Very valuable data packs,however sometimes especially at night, the connection is really bad and slow. Hotspot is also always very slow. App is terrible, takes forever to load and has a infinite amount of bugs from not being able to login to your own account to taking forever to load. Many more bugs me and others have encountered impossible to list all.

Giga as an MVNO telco service provider has been awesome! Fuss free no contract plans and they give lots and lots of freebies. The data roll over is the best feature in my opinion. The app experience however has been sorely lacking. Generally quite nice UX/UI but it is very slow and often times lags badly. So much to be improved upon there!

Giga keeps giving out free data that you'd never be able to finish using (think >100GB) and all for $18 so I think it's really a bang for your buck. The connection is pretty stable in all corners of Singapore as well, even in underground trains and lifts. If you're looking for a no-commitment plan, this is a good start. Some downsides are the app takes forever to load and ofc, pls don't expect customer service to be A+. You pay for what you get ok :)

Horrible connection. Will often have no internet connection even though mobile data is on. I've been experiencing such disruption for nearly a month now, still no fix. Very poor service. Edit: very glad to report that I have switched to another service, which works great and till date have no disconnect. Highly recommend everyone to ditch the dead weight with something that actually works.

Decided to go with giga! after an extensive research on the many MNVO providers. I was attracted to giga! interface with the cat (I love cats) and many characters, the fuss-free simple plans (went w/ 6 GB for $10) and friendly app is also a plus! Signing up and receiving the SIM was a breeze as well. I signed up during the Good Fri period and was offered additional 2 GB for free making it 8 GB 🙏🏻 4G+ and speed was AWESOME. Love it! No regrets with giga! Thanks StarHub and giga! gang.

The response times of the app is extremely slow. Each time you open it, even while on home fiber, the loading takes a long time. When you click on something, again it takes very long to refresh. Worst of all, you can never get a live agent to respond. I have sent emails requesting for giga support just to help my friend sign up but no one bother to respond to my emails.

Good things: 1. It has the cheapest subscription plan (for now). 2. It gives free additional data now and then. 3. It auto extend its promotional rate to existing customers and not just to new customers (not sure does Giga do this every time. But i did receive such benefits once). 4. It auto roll-over unused data to following month. Bad thing: 1. Super poor connection when I'm at home (hall, rooms). What's the point of giving so much data when I can't even use it in my own house?!

Very clean, intuitive and fun UI design. Performance of the app has been good so far, I've not had any issues. Delivery of the SIM card was prompt. Virtual onboarding was easy and fast. I also like the sweet deals Giga offers from time to time. Overall, I'm a happy customer that switched over from another telco. The prices are unbeatable.

I've tried for nearly 2 hours and I cannot get a plan from this app. Keeps saying something went wrong with connection but all my other apps/browsers are fine. Completely no indication of the average waiting time so I wasted 20 minutes on the "good things come for those who wait" screen thinking it was normal. I'll change my review if it works after I reinstall the app.

I must say the experience is wonderful. The App is very clean, easy to use and user-friendly. Many things can be self-help. At the start, you might feel strange stepping out of the big 3 Telcos, and no person to call to. But I am glad I did that. I been using for a month and have 2 lines with Giga. No hipcups with porting and signal is strong. Good work!

The process of signing up and activation has been smooth and fun. However, accessing the app thereafter is a pain. I have been trying to load up the app now and it has been 4 minutes, it's still stuck at the loading page. Please fix the bugs asap.

Not much bugs or glitches found. The app works for my use cases. It displays most of the information required. If the app has functionalities like displaying daily, hourly and data per app usage it will be even better but this would just be an additional bonus and might end up making the app laggy or bloated based on the implementation so it is not really a necessity. The cleaner it is the better. It has been a decent experience so far.

Totally underrated. Transition to GIGA via the app alone has been super seamless and pleasant. Extremely hassle-free. The port-over is automatic haha! So far, the network connectivity has been good. Haven't experienced any slowness or intermittent network issue. I'm sharing this post from the subway, underground. Keep up the good work Giga. Also the cute animation and design is top notch! Uniquely Giga.

Tried to sign up for a new sim today but have problems scanning my ID card, maybe because it is a new card. After 6 or 7 attempts, finally managed to get the ID accepted. Then got stuck at the processing stage, it keep showing error and unable to proceed. Did not have such problems when I signed up last year. Giga should look at the user friendliness of the app as you have just lost a customer.

