Glitcho - Glitch Video & Photo Editor

Ran into numerous issues with video. Tap and hold to apply effects doesn't work properly as. It constantly stops on it own even though I'm still holding down to apply the effect. When a video I'm applying an effect to reaches its end, the app automatically begins processing the video and this always causes video to fail. I'll get a spinning load wheel and the video never processes. Some effects cause videos to be unable to be processed/exported. Kept having corrupt video files that won't play.

paid for premium because $5 is fair for the amount of time saved from just the channel curves. turns out that the other effect layers are also rad. there's a lot of options to choose from and you can tweak nearly all of them to some degree. buuuuttt here's what i don't like: (on android 10) error message occurs when live loading from camera, pic>>GIF doesn't bookmark, so it's just an extra photo editor really, limited functionality of videocamera and only able to capture in 16:9 or 4:3. 3⭐

I love this app! Awesome glitches and effects. What I like the most is prior to me purchasing all of them, if I wanted to use one glitch that happened to be locked, I was presented with two options: purchase it or watch an ad in order to use it, which in my opinion is rather unique/beneficial for obvious reasons . Other app developers out there should definitely consider providing the same (or similar) options for their users.

As soon as I got this app, I brought the pro version. This app is the best video editing effects app that I've found but I can't use it!!! This app has the ability to assist you in creating some very original and unique videos BUT once they are exported, the resolution is so low, I can't even post them on Instagram. I've changed my settings to save in the highest res but that doesn't seem to matter. Am I doing something wrong??

It's a little difficult to get a hang of, but once you do, it runs very smoothly. the only time I get ads is when I'm saving the video and it pops up with the processing notice. loved the experience. I looked for a long time, to find an app that I can put effects into, and this is the beat one I found so far. Thank you.

Brilliant so many effects to choose from! There are a lot of Pro effects that are amazing and you have to upgrade the app for about £4 one-off which imo is cheap compared to other apps which have less options and charge monthly, or you can watch an ad instead which is a great option as you can still save a photo with a Pro effect on and you haven't even spent anything except 30sec of your time! Just brilliant!

You can get some awesome, album-art-worthy results with this thing. It's well worth paying for. I've bought add-ons for Photoshop that produce ONE "glitch" effect, while this app has so many that you could experiment for days. And they're high-quality, too. You really get the sense that the developers put a lot of time into making this app.

This really is an excellent app. Very smooth interface allows you to make sharp, exciting cuts between effects. Not only are there plenty of effects to choose from, most of them have adjustable parameters: this results in near infinite creative potential. Well worth the one off charge.

I Used to like the app..But after a few months it is messing up badly. I try to edit a intro I made it just goes black and I mean the whole thing black can't see anything and when I try to save it, It just controls itself like I can't press save and the video is just in full speed replaying itself! It's not my phone that's the problem. I Unstained the app to see if it would work again but no it does the same thing this is madness. Please fix it..From now on I will have this app removed.

The developers of this app have really sorted all the bugs out now. I have the payed version again, and I give 5 stars because I have tried a lot of other glitch video apps, but this app is by far the best, because it has a lot more options than other apps, it is very user friendly and can export video in very good quality high definition.

good editing tools, powerful and many options, but absolutely horrid intrusive ad popups, that are linked to a "watch to avoid ads" style video, that you cant help but click on, as its placed in the UI where the editing features are so where users click anyway, making it it easy to accidentally click yes to autoplay a video ad... which is good for them ad wise, but inconsiderate UX experience design. Every time you click the video or the thing pops up you lose your progress editing.

This is the best glitch app ive found. Love the recent update with the new saving features. The only problem is - Whenever l save a project on my S8 note or S7, there's a small 'stutter' ' in the video in the first 5 seconds. Its literally everytime. I started to put some blank frames at the start as a work around.

I tried editing a video with it, it's confusing. I had to redo it 5 times. And when I finally got it right, apparently it decided to not work. I couldn't play the video, it was just a black screen that said "can't play video." I would still use it, but my experience with it has been quite bad.

