This app is such a great idea but falls short in every aspect which is quite frankly frustrating. It is full of bugs, the UI is non-intuitive to say the least and the most basic functionality you'd expect is either missing or found at some random place that makes little sense. I will replace it with a better alternative as soon as one shows up.
Not compatible with Chromebook, kids can't use it.
It's... just average. It works. Most of the time, at least. The UI is a bit unintuitive and we have had problems with tasks disappearing or even changing value to itself times ten(!?) which is obviously not something you would want.
Cannot set it up. Constantly assumes I am the child rather than the parent trying to set up the account. Gave up after several unsuccessful attempts
The concept is great. The app is not really intuitive, it's difficult to learn how to use it. What I am really lacking is notifications when my kid finish a task. I have set the settings to push notifications. What am I doing wrong?
So good idea, but sooo useless app! You can as far as I could tell, only add ONE task within one topic at a time, (which the app doesn't tell you, you need to find this out yourself after writing a lot of them and then not seeing them in the lists). And there are these really annoying and totally unnecessary limits of word lenght in the task descriptions! Also, we need a reducement function as well for when behaving bad. Sorry but parenting isn't only about praise and rewards.
Loved the app initially: transparency of the data to the parent and the kids, card option. But, two serious drawbacks made me give the grade only two stars. - Subscription price is expensive. Adding a credit card for your kid costs over 45 euros yearly (!) each. A bank normally charges 20 euros, so this is more than double. And the added functionality in the app is not that big either. - Poor customer service. No phone support. Chat is useless, questions not answered and forwarded "to the team
Nice idea - a bit heavy on the notifications and lots of odds that don't work. For example I wanted to set some recurring auto approved chores instead of a fixed payday, but they never get saved or sent to the kid.
Have used this app for several years for our 3 kids. After the last system update the app won't open on my phone. Have contacted help desk without succes. I give up ...
OMG the set up of the login phase of this app is the most confusing I have ever seen. Now both my sons account and mine seems interlaced "waiting for sms that never comes). I would like to use it but sofar I have not been able to (but I'm only a software developer and troubleshooter myself...) even get past the login
UI could be better and more intuitive. Please, PLEASE! Stop with the highly unnecessary notifications and you'll get better grades .
I find the new UI to be confusing. For example, approving completed chores could be more accessible.
Awful. The app doesnt alliw me to pay a monthly allowance and just makes my monthly payments weekly. I share paying pocket mon ey with my daughter in law You dont seem to understand. One of us pays weekly, one pays monthly. Every time the weekly one is adjusted it makes the monthly payment a weekly payment but at the monthly rate per week. Kids love it but it's expensive for me
Great app, great for adding up money so you don't have to count yourself a few bugs but not that bad but wish there was a aprove all button because it's a bit tedious aproving one by one.
Thought it was great but now it has started missing paydays! I checked how much money she had and found it low, checked the ledger and the payday haven't registered for week 35 and 37, but again at 37. So odd
Great idea but lousy execution. Confusing UI, often very slow. Often my clicks just don't seem to register. I am generally quite frustrated with it.
I like the layout and everything, but when I choose sek or swedish crowns, it doesn't change the numbers. 1 dollar = ca 9 sek but it only changes the dollar sign to sek and not the actual currency. thanks
Amazing and cute app. my mom and brother uses it to tell me what chores to so for MONEY!! every single day I'm getting money and my dream is to get a dog but the app is quick and fast really easy to use and so cute
It functions poorly. Syncing is really slow, and the UI is confusing/hard to find stuff
love the app, my daughter's a saver to begin with so now I don't have to remember to have cash for payday or a bunch of $ in her room (okay, more like a bunch of iou's, lol) now, when she wants something special I buy it for her then deduct it from her acct
I love this app, me and my dad use it and it makes pocket money so much easier! You can also chat with the staff, and save up for big dreams! Totally recommend.
Keeps scrolling up in all the different lists inside the app. It is very annoying in pussing the card thing.
When you save enough money for an item and click get it it just tells the child to ask there parent when the reason I got my child this app is so they could save up there own money and not have to constantly ask me
Really good app and makes me feel organised with my money. And my parents always forget when to pay me my allowance, so this is great :))
I loveeee piggy he's the best!
gimi helped me to start working around the house and earning money, without it i would have never started saving up. it gives you a choice of chores (which are age specific) which i love. i really recommend this for people of any age.
Having problems with the current version- chores do not pay out/appear in transactions after being approved. Shame.
Worked great before the UI changes, and now nothing works. Recurring tasks is not always visible through the app, and when they are it is not clear if it's completed or not. Editing tasks only saves the changes about half of the times, and then not even all the changes. Picture proof is not visible on the completed task. None of the two parents gets a notification when the child completes a task. All this worked great before the remake. Would not recommend to anyone in it's current state.