My review remains the same. My setting are fine, thank you very much. Horrible connection at very inconvienent times. Connection is spotty and unreliable. Says it's connected but there is no internet at all. Happened to me multiple times in a CBD cafe in the middle of a zoom meeting. Looks fine at first, then when you're halfway thru, surprise! No connection even though it was fine just minutes ago. Very disappointed.

App is super super super glitchy. Doesn't even load into the main menu and it's forever stuck on a blank screen. And for the rare times it finally loads, it says always says app needs to be updated but I had already done so?? Man.. I just want to check my billing status. Its probably going to only take maximum 30 seconds, but I ended up spending 30mins on this useless app. Website takes forever to load on my desktop and phone as well. Giga-failure 👎

Annoyingly disruptive quick boost ad popups on every app launch or even on every main page refresh which happens if you pull it down slightly or exit from any other section of the app. The app is super sketchy and needs many improvements. The telco itself is fine, though, the number port-in went quickly and smoothly, mobile internet works really well.

VERY TERRIBLE CONNECTION. I bought into giga because of the massive data at a affordable price and data rollover. Data speed was not as good as mvno which I take it as a tradeoff. But recently the signal and speed is so SLOW AND UNUSABLE ! WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING DATA WHEN ITS NOT USABLE? GET IT FIXED !!!

The actual connection, reception and internet speed, call quality sms all these are great, as it uses the Starhub postpaid network. But the main problem that stands out to me is the quality of the app. The app feels "jittery" and it doesnt feel smooth. Sometimes even the chats lag on me and information gets hard to convey. Hopefully the experience can be improved. Up to now im still satisfied with the service. Waiting for my Singtel number to port in though.

No able to login through facebook, i am able to login with fb on your portal, but whenever i try to login to the app with fb, it opens up a browser tab and didnt redirect me to the app after login success on browser side. It was working last year.

On the app I just signed up for $10 a month plan using my credit card. The app didn't acknowledge and brought me back to the plan selection page. I called the bank and was told that a transaction was recorded. I go back to the GIGA app, it doesn't show any transaction history. The Gino chat doesn't understand human language and is totally hopeless. It asks me to go find my transaction history on the menu, but there is NO MENU page. No humans available to help. Hopeless service!

App is horrible and coverage is even worse, I can't even load transaction detail on Giga 4G+ while using Giga app. I have tested it around Singapore since I need to travel around the island a lot, signal is especially bad near the North and West area of the region. Only 2 bars in a HDB area is not anywhere remotely acceptable for a Telco. Only reason it's not a 1 star is thanks to rollover data, fix the coverage and the app.

Awesome! In very simple terms, it means l really really like it! In fact, l like it so much that l've ported over my more than 10 year's singtel line as well as my wife's and also added another new line! No unnecessary fees, no registration fees, no sim card charges, no hidden charges, only $2 delivery fee......what you see is what you get! No complications and this is the way it should be 😀

Doesn't run on my rooted phone. I'm a developer and it's rooted for that purpose, no other reasons. Fortunately, I'm still able to manage my Giga plan from the web portal, but losing the convenience of an app is annoying. Please try to fix this - design the app such that no sensitive data is stored on the phone, then you can stop being root paranoid.

good service and competitive. havent seen a "no service" yet, 4g seems to be everywhere i go. reason for 1 star because data very slow after using about 10gb. always 1.5mbps super slow but speed test can reach 200mbps. Had no major issues other than the daily limit. I also prefer the plan to reset at midnight instead of when you activated the card.

Have tried multiple post paid plan and so far this is the best i could get in terms of speed and reception. Not to mention the rollover data is a major huge bonus. Always would not have my data fall off the 50gb mark b4 the renewal period and constantly gives freebies occasionally every month. You rocks! I am attempting to do a port over to giga and have just downloaded it.. Upon open, the app says that my application needs to be updated and when I tried tapping the orange update bar - nothing happens. I also cannot proceed to use the app. Please fix this soon before you lose many potential customers.

"Your application needs to be updated. Tap here to update." But when you tap on it, it does absolutely nothing. There are no updates in the app store, clearing cache and data does nothing, and neither does restarting the phone. What else is there to do? Switch to a different carrier?
