This app is infinitely better than OmniGIF, for one big reason: ads pop up next to the images, not on top of them. GIF Player+ doesn't manipulate you into clicking on them, either. This program does everything I need it to do, and feels like it was built by someone who actually cares about presenting a good product.
It's an amazing app. It opens large size gif files and plays it smooth what sometimes phone gallery can't do. Besides one can easily change the gif speed through this app. But the only missing thing is one can't delete a gif file inside the app. Provide an option so that a gif file can be deleted inside the app. thanks
Awesome! A simple, and useful viewer; it loops, has speed options, can save frames as pictures, has frame by frame buttons....pretty much what you'd expect but without bloat or hassle.
Hide/show for (.nomedia) folders does not seem to work with Android 10!! Just needs the ability to 'slideshow' each GIF in turn for a set (variable) period and it will be perfect! Great app.
Kicks Assss! Plays any gifs I've tried flawlessly. Better than gallery or any other viewers I've used. Love the ability to speed up... Keep up the good work folks!
I love using this but way to many times does not post, I think if is not available some of them... it should be deleted. Thanks
Everything is great, it's just the ads that are annoying.
Previous reviewer compared Gifplayer+ as superior to Omnigif - however Omnigif plays wider variety of pic types as well as MP4s and WebMs

It has been working like a charm for several years now. The only peeve I have is that it can't display gifs bigger than 15MB. Other than that it's a great app.

To be honest' bout it, It does what it do. But as far as updating it, sometimes messes it up. My last gif player I had, has a reverse play. I liked that a lot.
Only shows less then half of my gif needs major work yet
This app has earned it's five stars for the years that I've used it. Such a great app.

Great Gif player, the best even. Feature request: Gif reverse play or boomerang, that would make my year. Please put the speed and all the toolbars at the bottom, hard reaching at the top of the screen.
Does what it claims to do with little or no fuss. Instantly located all my GIFs faster than a snowcone melts in hell. All this was totally hands off from me. I didn't have to worry about clicking thru dialogs or nothing. Click program on my home screen and bam there they where ready to be selected. Oh BTW just choose any gif then drag left or right to load all the others in your collection. So simple even a caveman well you get the idea!!! The only suggestion I've got is the ability to save a copy of a GIF under a new name. Say the original gif played back way way to fast. Change the playback speed and/or orientation. Say the gif was in portrait and was originally shot in landscape.
This is by far the very best gif player on Google Play. Everything else is ad filled garbage, and doesn't have the options this player has. You can zoom, flip, and easily speed up or slow down the animation. The interface is simple and easy to use. Would gladly pay a few dollars to remove the tiny ad box at the top that is simple to close and never pops up after. This is how you make an application. Good job!
