Gigwalk

The is now virtually unusable! After EVERY picture it closes! I contacted customer support & the 1st time they never got back to me. So even though I did the work I never got paid because of a problem with their app! This last time they did get back to me & I was able to finish it. They used to have about a 24-48hour turn-around for payouts but now they are taking over 2 weeks! Awful! Not worth the time, effort or multiple headaches! Avoid at all costs! 😡

Couldn't even make it through the sign up process. Every step gives you an error message. Then when you finally get past all that finally, picking a password will constantly give you a "wrong password" message. Would have loved to try this app out but y'all need to fix some bugs in your system and clarify your password rules. I tried four different ones!

Its a legit app and it pays relatively quickly. My criticism is with the new app. What the new app does well is finish each individual step of a gig faster. However, the map display consolidates everything into one icon in a general area, you need to zoom in to see each one. Also frustrating is that i have to wait for approval one i select one to do. i understand for new people but i have been using gigwalk for years, the old app was basically immediate when i submitted request.

It was okay before I guess. It was pretty slow and it required multiple taps to open a gig(sometimes 4+ taps) but it at least paid even a little. But since the update it has actually become unusable. Unistall, reinstall, still can't even open any gigs to apply no matter the number of taps and no matter which gig. And it seems like they're too busy telling people with similar issues that their in a small percentage instead of fixing it.

I like this app because you can make extra money. But sometimes, it can take a while before you get paid. When the app updated, I seen I lost a few of the gigs I did and still have the photos for, reported it to them, but was ignored. Also the addresses aren't always correct. I hit direction and it takes me south of Illinois. When commenting on them. their ignored. I think once this app gets it's "keys" right, it can be better!

the latest update has broken the app on my phone. I'm using a Samsung s6 with Android version 7. when I open the app it just hangs on the map and doesn't show anything. I can move the map but it doesn't give me the option to search the area. It just has the loading progress bar at the top of the mapscreen.

with this new update, I cannot select a gig. It was very sluggish before, but now it does not even work! They updated it twice more yesterday and its still broken! They really should hire professionals to do the job! There is no way to select a gig! The company will go out of business if this is how they run it. Update! This new version today fixes the touch issues. Good work!

This app seems to work great for the low paying gigs but when you've put in 2 hours of work (for a gig that says it's only supposed to take 30 minutes) on one of the higher paying gigs, and you even double checked that everything has been completed correctly, you ever so conveniently receive a notification that your work has been rejected saying that not everything was completed. It seems as if it's another way for these companies to overwork people for little (if that) compensation.

I'm unable to successfully apply for gigs. When I apply I get a notification immediately afterwards that I've been removed from gig due to the violation of terms. I've been accepted and have completed one gig. It was a delightful experience. However, now, I'm frustrated. I've emailed community and support and 2 weeks later I've still to get a response. Please help.

WARNING: This may be a scam! It always says it can't connect to the server, yet it's eating my battery at twice the normal rate since installing. Probably stealing data. BEWARE! I'm uninstalling after this post and restoring my phone to factory settings. Maybe it's not a scam, since they responded but I can't be bothered with apps that don't work.

In my area of NJ I noticed that many "gigs" had $0.00 so that was confusing at first..then when I found a gig that had an actual dollar amount of $4.50 I selected it because of the distance noting it is only 7 miles. The problem is when I actually go into Google map the distance is 16 miles so that is huge difference. I emailed the company and advises them if the discrepancies but dont think they are going to work on improving it or correcting it. I just deleted the app it not worth the time

App is great for side gigs & making a few bucks near you. They pay reliably and regularly through PayPal, and are communicative & clear about the work that needs to be done, the pictures that need to be taken and the tasks that need to be accomplished to complete a certain gig. Unlike some other gig apps out there, I am never left wishing I could provide more pictures or offer an explanation of problems or obstacles I ran into. Highly recommend, would give six stars if I could!

This is a good app. Gigs are mostly quick audits and merchandising and usually there are enough gigs around my area that I can work pretty regularly. I also love that they give you up to 24hrs to complete the gigs, so easier to work the gig into my schedule, super cool. The update fixed camera issues and makes me happy to use it again!! Great update Gigwalk!

This was probably a real good app back in the day but now it seems like a waste of space on my phone. Job availability is scarce and you have to compete with other gigwalkers to claim it, so no guarentees. I will be closing my account and uninstalling this waste of space of an app. With hundreds of other options one is eventually going to come across one or more with serious earning potential. I recommend running mutiple apps at once. Play around find some good ones!

A task app that actually has decent paying jobs even if they are few and far between in my area. Which I don't hold against the app but what leads to a 3 star review is the length of time it takes for your gigs to be reviewed. My latest has been in "unreviewed" status for 6 days. With the task app market as competitive as it is this wait time is becoming unacceptable. Even once approved there will be a few more days before payment is received. Other apps much are so faster to pay.

Sometimes it takes awhile to get paid and they dont cpme in the order expected. Otherwise a nice app to have. Most of the gigs are easy and informative. Hpwever the scavenger hunts a lot of them do not make sense. The product numbers are incorrect vs what the product is supposed to be.

One filled out report went to a different listing I was assigned. Another shop I was assigned I did, which too close to and hour wouldn't let me submit it saying things were missing but they weren't. When I tried again, after several attempts, it said it was unassigned to me and there doesn't seem to be a way to get any support. Total waste of my time and I will be deleting this app and not use it again. Do not recommend.

Gig walk is a great app to use if you need a little extra income. Gigs are always available to you daily. The only cons about gig walk is it takes forever for them to review your work. I've been waiting almost 4 days for my gigs to be reviewed so that the funds are released, but it hasn't happened yet. Another con is, it mainly be the same gigs every day, and you can only assign yourself to one. Example: There maybe be 22 Audit gigs available, but out of the 22 you can only do one of them.

Mostly easy & straightforward gigs that pay quickly. Out of the handful of apps of this nature that I use regularly, this app holds the record for the highest paying gig: $50 for literally 3 pictures of 1 single product! Granted that isn't typical, but I'm always on the lookout!

Two hours it stayed on loading and simply never loaded! So I just uninstalled it. Makes no sense to have it if it's not going to work or even get pass the landing stage.

I've been happy with Gigwalk over the last few years, but I've been unable to select/open jobs since the last update. I can scroll, navigate the menu, etc, but it behaves as if the job titles are no longer links.
