Won't be good because Bosch has decided to end this app. I won't be buying Bosch again. But app is great

So if this app is no longer the one to use, why is it still here and what is the new app? Also, why does the video at the top of this page take me to a video about a saw???

Every few days an update, should have never released app till bugs out. Devices poorly thought through also cant even divide measurements in half when #1 thing you need to find is center.

DO NOT USE THE NEW APP, I lost ALL my measurement data. I was prompted to a new app which will replace this app. It was a shock to find out I lost all my measurment data on the phone after importing the existing data from the old app. Even the old app lost all the data. The developer should be fired.

Lost ALL of my data when installing the new app! I hate you Bosch!

Needs a backup of data option. Sync to Dropbox as a bonus.

I've had many technical issue with the app. I've been promised many times by Bosch (Via email and phone) that it would be fixed. But to no avail. I would not recommend this app, although it originally looked good.

Beyond awful. When using the built in calculator to work with measurements taken the result is always in meters even if the measurements you're working with are in English units of measurements. The calculator should permit user to select unit of measurement for results. Projects... Once you create a project there's no way to delete it. I guess you're​ just supposed to collect these in perpetuity? The FAQs come up in computer code (HTML).Totally unintuitive.

Useful tool with a few major problems so far. 1. While exporting it often stuck on loading "creating image file" 2.where is an option to rename photo file? 3.how to set size of text in exported file? It's too small Thanks, Peter

Is this app just for glm 100 c ?

Very good app. sometimes difficult to connect via bluetooth; recent patch seems to solved it. **I noticed a comment that - it was "stuck" on export. I had same issue >> found out, that my cache were deleted (by cache cleaner)-- therefore causing the stuck issues. Wished that add a delete option for the photos I no longer want. Looking forward to next improvements. Thank u.

Works really well, seems smoother than the iPhone version too. Bluetooth pairs easily. Only issue is that the continuous measurement mode on my GLM100C doesn't seem to work in the app. The numbers only update when I tap the laser button on the app, but are updated continuously on the device.

Question not review can igmore and the rating but 5 cus Bosch is German. Q: do I need a device apart from the phone I'm using! Android version 6 at least. And do you know the best way to get a table or area for a drone or quadrocopter which is absolutely level without a water bubble scale thing ( you need to set it up like that then turn it on x y and z axis a bit imperfect by hand). Btw I noticed that when I found a absolutely flat surface( I had to check all surfaces in the house and use glass plate with a towel using a bubble level and then the drone really hovers so stable and a flat surface is usually not flat enough unless you measure and change it. It's worth it for hobby pilots (DJI phantom, bebop 2, magic, yuneec etc.)

a measurement on a photo can often use some clarification, like "from finished floor to framing," or "from subfloor to sheetrock." The app seems only to allow measurements to be named (this would be the best place to attach a specifier to the measurement) if the measurement is input manually... but the numeric keypad doesn't allow use of ', or ". Sooo.... I can't name measurements because there also isn't a way to edit the name of an existing (recorded via Bluetooth connection) measurement.

This app promises to be what I have been looking for seemingly forever, semi-automated paperless measurement. The app records measurements semi-automatically, and for this reason alone it is worth four stars. But it is not intuitive to use. It feels awkward like it's core codebase is rooted in a previous era. Even the app name features a bizarre lack of sentence case and proper spacing. But until a moreeffective alternative becomes available, this app will suffice.

Good. Is there any possibility to share with own app through API or service. We Have big project for property assessment which needs to calculate carpet area using your device.

Can this be done. As of now, it can only be shared via Telegram and the receiver complained that it can't be viewed.

When I select volume measures, it inputs a different number into the calc screen. For example I have a volume of 349.372ft^3 but I click it and get a 9.8something down below.

No match for a paper. Making bluetooth feature a waste of money. The shared docs font is tiny, can't label measurements a-posteriori. Sloppy

My GLM 50 C keep crashing when I want to access the device setting or control it remotely from this app.

When exporting files in pdf the measurements are small on the paper very hard to read. A font settings would be great. A printing option from phone wold be nice as well.

Good app but the calculator seems to only work in meter no matter what units you put in the settings. Also, would be nice to be able to name measurements as you take them.

When trying to send the project via email, it shows an error that the file was not decoded properly. Any help?

No complaints. But where is the floor plan app on the Google store? It is not showing up. I did find it through Apple. But I would like it for my Android too.

Good app but disappointed that the floor plan app is not available for Android. I bought a GLM50 due to the advert listing the use of the floor plan app. Considering returning the unit. How long until the app is available on android?
