The emergence of regular Freemasonry in the State of Roraima occurred with the foundation, on September 9, 1940, of the Augusta and Respectable Symbolic Shop Liberdade e Progresso n ° 32, then Jurisdiction of the Grand Masonic Lodge of the State of Amazonas and neighboring Territories. From then on, another 02 (two) Shops were founded, on 13 May in Caracaraí and today ARGBLS Sílvio Lofego Botelho nº 03 and on August 20, 1981, 55 Brothers met in the Temple of the Loja Liberdade e Progresso No. 32, located at Rua Coronel Pinto nº 396, Centro Boa Vista-RR, and through Decree No. 0032/80/83 of May 14, 1981, issued by the Grand Lodge Mason of the State of Amazonas to found the Grand Masonic Lodge of Roraima 20/08/1981. AM∴ R∴ The Grand Masonic Lodge of Roraima has today, distributed throughout the State of Roraima, 13 (thirteen) Symbolic Stores, four Masonic triangles, and is sponsor of two subsidiary entities, the DeMolay International Order and the International Order of Daughters of Job.
