Gin Rummy Deluxe

Game keeps pestering me for a review so here it is. Looks are decent there's a reasonable variety of cards and backgrounds to choose from. The sound effects aren't annoying. If there's music I don't recall hearing it. I hate in game music except in Final Fantasy games. Gameplay can be annoying. I cannot count the times I have dropped a card out of a two card set or run only to have the very NEXT card either drawn or discarded by the opponent be the card I could have used.

I enjoy the game. Trying to remember how its played id s a little hard. More information or learning instruction would be great!! But! My main problem is it keeps freezing after each game now. So, l keep playing a new started game and never get to finish a set . One game only, and then start again, then one game and start again. Nearly, want to uninstalland reinstall, if that works. Why,it freezes I don't understand, i l regularly scan. Thank you

This is a well designed game that, unlike some others, doesn't fix the deals so that winning players lose games when the computer repeatedly knocks after two card exchanges. Fun to play this game because then it comes down to which player has the better skills and strategy. The one improvement that could be made would be to add a choice in Settings that allows the player to choose if cards are organized as runs or melds rather than letting the software decide.

It's a Good game not much to get you excited or happy about playing. Graphics could be a little larger and there really should be a way to choose if you'd like auto or self sorting of your hand because you can't move cars around without playing them and one you've touched a card it's gone and you may have only been thinking about making a set. I played this same card game on another laptop, really enjoy the challenge. Me thinks the computer cheats. Still playing. Okay the ads are annoying. usually way too loud, and some ads won't let me multi task, it's like they want me to watch them and no other. Just like before, still playing.

Game is good but every 3rd round i get a glitch in the ads that seems to get stuck and i have to search for a "X" button or back button 3,4 or 5 times. I tried to attach a screenshot...couldnt, but have images.

not happy with recent changes paid for this app to be able to play it, then an update forced me to decide if I wanted to view an ad once or several times during a game. now I have to pay again to remove the ad. time to remove the app from my device, unless something changes to get rid of the ads based on the fact that I have already paid to not have to put up with the ads.

Argh.... an ad after every hand is ridiculous! Microsoft version at least keeps the ad on the side while playing without interrupting the gave for 30 seconds after every hand. This is not worth the intrusion!

I'm a pretty good gin rummy player when playing live against other pretty good or better players. Yet with this game, I'm only winning 29% of the time. With those odds why would I waste my time playing this game. The computer should not be set-up to win over 70% of the time. What's the purpose of that. Is the computer getting paid for every hand it wins?

For several months I've been a paid user of this game. What is odd, is that on two different devices the game plays remarkably differently. On one device, the game is straightforward and fun; on the other, the games tends to get amazingly favored hands, getting Gin after about 3 cards and winning 6 to 10 hands in a row. I've uninstalled the game multiple times and upon reinstall, same results. Just odd

I like playing Gin when I am looking to pass the time...waiting at an appointment, or just for fun while drinking my coffee. I don't find the ads too disruptive. When the ad starts I just hit "x". Thanks for a pretty decent card game.

I usually win 75% of the time undercutting the computer. The computer will knock when it should be dumping more cards. If I get down to one card and its a two or an ace and I win especially when ties go to the one who didn't knock. Also when the remaining cards from the draw pile get few in number never knock. The very small amount of of points won isn't worth being undercut. If a game gets too easy for me I quit playing it.

The game is great BUT the ads slow down the game to the point that it becomes unplayable. This is rather new, but I am getting the delay issue(which is cionsiderable) on several different computers. so unless they fix this ad loading issue, i would stay away.

So well thot out, executed. Highly addictive. Just takes the Classic game and heightens it. For us with bad eyes, although I play just fine, would like to suggest moving score parts to the left a bit and closer together to make cards a bit taller to see more easily. Game is perfect, but for seniors, every bit helps. Thx u. GET THIS GAME, U WONT REGRET IT. Lots of fun.

I have a great time playing this game. I don't even know what the "Deadwood" is about but this game always knows where I left off and the different levels are neat too. The only thing I would change is the size of the club picture. It's difficult to tell the difference between the spade picture and club picture. Maybe I should use a bigger device

The game itself is well designed and enjoyable. However, at 30 seconds after every 2nd hand, the ads are overwhelming. If forced to spend 50% of time viewing ads, they better be entertaining, which they are not.

The gameplay is smooth, nice UI. The AI is disappointing though. On the hard level, the only thing that changes us the amount of 'luck' from the opponent side. On average 2 gin and 2 undercut? Gimme a break..!

I had this installed on my tablet for a few months, loved it!! Yesterday when I turned on my tablet to play, the game was not there, it was deleted. I tried several times to reinstall but everytime I got an error saying, an error occurred try again. Today I tried again and the same thing keeps happening. Please advise. Thank you!

ok game but beware once again another designed card game where computer cheats to win. if the computer has a winning round trust it will never be lower than double digits. plus the computer has the ability to undercut your hand whenever it wants but if it knocks first it takes the points and you never get to undercut, thus the designers always giving the computer options that the actual player will never have just to not let them win

It's one of the better gin games. Fast game-play with well-balanced AI. 3 skill levels, 3 settings for total game score. Loses 1 star for ads after every 2 hands(but you can click them away after a few seconds)so for a free game that's acceptable

Game is good, Ads are absurd. I have this game on my computer with no interruptive ads. Love it. Mobile version is crazy with ads much more than other games. Fortunately I can play offline and avoid the ads. 4 stars cuz of the volume of ads.

Also, and I do not know where my other post went, but I am frustrated I cannot move the cards. For example, I want a jack to be part of the K,Q,10 and it, the computer, puts the jack with 2 other jacks so when I touch it to move it over, it automatically goes to the discard pile and I cant get it back, so everything is screwed up.
