Gin Rummy

Literally the worst way to advertise to anyone! Not only do you have to watch some garbage ad between every round, the ads they choose to display force you to click an x THREE times! To fully close the ad! Absolutely moronic, and paying for anything only REDUCES the ads you see, doesn't make them go away just makes them show less. Pathetic, and disgusting choice. You need to do better!

Games are spaced evenly and are challenging. Always enjoy playing. Keep up the good work!

I've played gin rummy my whole life. this game looks pretty and runs smoothly but the computer algorithms stink! The computer Knocks after 1 to 4 draws frequently, which is unrealistic and of course totally frustrating. Also, it's ridiculously rare that I draw a useful card. So, this game is mostly frustrating and annoying. I have no idea how anyone could enjoy it.

I have paid for coins 3 times and it still doesn't seem to work. I've been playing gin rummy on ur app and it's acting up. Unless it changes I'll have to find another gin rummy.

I really love this game.... when it works that is. It does good for a bit then it has it's temper tantrums. I either get a screen flickering on off with the last move in progress or the game just locks. I would give it 5 ⭐'s if it would just work... So goodbye until you get it fixed so I can actually play beyond 1 card at a time without having to restart the whole app or uninstall, reinstall constantly.

This is not gin. In my previous review I said as much. But I decided to stick with it a while and see if the computer would learn. Now...because I undercut it almost every time its starting knocking with 9 on the first or second round. NO FUN. North Sky has some great games but this ones a disappointment.

The scoring setup for online play is poorly explained. I recently lost an online game where I had 40 points and 3 wins, which should have equalled 115, while my opponent had 30 points and 2 wins. The game went on, opponent won the hand and was given the win with 69 points and 3 games for 144. I imagine there's a valid reason for this but it's not explained anywhere.

I used to love this game, played it all the time, always had the app on any phone I've owned. I dont know what happened recently, but now it's impossible to win even a single hand, nevermind an entire game (and that's even using the easiest level!) The computer wins literally EVERY time. It's ridiculously aggravating and no longer enjoyable 😡

When playing challenges opponent almost always has upper hand. Need 4 fives? A 5 is his final discard almost every time. Computer also knocks far beyond real-life probability; seeming in 2-3 draws a considerable amount of time. Pity! Has potential to be best Gin game I've played but always leaves me with the feeling like it's cheated.

My favorite aspect of this game is the way that it very often makes you sit through agonizingly long sequences where you are dealt the most blatantly useless cards until the ai can defeat you, all the while assuming you never notice it happening again and again. This isn't a horrid game by any stretch, but that just gets on your nerves one too many times. Oh well.

Devs. say that the game is completely random...B.S.! Every time you try to hit a higher set, like kings, the computer knocks, you get screwed! I could see if it only happened once in awhile, but 98% of the time?!? Never been cheated by a card game like this one...EVER! Too bad, cuz the game actually is, or could be fun. S.M.H.

Scoring seems buggy. It gave the other player an "undercut" bonus when they we're the one who knocked. Also, I ended up with 50+ points in a game where I only scored less than 10. No bonuses were explained. Im so confused by this game.

Visually, game is more appealing than others. However , Game is unbalanced so you buy coins to have an ice cubes chance. So dont be surprised if computer makes some stunning come from behind victories.

I wanted to just play gin rummy, but I couldn't figure out the controls for the game via this app. You should have a tutorial to show people how to do things like playing my cards to score. I tried clicking on it but it set that card to the discard. Stupid

Super unrealistic when the computer opponent is always knocking after 2 or 3 cards, and none of the "daily free" offers ever work. It always says zero hours until free coins, but nothing happens when you click on it

Just installed app and it keeps freezing when it unlocks the joker. Uninstalled and reinstalled and it froze again. I have no problem with this game on my IPad or my phone. Don't want t to rate this app on this tablet because of this issue. Please resolve! I know the app is good.

I love this game. But i don't like the fact that if i take a long time to draw a card it will just pick one for me but if the other person take long to play the game just be froze until you have to forfiet i have lost a lot of points that way. i think it should go both ways its just not fair.

good app, however a minor glitch...I now have to close the app and re-open it to use, it freezes after completing a game...Will try to uninstall and re-install...just tried it after re-installing and it still freezes...time to dump it.

Was awesome, but recently when I press the knock button, nothing happens. I've uninstalled and re-installed, same problem. Very annoying. Fix it and I will re-install.

It would be a plus point if 'actual-looking' playing cards were included in the themes; that would give the game a serious and professional look.

I would give it 5 stars. Excellent game play. The ad's are wayyy too much. Too many of them. I understand you need ad's but this is a bit much.

Overall I like the new online multiplayer mode but if my device gets rotated the interface freezes even after I change the orientation back.

New cards being vertical is hard to play and see. Need the old format where the cards are the regular size.

I have played this game on and off for several years and it is by far the best gin game northsky has the best gin and canasta games if ever played I just wish you could get more coins when you win so you could unlock the other games

Purchased the $8.99 deal that included the Oklahoma game for free but every time I try to open the Oklahoma game, it says I have to pay 500 coins to open it. Not happy. Feel like I have been gipped.

I understand all developers need ad's .. and I don't mind 10 or even 15 seconds, but 30 seconds constantly and I'm on to a new game .. way too many looong ads

Great! Until Now, I spend money buying coins and Jockers but as off today the Jockers bank has run out and I can't top it up any more as it doesn't work or allow me to top up. Please fix. I won't play OT or spend any more money if it doesn't work...
