Absolutely worth the download, and I bought the no ads for support. Makes the game considerably more streamlined and manageable on the table. My only regret is you can't reset a map. We make a random one, lose and in order to reset the cards we have to rebuild it all. Still amazing work, thanks to the developers!!

I just cracked open my very first copy of JotL, and already 3 scenarios in I find myself getting confused by the sheer amount of physical objects to handle and change and end up mixing up mechanics. This app would be a perfect aid, unfortunately the the default UI zoom is unreadably tiny on my pitifully small phone.

I've absolutely loved this app, I'm sad you've had to cancel it soon, but props to the effort you've put in. My friends and I have used it for the original gloomhaven and JOTL, and it's always been a flawless experience.

This app is an absolute must when playing Gloomhaven. It's intuitive, full-featured, and beautiful. Recently, it has started to display ads. It's infrequent and I'm happy to be able to support the developer(s?), but I'd love to be able pay for an adless version to both support the developer and maintain immersion. Thank you for making this!

This app works as advertised, streamlines a lot of the minutiae, but I'd love it if you could tell the app which characters you've unlocked so you can't spoil a character with a misclick while setting up a scenario. It already happened once, because my friend forgot what symbol I was. He knew what the character was called, but for spoiler reasons, the names are not listed in the selection menu. Otherwise, I greatly appreciate this app.

This is a very helpful app that makes your game faster and more enjoyable by eliminating much card handling and administration, letting you focus on tactics. However, I wish it also provided a way to mark which monsters of the same type have taken their turn! That is sometimes hard to remember if you're tired or there are lots of monsters on the board.

This has been an amazing help. Most of what I did when playing GH with my family was stuff this app handles. Keep initiative tracked? Check. Remind us about statuses and shields? Check. Auto remove status effects? Check, although I think you have to turn that one on. It's saved us a lot of time with setup, and helps immensely if you run out of damage tokens. It would be even better if this had the ability to add custom content to it.

This app deserves 7.6 out of 5 stars as it smartly simplifies away most of the cardboard fumbling and accounting required to play Gloomhaven, without actually interfering with the game play. There are a few things I'd like to see: - smarter multi-client sync, at least a warning when my change has been thrown away because another change overrode it (happens a few times an hour with 4 players, small annoyance compared to just about anything we'd done physically to coordinate) - easy access to the scenario descriptions. I have to open another app. - better regression testing (there was a period of time when updates between clients could take 30 seconds or more) I'm quite happy with the app as it is, happier than I have any right to expect for a free app.

This app takes all of the tedium of finding tokens and managing all of the hundreds of little details and streamlines it so everyone can take their turns quickly to get on with the action. turn durations were cut in half after we mastered how to use all of the apps functions. the ability to sync across many devices is amazing as everyone can now look at the status of the board on their own device and or having it on the big screen at any given moment. If you play gloomhaven you NEED this app.

Best and most important app for Gloomhaven, ever. I know they designed Gloomhaven so that it would be technology independent. But honestly, with everything it has going on, going without tech is like trying to go upstream without a paddle. You will take so much more time! I've had scenarios last 3-4 hours while using the app. I don't think I'd have time to finish a single game if I had to do all the lookups myself, or shuffle and draw all the monster cards, or put all the status tokens out, etc.

Incredible app, we've been using it for every game since starting playing gloomhaven. This update is incredibly unstable. Crashed repeatedly on multiple devices tonight. The final straw being when it crashed and lost all the data about our current scenario. Super bummer. I don't know what changed, aside from the ad integration, but I hope it stabilizes soon.

GH was great... until this week. they've added some horribly intrusive adverts, which pretty much force you to either pay the price, or stop using the software. I guess I'll go with the latter. I understand that they want to make money, I have no problem with that. but don't pretend it's free when ads are so intrusive that they don't leave any real choice. Edit in response: You'll note I did say in my original review that I understand you want to make money, and I have no problem with that. As to your question, both really. The banner adverts are constantly shifting and changing. Given that the screen is in view the whole time whilst I'm playing, it's rather distracting. The end of round ones wouldn't be quite so bad, except the close icon is so tiny that if you're a mm or so out when trying to click the x you accidentally go to the advertisers site instead, so the link opens when you are just trying to start another round. Nowehere did I suggest that it was free to create this app.

This is the premier Gloomhaven app available right now! When you and your team download the app, it will automatically work the enemy initiative into each turn and also factor any enemy card strength or weakness. It saves so much time in setup and break down and just lets you play more. Plus, the developer has every scenario covered for the enemies you'll be facing, so all you need to do is place them in the dungeon and make the moves. Remove the ads to support the awesome developers!

This app is by far one of the best time saves for this game, it chucks so much setup out the window that it generally gives us time to play an extra scenario each time we meet. my only problem with it is that we have forgotten circles and if we want to use her we will have to stop using the app for a bit as she manipulates monster decks and modifier decks (and the one we usually want to modify is the enemy one). are there any plans for supporting her?

we love this app and greatly help us yo play more time. however, there is a problem about conditions. Conditions like stun, immobilize, etc. state to remove at the END of Next turn. but after pressing next round, it automatically been removed. secondly, the ability cards might have a shuffle button when 2x and miss comes out. But overall, it is a great help!

This is great! Some thing I'd love to see added is... -- The ability to lock most functions to one player (or the server machine) so that all other players had a more simplified interface just for inputting their initiative number and other character traits. Not all players are tech saavy and the buttons are quire small on phones and the content is quite dense. It tends to confuse some players, I've found. -- Larger buttons / interface elements.

Very intuitive interface, with many functions accounted for. It has plenty of options to fit the user, such as optional stat hiding, stat calculation, and name hiding for locked classes. Network sync update is instant, and obscured initiative is a great idea. Overall, this app does what you would hope it would do without issue, and really streamlines the setup and turn maintenance process for scenarios. Extremely well thought-out.

This app works great! It saves table space and shuffling time, card sleeves, etc. I am glad I found it. Note to the developer... it would be awesome if we could enter item numbers for each character and display items, tap to spend/expend. That would help get those item cards out of the way as well. Just a thought. Otherwise great app!
