Gin Rummy Free!

Not as good as your Hearts app, but 2 would be too low... It's basic enough to get a 3 from me, but more like a 2.5. A bit ad heavy, ads are long and X'ing them out doesnt always respond... Very bare basic Gin app, lack of options / customization, no straight gin mode, no "confirm card" option to prevent mistakes, no High Low Ace option, no portrait view mode, all of those things should be fixed and offered for me to want to rate it higher. An option for jokers as wildcards would be nice too.

I like this game a lot. And for those that complain about the ads, disconnect from the internet and enjoy ad free game play. It is, after all, an offline game.🙄

Insufficient control of throw away cards. Cards that one wishes to keep are thrown away if you accidentally touch it or try to move it. Frustrating. Also, wish I could have control over positions within the hand. Otherwise good game.

Another game that has ads every 2 mins. It will end one timer, and when click on x to close, it starts another. What don't these apps understand? If I am not going to download another game the first thousand times, I'm for sure not going to at 1001.

Trying to get out of ad and back to the game. After 8 times after one hand of it going to play store I am totally frustrated. Why are there ads for how to learn gin rummy when you're playing gin rummy? A little disheartening when two hands in Bot either knocks or gets gin. Don't even get a chance to play.

The only thing I liked about it is the graphics. The things I found wrong are: 1. The ads are annoying. 2 the ads are sometimes 30 seconds. I can wait for an ad lasting 15 seconds, but having to wait 30 seconds or choosing to go out of the game and then come back in, is a big waste of time. 3. It takes less time to play the game than it does to sit and wait for 1 ad to finish. 4. Some of the ads have music and cannot be turned off unless you turn off all sound on your device. 5. Whoever designed the game made it very easy to win. When I go down or have gin, the opponent's cards usually have some face cards that are being held with very little chance to get a match. Therefore I would constantly score a lot of points while the opponent loses almost every game. I played 76 games and won 75 of them by an average of over 100 points. 6. Back to ads. Some of the ads come up partially covering the hand scorecard and cannot be removed. I tried setting my cell phone down and waiting 5 min. without the ad going away. I could not continue with that game until I went in and out of the game several times and tap other spots on the screen. Then, after getting frustrated, it would either cancel the game, asked if I wanted to leave the game, or leave the game and wait for me to reopen it; whereupon it reverted to where it was when the add covered the score sheet. This was extremely frustrating. I finally uninstalled the game.

Great graphics and gameplay, but the game is laggy, and I think it's becauseof the Ads. There's no option for me to pay to remove them either. It's a shame since its perfect otherwise. I recommend finding what's making it laggy, and if it is the Ads, an option to pay to remove it. I'd certainly buy it, It's the best and to the point Gin Rummy app otherwise.

Bot is set up to almost always win with the same set up if cards over and over again and again. Feel like your playing the same hand over and over forever. Boring.

Although it is fun to play it is a fixed game. The Bot gets gin rummy way more often than I do. It also gets the undercut more often, I think I've only gotten an undercut once.

I had to learn how to play this game all over again, because I hadn't played Gin Rummy in so many years. I used to play this card game with my mother and big sister sometimes; in which they used to beat me most of the time, because THEY WERE PRO'S AT GIN RUMMY!!THEY PLAYED THIS GAME FAITHFULLY like my younger sisters and I played jacks. This game is so much fun. I'm so glad I installed it today, which is Saturday, April 29, 2022. This will be my everyday fun game!

The number of ads is ridiculous but you can quickly go out and back in to avoid them. Bot remembers where you were in the game. True that the cards are rigged but for a while you can still win by getting low but NOT knocking. You risk bot ginning but most of the time bot will knock and you have good chance of undercut. Using this strategy manged to win 75% of the games. Then bot started knocking after 2 or 3 cards 20 times in a row. That's all brother. Uinstalled.

Maybe you could let a human win once in awhile! Sometimes we would like to relax and win a game! Too stressed out to have any fun. I am on the verge of crying, but am uninstalling the*\%! Game instead and will replace it with something fun and exciting. Can't tell me it's not set up when they want every card I throw. Plus I am sure they go out and didn't have the card I threw out that was picked up! WOW!!!!!!

I don't see any reason to have the opponent cards upside down.. it's very distracting. I can't see what the opponent plays, I can't see the layoffs that happened, and you flashed it so fast even if it was right side up I couldn't even begin to look and study the hand. Game wasn't a bad setup it seemed fair but uninstalled for this reason.

The bot gets gin rummy over and over. At first you might win a few games, but then you will lose everytime. 400 or more to zero every game. If you want people to watch your ads, you should let them win more often.

I Love learning the ins and outs....I Love a good challenge !! I can try different strategies and play for hours !!

Two many ads! Great game, but you close out of the ad and it takes you to another area to close out again. So that is why I rated it 1 star

I dont mind the ads but the one candy crush ad comes up and you dont have the option to exit out so you have to exit the game then go back in. Because of this bug is why 1 star.

I do like the speed to play this game. I would like to add that the game does need 1 big item. Please, please add the number in descending order to the card pile to draw from.

I am quite addicted! Only change - I wish there was way to change a play or change an automatic play the bot makes.

This really is one of the finest Gin Rummy games I ever seen. The only thing that severely needs to be changed is the ridiculous amount of ads in a game. An ad at the end of ever lovin hand is beyond too much. This phone is old as the hills anyway and the high amount of ads literally eat the battery after 3 full games played. It really needs to be changed to the end of the game on the ads instead of at the end of every single hand. That's the only refried bologna about this game.

WAY too many ads and not quick ones either, annoying ads that take up too much time - I'd pay to get rid of them but can't see any way to do that - other than that it's a really nice looking game, good graphics, but it would be nice to have more customisation (difficulty settings etc) because it's very easy to win as it is

Very addictive game, but frustrating much of the time. The computer plays kinda cheaty. Everything said below is 100% true, plus the Bot will often Knock or Gin on first draw (pretty rare in the real world). The only way to win is to go for the undercut. Don't knock as soon as you're able and play your cards down to the lowest possible numbers until the computer knocks. Those bonus points add up.

Playing long time. Love game. Glad to see it available to play on phone. Very enjoyable.

The reason I turned sound off for the game is because I DON'T WANT ANY SOUND so I'm really annoyed that sometimes the ads have sound and they are very loud! I don't play games that allow sounds even though I have turned sound off for the game! Also, I find it really annoying that EVERY time I lose the game your bot throws the card down that I need to win!

Could I please just play the darn game! Ad ad ad ad, enough with the ads. Interesting how I discard a 10 and then pick a 10, and then the AI discards a 10 all sequencially...more often than reality, and not, apparently to the AI. And odd, how often the AI is able to go full gin exactly the card before I can knock...meaning, they discard the exact card I need when they gin, so I can't use it and have to eat my hand. It happens 3,4,5 hands in a row. Yea, that's random. I'm out.

Good Graphics, Color, Clarity & Response Timing! But flashes Opponent Winning Hand too fast

My new addiction, ads are kind of a pain but they don't last long compared to some other games.
