5 stars. I mean yes there is an add, but the developer was nice enough to move it to where it doesn't block the player, and its a non harmful or agitating way to get people to support it with a subscription. I love how you have full access, can slow down or speed up the gif, I love how fluent it is and how user friendly. Note tot DEVS: Thank you for making this app as it is actually the best off all the others I've found.

Perfect, VLC Media Player should take notes, Gif frame-by-frame, to slowing down the gif, to even play other files beside gifs, the creators of this app actually know what they need and added even more to satisfy. The only quirk would be WEBMs being abit f u n k y in the player but it wasn't intended for them so......

The favorites folder is useless. It plays the wrong gif, thinking that I've entered the main folder instead of the few I put in the favourites folder. Any way I can fix this?

I would like this even more and consider getting the paid version if settings included adjust transparency of the osd so it doesn't just cover up the video.

gif gets cut off by ad banner, ends up looking like you cropped the bottom of the gif when you view horizontally, the option to fix the overlap doesnt help, just dont bother with the app, because the dev sure as hell wont fix the issue.

Since I can't review the paid... The developer of this app is scamming people. 10 dollars for this below basic app. Absolutely nothing about this app is worth paying even 1 dollar for. Do yourself a favor and leave this page now. You'll regret it. There are free gif makers that are far better in nearly every aspect will put this to shame. First of all before I'm going to need the developer to contact me as soon as possible. I need a refund.
