Glint Finder - Camera Detector

Glint Finder uses the same principle as the tools used by professionals to help search for and find the lens glint given off by hidden spy camera optics.
- Set the device's flash rate in cycles per second (Hz).
- Adjust device's flash duty cycle.
- Toggle the image polarity to help highlight glints.The lens optics of hidden cameras produce specular reflection when illuminated with a flash. These retro-reflections show up as highlights or hotspots in the image that stand out as the flash toggles on and off. These are tell-tales used by skilled operators to sweep meeting areas and indoor rooms for hidden cameras.
Note: the flash rate and duty cycle capability will depend on your particular device's capability.

You need to update the application! The moment I opnen it shows "the app was built for an older version of Android, it may not work properly" and it doesn't. There are no options to adjust Hz or anything, only the camera flash keeps buzzing. Please update it!
SCAM - Literally does nothing useful. Couldn't find any of my 6 cameras from 4 different manufacturers. Couldn't tell a camera lens from a can of soup. After reading many other reviews I believe this app is a scam to harvest personal information and display ads, especially on their website. Why else does it need to know what other apps you have installed?
Upon opening got message stating made for older version (cell), check for update. I did....last update was 2013?!?! That was 9 years ago!!! The developer seriously needs get with the times!!
I've decompiled the APK package and studied the app function coding thoroughly. This app does exactly what it claims to do -- period. People on here claiming otherwise are either too dumb to use the app, or jerks -- perhaps both. I also put this app to the test using three different brands of spycam-type setups. This app detected all three with no problem. Don't blame the dev if you're too dumb to use a simple app.
Could use zoom. Sometimes, it goes to just a strobe light. Blacklight would be pretty cool. Great app, but I don't understand why it needs all these permissions
No wonder it's free... Doesn't work. Says it's only compatible with older versions of phone software and crashes.
There should be instructions when opening the app. The app does work. The problem is you have to go to about app in the Google store to see how it works. Or sit for a B rated video. The video has great advice. The app just needs instructions for us dummies.
This app is confusing & slightly hard to comprehend. Include tutorial links, give examples using the app, Also, be thorough on settings, features, & give instructions thoroughly.
It seems as though the developer has abandoned this app so it does not work with " newer versions" of Android. Does not work on Android developed after 2013!
Im must not be doing something correctly..doesnt seem to work for me but it IS doing somthing..maybe if you practise using it enough it will become an effective means of detecting devices by the glare the lense reflects..not really my goto app for this sort of thing
Error message every time I try to open the app. Apparently this app will only work with older versions of Android.
App won't even open it doesn't work. I bet most people have the same problem... I'm sure it sure has gotten all my info it could and sold it lol I report and spam you probably should as well
Couldn't highlight the cameras I knew were there, so I don't fancy it's chances with the ones I don't know about. Solid principle perhaps but less than stellar execution.
Good, but I am pretty sure I almost died when I accidentally turned it on in the dark. 🤣 I forgot what the app did. 4 stars because it was missing directions
DO NOT USE WHEN TRYING TO DISPLAY STEALTHY SEARCHING!!! This app is outdated and no longer WORKS! Camera flash rapidly flashes and got an error message
Dont waste your time. Its looking at everything around you hoping it will catch a glint of the optics. Real hi-tech. UNINSTALLING ASAP

I pointed it directly at an actual camera and it didn't do anything or recognize it.
I love this app! Not only can you see the cameras better but it does give off an amazing light show@!!
IF U USE YOUR BRAIN YOU WILL KNOW THE APP DOES WORK It flashes really fast when it detects a camera and flashes slow when it doesnt
nothing stands out a lot of flashing looks like an apparent x-ray but identifies nothing special even when aming right at a powered cctv camera

How are we supposed to know how to really use the app. And what the camera lens or device suppose to look like through the app? After I Uninstaller this app cuz it says its unsafe. My number showed up on the dark web.
Pointed at 3 known cameras. On or off, this app didn't detect / reveal anything.

App work fine. I have no idea how to use it? Settings are Good taping screen switch mode and three dots right for adjustment of flashlight flickering. Need instructions how to operate each mode from tapping screen on the android cellphone? Trying find ir illuminator for security cameras. That's pointed directly at my security cameras. Someone help how work mode settings ? What's flickering of the flashlight how does that work? Take pictures from app, only suggestion. Thank you
