The app works pretty well. Sometimes it takes a while for the information to save and upload properly, a few times in which I had to close down and re-open the app. There was also one instance in which all of my info somehow got erased off of the survey despite having just hit done and waiting for the survey to upload. For the most part though it works on a consistent basis.

Allows you to see a list of jobs nearby or based on a zip code. Job reporting works well, just make sure to toggle the setting to sync surveys over Wi-Fi only if you are worried about data usage. Wish there was better ability to control the search parameters - inparticular the ability to set a date range; that there was the ability to make routes (like the website); and the ability to view jobs on a map.

A little slow in the updating which is annoying, but I like the user interface a lot.

It's got great gigs to do: here, there, everywhere, and nowhere...phone and web visits, audits, reviews of all types of places. And it they don't have the type of job you'd like in a lovktion that's good for you, well, they also list outside sources for additional jobs. Today alone there are 26 web and phone opportunities on GigSpot; also, there are 498 total jobs of the same type outside of GigSpot. At $40 per outside job, or even $10, $15, $20, $25...thats $ in your pocket quick n easy!! KUDOS

The app is connected to multiple MSP's which is nice. A problem for me is that there is no visible data/rating system for shoppers. I cannot tell if an MSP marked my account negatively or positively. Surveys freeze a lot, so save often.

A very good and easy to use app for finding local jobs. They work with a wide range of well known companies who have on a few occasions offered to act as refernces to work permanently at places that hold the gigs. Great for stable short term employment and task based work like microtasks

Just starting it and impressed with the amount of things to do but when you look at getting paid, only one company pays immediately after the job is done. All others pay 30 to 60 days after completion. Also, why would I only be paid $5 to MS at a place 30 miles away? Do they cover the tip to the server? Weird.

I get a synchronization error message and am not aware that my request was assigned. How do I fix this ?

This app is really hit or miss. Some companies are great, some take months to pay. Sometimes there are 100 nearby opportunities, sometimes not a single one worthwhile. All in all I've gotten lucky but u gotta put the work in to get decent gigs

I went through the entire process of creating a profile twice!!! Both times I get " invalid email/password" response when I go to login. This looks like a pretty cool app, too bad i can't I can't login

Easy assignments - good way to make extra money. The only reason for 4 stars is you have to wait until the end of the following month to be paid for assignments. I.E. If you do jobs in Oct - you get paid the end of Nov.

Pretty hockie app. Very cumbersome. Have to answer a long list of irrelevant questions in signup. Phone survey shops are recorded through their system (??Legal??) and have to be approved before you can complete your survey. Lot better apps out there. One thing I noticed on reading reviews; there are no responses from the company about crashes or other app issuess. Do they operate the same way?

Good app and it deserves a better rating. I have received and been paid for a considerable amount of jobs and been satisfied with the process. Some clients take a while to pay (up to 60 days) but you can view the payment terms before agreeing to apply for jobs and see when you will be paid so you know what to expect.

I would have to give the app a 4. it was difficult at first to maneuver, but after I got the hang of it, it is going well. although some of the people that evaluate the evaluations have no respect or even try to fight for you, if you make an honest mistake that anyone could make. I had literally drove over a 1000 miles and did 8 shops in 1 day. by the time I got home I was driving for over 28 hours. I made a simple mistake and tried my best to fix it and the evaluator was not impressed.

Where as other apps pay out within a few hours, this app asks you to spend money during the interaction and then they pay you like a month later. This isn't a great model for people who are using this app to make a little extra side cash. I won't be doing any more jobs for them in my area.

I was just tired on for a job which is cool but kind of didn't start out well because I wasn't really aware of how to work everything. So I guess besides that I'd say it's a pretty cool idea but they just kind of throw you in there in my opinion and that's a little scary sometimes. If I can get it down and it puts money in my bank I'll be one happy gal:)

I love being a mystery shopper. Gigspot always has fun assignments, and cool scheduler's. I can't wait to do some different shops in the future! I hope they again have some shops like the musesm, or amusement park. Those are fun! Come sign up, you'll love it!

This app is a disaster. I had submitted some work and everything that I had saved was lost even after I saved it. Poorly made. The app always has bugs as well.

I love this app and the companies I get to work for. I've had nothing but success with each job. The app is easy to use and the jobs available are great!

i have attempyed to set up an account 3 times. each time i get a verification email. it takes me back to setting up a new account. and each time i attempt to sign in, it tells me my email and password are invalid.

I Downloaded many gig apps, this is the only one that has gotten results, which however are limited to product sampling/product demos and mystery shops.

It takes forever to get the verification text and I can't switch in and out of app to get it so I can't even use it.

Too complicated. The instruction pamphlet I downloaded for the Citgo jobs wouldn't open. Some tasks have up to a 60 day payout. I'm just not feeling this app when there are so many others with plain, simple task instructions & they pay same or next day or at least within a week.

Easy to use an understand. Love the ability to use an app to complete these secret shops, it allows for quick access and no need to log in everytime I want to update a shop!

Gigspot is an excellent tool for companies and and a fantastic resource to find and complete jobs for various companies. Its my favorite place to go when Im looking for a few jobs to pick up.
