GifBoom: Animated GIF Camera

Needs improvements, the app displays error messages 70 percent of the time I try and view gifs. It's annoying to have to click the gif for it to start playing... the iphone version just automatically played and that was nice. When I try and view questions people have asked it says they're not available. Thank you gifboom creators for the free service you provide, it just needs some updating for the android version.

This app is all about creating a dumpy social network for gifs. It asks way too much for permissions and won't let you do anything without collecting email, Twitter, or Facebook details. Not a good trait for purportedly an image/video utility

This app doesn't let you download the gifs you make, and if u go into the settings it gives you the option of it saving to the camera roll when u publish the gif. But, when it's in your camera roll it's so scaled down that it looks like crap. I hate this app. I've given it many chances and I'm always let down.

When I first downloaded this app about a year and a half ago it worked well and it was fun! But now whenever I make a gif it shows up as just a thumbnail size picture not a moving gif. I also do not get the updates and it won't let me upload anything from my gallery. Gifboom has been glitching for over a year and I really want it to be fixed! I'm sure i'm not the only one having problems with this app

Ever since you guys updated it to fit ios 7, this app has been terrible. It used to be my favorite app, but now i hate it. You can't get stuff from your clipboard and if you do somehow its blurry. Also i have an LG g2 , and the app is even worse and much different on here, Please.change!

I have some things to, well, rant about. 1. When I try to upload my own set of GIFs, it turns into a very low quality GIFs (eg, being fuzzy/blurry) I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but it still have the same problem. 2. When I search up some GIFs to view it or something, after scrolling for a while, it shows me the same GIFs on the exact same day it was uploaded and nothing other than that. Please fix this, thank you.

This app is so awesome . You can whip up a gif in minutes. Use 2 or 4 pix or up to 60. Use pix from a video... The app separates them for you frame for frame. Then add the finishing touch of one of their songs or search and find the one just right for your gif. If someone doesn't like this app it's cuz they are too retarded to figure out the simple step by step walk thru. You can also add a tint or hue and slow or speed up your gif and you can put whatever text you want on it in an format or Color. GREAT AP

I have both ios and android devices and to make this simple, it just seems that the apps developers don't care about Android! They keep having multiple problems where as in the ios I virtually have nothing wrong. Please fix the viewing of gifs because more than half of the gifs aren't viewable that would easily make this a 5 star app.

Until this app gets updated and collages are supported (like ios) and the gifs don't come out pixilated and blurred, I am going to keep the review at one star. This app is worthless without having the ability to save gifs to my camera roll without losing so much quality that the gifs are impossible to interpret

You totally screwed Android users, the collage button was the only reason I wanted this app. AND my gifs are extremely blurry to where you can't even read the words! I was really looking forward to this app because it's so popular with ifunny users, but now that I've tried it, I don't want to try it again until you fix everything.

When you make a gif, the resolution is SO poor, you can barely tell what's going on in the image!! Even if you save the gif to your device's gallery, you get an even WORSE outcome! (At most 30 x 100 pixel resolution) Do not download because the updates will never come.

A year ago this app was amazing. After android users got the audio update this app became horrible. The gifts I try to upload are always blurry and pixelated and I can only reboom and gifs from the app camera. Please fix this. I really feel like the developers don't care about us android users. I've had the app for over a year and I honestly don't remember the last update and the app really does need an update. Please update it soon.

Gif creations seem nice, but whatever crap saved in my gallery is so pixelated I can't even recognize my family. Also difficult to see on gifboom's network, loads slow even on Wi-Fi. Filters are NOT A GOOD EXCUSE to otherwise have a completely useless app, uninstalled.

I used to have this app on my ipod about a year ago and I loved it to bits! I decided to get it on my new android phone and it's a mess! Not only did gifboom delete my old account which was huge and had nothing wrong with it but there's a huge amount of features that were on ios a year ago that still aren't on android! Looking through reviews it's pretty obvious this is common.. If you're going to ignore android users take the app off the Google play store Smh. Very disappointed

I really like gifboom but it won't let me save it to my camera roll. I've been looking for a button but it doesn't say anything about saving it. I have an android and I tried it on my iPod and it does let me save them. I don't understand why it can't just be as easy as it is to save it on apple devices for androids. I would give it five stars but seeing as I can't save them I'll give you four. Nonetheless gifboom is a really great app.

I like Gifboom itself. But when I try to make a gif, i get to the part where I'm able to make a comment on the gif and then it crashes. Literally every time now. And when I try to upload a gif from my gallery it's ridiculously blurry. And the quality on half my gifs when I WAS able to upload was fine, but as it went on the gif would get more and more pixellated. I REALLY liked those gifs too! These are some major bugs that need to be fixed.

I just got this Samsung Galaxy S5 and can shoot 16mp photos in burst mode (perfect for stringing good quality photos together in a .gif file) quality comes out pixelated and can't seem to make it work right. Also it just started unexpectedly closing on me.

I downloaded this after a year of not using the app and found out that my old account had been deleted and apparently this is happening to a lot of other people too, I had been using the app since 2012 so there were lots of memories on my old account and now it's gone. Also when I try to make a gif, it doesn't record the audio, only video. And it never used to do that when I had the iOS version. Kinda regret switching over to an android phone.

I want to save GIFs but I don't know where to save them. But it looks like it isn't updated yet, and I really like it if it was there for Android besides iPhone/iOS. Please make a better update and I'll be satisfied with the app. Thanks

I've had a gifboom for almost 2 years and I'm growing to hate it. The whole app needs an update like Apple has done and the gifs on my feed, popular section and even profiles don't load up anymore. This needs to be fixed.

When I started Gifboom 2 years ago, everything went very smoothly. Now, I'm on my second account from being banned for no said reason. I have e-mailed Gifboom staff multiple times in the past year, and I had not gotten a single reply. Yes, Gifboom has many new features now, (the ask box, music, ect.,) but what comes along with these new features is the app crashing. My app crashes very often, and I am then forces to reset my phone. Please, fix the crashes. I am now having to uninstall, and reinstall the app, for it won't load anything.

I really want to use this app, but it makes my gifs extremely blurry and pixelated to the point where I can't use it. Also add extra features such as collages. I would gladly give 5 stars if these bugs are fixed.

So my friend told me that this is the app to get if you're wanting to make some hella rad gifs, but it's only disappointed me. Fix the android version, please? The graphics are terrible and I can't add more than one gif

None of the "video" gifs will load and only some of the plain ones. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with nothing changing. I've used the iPhone version of this app and it's a hell of a lot better but I'd rather not have an iPhone. I feel like they abandoned the version for androids because they never fix any of the problems. I had this app a year ago as well and decided to give it anothet try but it's the exact same as it was then, maybe even worse with how the gifs aren't loading. Don't get it.

What a joke. The bias towards iOS is obvious, so why even give it to android if the quality is going to be HORRID. Gifs are pixelated, the app is SLOW, no collage mode, and the time to upload is WAAAY too long. I can't believe over 100K people have downloaded this app.
