The primary reasons for me to use a banking app are to a. check balances/transfer money between accounts b. remote check deposit it works ok for checking on my accounts and doing transfers. I have on occasion used the bill pay feature, but that's clunky and the web browser method is far better. It is 100% terrible for remote check deposit. You've been getting extremely negative reviews on this issue for an extended period of time. It's pretty obvious that it's an issue in the programming and that customer service can't fix that. Because the app is still not working correctly. I tried the re-start phone / reinstall app on my old phone, it didn't resolve the issue. I recently got a brand new phone, fresh install of the app, it still has issues. It's not your users. It's the app. For the most part my experience with WSB is positive, but this app is terrible. Hopefully the company is developing a new app that works.

This app has never been great and very dated. The consistency of having to change password since i downloaded the app, is frustrating. Now the last 3 months I can't get the deposit to work all the time. When I go to take a picture of a check, it kicks me out. Very frustrating. I eventually get it to work, but it takes multiple attempts. I haven't found a self fix yet. I have banked with glacier bank for 8 years. Love my service at the branches. But the app is in serious need of updates.

I want to start off by saying that I have used well over 60+ banking apps along with their respective websites. Without a doubt this has the most horrible user interface I have used. It's the opposite of intuitive it feels like somebody dyslexic was in charge of Designing the user interface of both app and website. Both app and website are extremely lacking in functionality and design I mean I feel like my nephew from third grade could put together something more conducive and intuitive...👎👎

Lately the camera feature has stopped working and is throwing errors. It is frustrating to attempt a remote deposit. I circumvented the password issue with biometric login which seems to work consistently. I actually came to app store to see if there was an update or patch. It's old enough...out to be updated by now I would think.

The app was basic but that was fine, that all changed. About a year ago they started making you answer a rotating set of 3 (of 8 that you previously established) security questions. What a hassle! Now though, it just flashes an error on the screen then force closes. Transferring all my money out and moving on. I like to support local, but if this is how they handle business then I can't afford to have my money there.

I used to love it when I first got the app. Ot was super convenient. But now for the last few months the app only works part of the time. Qay too often when I try to log in to check my account balance I get a message saying "our system is currently operating offline..." so I'm not able to see up to date info on my account. I can't get my bank's automated phone system to work either...they keep saying my PIN is wrong even though I'm 100% sure not... so I haven't even been able to look and see if my paycheck has been deposited yet. The mobile app was my primary way to access my account so it's frustrating something that's meant to help me barely even works. You guys really need to get your technical links worked out.

Kinda unrelaible at times. Don't know if it's the app, or the Bank computers. Can't always sign in. especialy at night to do check balances, deposits, or transfer money,. Also would be nice if it showed a few months of activity without having to download statements. Also would be nice if Mobile Deposits would show up quicker than they do (24 to 48 hrs), and have more info than just the amount, like perhaps an image of the front of the check. The previous First Security app did so. Thanks

App would be MUCH BETTER if a default manual mode for picture taking existed. The manual option DOES appear though when the app has difficulty interpreting the pic it automatically snapped when you just weren't ready. Manual shutter control works much more consistently for me. I mean I have to move the camera, manually, to frame the check, do you really need auto-shutter? Other banking apps can enable manual shutter control as default. This one needs it too! People today have such fixation on "automatic" everything

Flat out doesn't work. Installed and logged in, after accepting the terms and allowing access to my phone, the app went to a white screen. After 10 mins. I backed out of that screen and got an on screen prompt saying my mobile access would be denied if I didn't accept the terms and allow access. I did but the app won't work. Great start to my banking experience with FSB/Glacier. Thanks for nothing.

Over the past month I keep having an issue with the remote deposit getting halfway through capturing the check pictures and it closes the app and loses the deposit attempt. After checking for updates and finding none I've tried again and the it's the same issue. Then when I come back several hours later it all works fine and then a few days later it's does the same thing all over again. Could someone please check into this?

Used first security app without a flaw. Then it switched. I've been locked out since. Never sent me any information on how to get into it. Tried resetting password, via email/phone. Doesn't work. Tried eamial customer service, haven't gotten a single reply out of 30+ emails. I've called 100+ time s and everytime it's "our system isn't working try again later". I've gone to my local branch to try and get access but they just go "well we don't know how the glacier app works so we can't help you, contact their customer support." There is no resolution in sight. I will just have to bank somewhere else

Just as everyone else is saying, can't login. Password works for the initial login but then tells you to change it. You also have to call someone every single time to change it. Please, please update the app. This is seriously a super easy tech issue, you could have a software dev fix it in 2 hours. I'll have to switch banks if this doesn't get better.

