Global Shark Tracker

This is such a great idea, being able to learn about individual sharks instead of just species, you get to see their route and alittle info about them but for some reason it crashes all the time and just won't load screens. When and if this gets fixed I will give it the 5 stars it's due

Nice concept, too bad it doesn't work. Basically if you try to do ANYTHING on it, the app just freezes up. I like the idea and it would be neat if they could get it working. Unfortunately looking through other reviews, this has been a common ongoing problem for awhile now. Too bad.

I downloaded the app when it first came out. Once you learn how to use it, it is great. I removed out b/c I live in central Pennsylvania. I just put it back on my phone because I have two beach trips planned to two different states. I can't wait to use it on the Atlantic coast this summer and then late fall.

This is amazing and has huge potential to be a great app with lots of info and fun. But it does require updates a plenty. The search engine doesn't work, it crashed within the first minute, and no movement is registered no matter how often I check. I would love this if it worked properly

Used to be a fun app, then they found a way to ruin it. It locks up & is unusable. There used to be a list of named sharks, now it requires you to search for a name, but locks up before you can type anything & the only way out is to restart the phone Uninstaller only deletes icon & leaves a bucket of crap behind.

If you learn how to use the app it works. Mary Lee pinged off my coast just yesterday afternoon. You have to refresh the feed. Again I can't stress enough to learn how to use the app. This app works just fine and I have a samsung galaxy 5. 5 stars because it works but also because it's a great app. I love great whites. I love knowing when they have come to my waters.

I really like the app. The only thing that is killing it is the fact that it keeps freezing up and shutting down right after the freeze up. It shouldn't be my phone I've got an LG V10 with the the latest software out there. So please fix it, it looks to be a great app.

I was so excited when I saw this app but all it has done is shown me one shark's path. The rest of the time it won't load anything or it just shuts down. So disappointed:(

Doesn't play nice. I downloaded that app a while ago and uninstalled it again after I realized that it freezes way too often. Sadly I had to go through the same process again. I do love the concept though. I follow the shark programs on TV and was thrilled to learn that you can follow the sharks they tag. But as long as they don't fix the bugs there is just no way. Loads of potential, please fix it.

I could give it LESS THAN 1 STAR I WOULD!!! It Freezes up immediately upon clicking shark button.NONE of the other buttons work. Tried to refresh but the app just loads and loads and loads nothing ever happens. Then it becomes unresponsive. Im tired of reporting it. Shows most recent ping as Feb. Pretty USELESS APP.

I can't get the app to run smoothly on either my phone or my tablet. It freezes and force-closes immediately after opening half the time, and the other half it just locks up when I click on any of the locator points.

Thought I'd give this a go having received a credible report of a tagged shark off the coast at a beach 1 mile from my home. App shows no sharks anywhere within a 1000km radius. Then the App froze within a minute of using it. Uninstalling...

This app dies NOT work at all. It freezes immediately upon launch and will not respond to anything. Constantly telling me to hit refresh is useless advice. The only way out is to force stop. Would give zero stars if I could

Freezes 24/7, doesn't even show the path of the sharks just zooms out and app says latest shark pinged on February 1 yet on the website there are sharks that pinged this month.

It froze a bit at first but now works awesome. I REALLY wish you could select favorite sharks though and not have to keep going to their profiles & stuff just have a favorites list lol

Owners of this app can do way better, this is not real time at all. App freezes, shows sharks path dated months ago...get with the programme or delete this app. Lifeguards in Cape Town rely on any info on tagged sharks. Ocearch come to our shores, drop chum, tagged their sharks and you guys can't get this app working...bleehhh

Frozen. Love Mary Lee Cisco and Kathryn but all sharks are blue and the dates are not current. I know Mary Lee is in NJ right now but this app is telling me nothing. A year ago, I checked for the two females every morning and many times a day. Please fix this.

The only things that work are settings, the home menu, and I can go to a sharks profile through the map. Everything else freezes the app.

This used to be an ok program, but it crashes all the time, especially when trying to look up shark profiles. Please fix

Neat concept and I think it would be totally necessary, but the coding of the app could use some work. I can open it fine and look at the world map of sharks but as soon as I click on one of the dots; my phone freezes.

I was hoping this would work because the website is hard to use on my Galaxy but it doesn't seem to update for me.