... theres no option to playback video or anything u have to start again before u rewind. (update in response to email) thanks for hearing me out. another feature is when u are manually pressing and holding, there is a delay between the effect of about half a second. I want it to be precisely when I press because of the purpose I intend to use ur app! if that's possible I will rate 5 stars and add your app under my videos :) thank u.

What would I do without Glitcho? I cannot imagine losing the amazing expressions I am able to reflect with this amazing app. You have truly considered so many key things to make this app very enjoyable, simple, and sophisticated at the same time. Thank you. Please remain and do not change too much over time. Endless stars....

This app has great glitch effects and is very useful though i have a few problems 1: when I finalise the video it is very dark and it did not show this in the example of the effect. 2: the audio is behind the video when i put the effect on But overall its a great app and useful :)

This app is so fun! It has so many unique glitches! Thank you so much I appreciate how much there is. The possibilities are endless. I will be keeping this app permanently. My only wish is to be able to zoom in on the picture before selecting apply maybe I missed something though. Thanks again.

Great fun, took a while to work out the kinks, turns out you can mess around by tapping and dragging to find a whole variety of different colours within each glitche and effect. Might upgrade as those locked Glitches and effects loik kinda tasty. Wouldn't hesitate to upgrade if a load more effects became available.

Out of the handful of glitch apps Ive downloaded this one's taking the lead on layout, options[free] and glitches [as in app issues] so far no complaints. The only thing I could suggest is adding a clear undo* icon for the less app/tech savvy downloaders. Users reading this review, undo* options are doable you just gotta pay attention to your clicks as you work your edits. Here's a tip, save after every and any edit before moving onto the next. Tedious but def worth it. Thanks DEVs app is epic.

pretty good, but too many options are blocked by needing to pay for them. You can still use them by watching an ad at least, but it still seems like far too many require it. Otherwise, great app, I definitely reccomend it.

I've been looking high and low for an app like this and when I came to use the effects, I was amazed. They're so cool! The only problem is that when it says it's processing for a video, it's so slow and doesn't get anywhere! Please fix this because what's the point of using the effects if they can't be saved? I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem.

Updated- Developer hasn't replied to anything, still can't export gifs, video has no audio. Super discouraging. Have noticed the photo+gif has stopped working for me. App hasn't been updated despite complaints regarding photo+gif, so I think it's been abandoned. Normal photos work however, so not useless.

Okay so, update to my last review (1 star) the app wouldn't save or export GIF's on my newer Huawei P30 Pro HOWEVER it did export and save correctly on my older Huawei Mediapad M3. So it seems to sometimes work depending on your device and/or android version. When it works, it's brilliant, but only a 3 star update because it won't work on newer hardware and software.

Great glitchy effects, no watermark, 5 stars. There are a lot of pro effects but you can use them by watching an ad, a little annoying, but this is truly one of the best apps out there for glitch effects.

Great app but some videos won't save due to some "video codec" issue. not to sure what the issue is, other videos have saved perfectly fine. would love to give a 5 star but until I can save all effects with any video the best I can do is 3

Having used this app more to try and make decent gifs and videos for my music I have realised that its completely useless. Half the time my gif won't export or save. When you edit videos it removes the sound so you can't make glitches to a beat like other editors. The effects don't stack up. You can't have more than one effect at once. The app itself is extremely glitchy when editing videos. They stole my money basically. Do not buy this app!

Updare ruined the menu. Instead of having a picture to see the effect before I use it, I have to go through the awkward menu, pressing each to see what it does. Just bring back the old menu, it looks like the app has had a hefty downgrade.

I love this app I use it so many times but the only problem is sometimes it won't save so I have to redo it but that doesn't happen normally and there's not really any ads so I really enjoy this app I suggest getting it you can also make some great intros just make a small boring intro and spice it up glitch show is amazing!💗💗💗
