Gif Player - OmniGif Pro

Used the free version of the app for 3 years now(IIRC)and finally decided to get the paid version. When it came to multimedia, I always ended up coming back to use Omnigif. The dev also helps and always add more to make this app stable with nice features. I definitely recommend using this app. Lots of files are supported such as gif, mp4, png, jpeg and such. Never had any problems as well.

I've been using this app for years and it works great. My only complaint is that there is no way to sort numerically, meaning that if sorted by name the items will be sorted 1, 10, 100 and so on.

So far, this is the only multimedia slideshow app that I have found. I will play slideshows of static images (jpg, png), animated (gif), and video (MP4), which is awesome! However, getting to the slideshow is somewhat cumbersome, as is choosing the folders you want. Currently, you can only add individual files to favorites. I would much rather be able to add entire folders to favorites. That way I can say play favorites and I'm done. Instead I have to name my folders in such a way that they stay at the top of the gallery list so I can select them each time to run the slideshow. Also, after selecting the folders, and hitting the play button, the slideshow doesn't actually start, it simply displays the first image in the first folder. You have to tap the image and then tap the slideshow icon, then it will start. I think there could be a better way. Also, some of the options overlap. For example: there is a repeat option. If you set that to the max of 10 , it will play both animated gifs and videos 10 times then go to the next one. Problem is, videos tend to be much longer than gifs, need separate option for gifs and video. That option also multiplies the static image duration.

This is a good multipurpose gallery & gif viewer. I occasionally have an issue when swiping or images rotating between portrait & landscape view not scaling and centering correctly. Usually happens when swiping between a fairly wide image or tall one, forcing me to back out of the folder and click the image instead of swiping to correct it. Overall it does what it says, and has extra online features for those that want to use them.

(For S9+ & S10+) I bought this app after using it for free to support the developer & get rid of the adds. This has speed control, mirror & flipping control. The on screen volume control is not the best (very jumpy - The onscreen volume slider is not a smooth gradual increase - decrease) but this is the best gif player available.

Everything is fine, but only issues is after the latest update everytime I switching the apps while playing the video it will start all over again. I can't find the setting where it will continued to play where I left after I switch back to this app like the oldest version. Thank you.

Extremely misleading. Even the reviews are misleading but I assume they are hired by the low numbers and their comments. You can NOT edit your gifs beyond deleting, changing speed, or adding watermarks which is available on 30 other apps for 2 bucks. I was stoked thinking we could edit frame by frame, I could erase the background to make a sticker gif, etc...the way the rave reviews were, and the hefty price tag, you'd think this would be great but its LESS than gif me pro. Way less. BAD.

Best application for Gifs, pics, and even videos if you're looking for a fast, small, (and I may say "robust" ), user friendly interface, simple and yet complete rendering application. If it could open documents (text, presentations, worksheets.....) then you may have developed best application ever Thanks for it and keep the good quality work 👏👏👏

Basically, anytime I start to play a video, or gif, after a few seconds it crashes. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall and restart my phone but it didn't change anything.

What happened to security. My password no longer works and instead it's using my phone pin number. I want to be able to set a separate password for private files, as it was before the update.

I don't know what happened but an older version used to play the gifs seamlessly which is why I bought pro, now it's got weird transitions and loading circles on projector mode in between gifs and looks completely janky. This displeases me.

v5 updates has issues. I can't add the downloads folder because of "privacy". Hopefully that is fixed soon. 90% of pics I look at are in that folder.

The best viewer out there with the most versatility. The developer was also very responsive in helping me work through an issue.

Giving 5 starts after learning all the process to convert gifs. I wish there was a way to convert 4k small videos to gif with the same quality. But good app makes the gif run smooth.

Used the free app for two years. Finally had a little extra $ and decided the one app that I would like to support was this one, to remove ads and support devs. Small, powerfull, I have no complaints.

Good app, though the sudden change was annoying. The transition could have been done better, imo.

After the newest update,I lost all my content inside the private tab,but I was so dumb to not see that guide video of yours.I'm sorry for that 3 star review,but after that,I can say the app is back to 5 stars!Thank you so so much for helping!!!

Great app but crashing lately. Not sure if it's the app, or the file made by another app causing it. Occurs more with 4k vids.

This is a GREAT app, so many options, zooming, speed control etc. Worth every penny. And what's $9.99 anyway ?!

Freezes and crashes after swiping through a few images.

Awesome app so far. Had to revise my review slightly, .flv files not supported.

Functionality is sufficient and plays well.

of course I faced problem only in beta.. I'll roll back in and try...

This app has improved substantially since I purchased it some years ago, though it was a 5☆ app even then.