The app is good. Very few flaws such as I've had to call in to change my password numerous times in one week. Does not update as much as I would like it to. Does not show some transactions that were made in prior days and shows the balance from prior days. Overall it is a great app to use if you cannot get to the bank to deposit a check although the other features need work.

This app is horrible. Been having the same pw issues (had to call in and change them 4 times in the last 3 months because the app keeps invalidating them) and now I keep getting the message, "Forbidden" and can't even get into the app. Have uninstalled and reinstalled twice just today and it hasn't fixed that issue, either. The people are very nice but this app is abyssmal. Get with the program and FIX the damn thing! P.S. I'm not calling Glacier about it since it's junk so don't suggest it.

I had reviewed this app last week when I was having trouble with it. Was freaked out that something was seriously wrong. When it works, which until last week was most of the time, it is fabulous. Got a call just now. When you are having trouble they really care and help you out. This really is an exceptional app belonging to an exceptional bank.

Not satisfied. The app looks old. The option to auto fill never seems to work. Everytime I have to log in I have to change passwords to do so. Honestly it seems they just got the easiest,simplest and cheapest design for the app, with no interest in upgrading format...

So I had the issue of the password/ID not working and my account getting locked and having to reset it 3 times... went in and it turns out someone was trying to get into my account through my IP. To people having this issue of their passwords and IDs getting reset, you may want to go to the bank and ask someone to see if that's what going on. Alot less annoyed knowing my account locks were happening for security reasons.

Used to work for Glacier Bank so I know from experience that this app works for some but not others. People often came in trying to get the app to work, if they got it to work, it didn't work long and for some it just never worked even if you take all the necessary steps. My best guess is it works for iPhone users but not Samsung users but that's just a guess.

Forbidden?? Over the last few weeks, the app has been throwing the "forbidden" error upon startup. It's usually corrected or fixed by someone hours later or later the next day. It's becoming almost unusable as the stability of the app is not good. Anybody have any ideas? I did the usual troubleshooting steps of clearing the cache and data within the app...but nada. Help?

Installed v4.57.5 on Samsung G20 Android 12. When I first tried to open app got a FORBIDDEN screen. Tried reinstalling, setting permissions, cycling phone; nothing worked. Then the aha moment. App uses mobile data; not the internet. Switched to 4G network and fully functional. Many issues raised in the reviews may be related to network connectivity. This may be particularly true for those of us that live on the side of a mountain in Montana and are lucky if we get one bar with our carrier.

Mobile deposit works maybe half of the time, I have difficulties accessing my account often as well. EDIT: I was contacted by the bank, and the issue was resolved for approximately ~6 months, after the new update, mobile deposit is crashing again. I rely on that to deposit my checks, so this is a real inconvenience.

Continues to have problems. When I set it up I was in a bit of a hurry and skipped setting up the fingerprint scanner. Huge mistake. If you think you can set it up later, no such luck. I've spent hours on the phone & in the branch offices, uninstall, reinstalled, and no real help.

04/25/2022: STILL NOT WORKING! Mobile deposit continues not to work and there has been very little/no communication to assist in fixing this issue! Over 2 months! 02/24/2022 UPDATE! NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT AND THE APP STILL HAS THE SAME PROBLEM!! WILL BE LOOKING TO MOVE MY ACCOUNTS TO ANOTHER INSTITUTION TOMORROW! 2 hours of my time to deposit 5 checks...no thanks! Still no fix for the deposit option. I simply can not spend 10 to 15 minutes per check deposit. This needs attention pretty quickly.

I loved it when it first came out it was super great, but over the last few months it wont log me in. Or says its offline. I need to be able to have access to my accounts, to transfer funds etc, while banks are closed. An I cant even get into it! Super frustrating

Very annoying login experience went to the bank and they gave me some funky code to put in there instead of a regular login name and password like what a regular normal person could remember then to top it off when you send them an email you will get a response with an email address that you cannot reply to as far as online banking experience goes this is the worst... To top it off it's been like this for years!!! Now go ahead and put in your copy and paste response cuz you're lazy.

This app hasn't been updated in quite some time. That being said, consistent crashes, remote deposit no longer works (will not take pictures) if you prefer us to use this app, I would appreciate a better interface.
