Glympse Express
Open Glympse Express and simply select the app in which you wish to share location. Glympse Express creates a link to your live map and opens the app you selected so you can paste it into the appropriate conversation. Share via WhatsApp, Google Hangouts, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Line, Tango and more.
Prefer to send via SMS or email message? Glympse Express has you covered there as well. Select a contact from your address book and Glympse Express creates a shortcut enabling you to send to that contact in the future with just a single tap.
Recipients receive a link allowing them to view your location in real-time for the length of time you choose. When the timer on your Glympse expires, your location is no longer visible. Best of all, recipients do not need the Glympse app or any special software to view your live map.

Normally love this app better than the normal one, as it works a 1000X BETTER than the Original one.... Today need to uninstall and reinstall it. Just keeps saying that it's creating a link .....for the past 2 hours
Awesome. One of the most useful apps on my phone. Should be an "editors choice" !!
I've used it for several years but lately it just stops or shuts down.
Doesn't allow permanent sharing, which is a very odd limitation.

Glympse seriously rocks and Glympse Express improves on it in a big way. It narrows down the share options to the ones used most frequently and makes sharing a whole lot speedier. I appreciate the 4-hour time limit and the fact that it auto expires but I would love to see an option that allowed for a timeframe longer than 4 hours. My bank and servers and all sorts of sessions have an auto-logoff warning that you need to confirm. Maybe every hour a prompt to keep the Glympse open and going? But, yeah, one of my most-used and favorite apps for sure.
For those of you who have never tried this app, you need to give it a shot try this one before you try the other one if you like it which I'm almost positive you will especially if you know somebody who wants to know travel time and is persistent about knowing where you're at in your travels. If you were a worried parent this app is essential ! If you know other worried concerned or just parents who want to ensure or check whether child is located then this is the app for them, data must be on to work.
Very usefull app.The expire time has to be increased from 8 to 12 hours and why there's no update for a long time to such a nice app. Need to make it more perfect
Downloaded and after a few minutes its customized and easily figured out. Fills a simple need for those with phones with different OS's.
Installed this because the main glimpse application needs a ridiculous number of invasive privileges. Adopt the new privilege modem of android 7...
App used to work great. . Now the shared link is no longer valid or has expired
Doea not send SMS msgs anymore. I triend on two different phones (both Samsung). Makesnit useless. I checked permissions and they are all enabled.
Pros: straightforward and intuitive UI. Does the job. BIG CONS: it keeps my gps open for long time, and drain my battery.
Cuts communication down and helps manage expectations most efficiently in tense situations. This adds years to life.
Love this app. I use it every time I go to meet with someone, provided I am plugged into a charger. Does everything it says easily and quickly, and have had no trouble with reliability.
Excellent app. I sent message to support with some feedback, biggest two feature requests I have is a widget to allow one-tap glympse send to a phone contact (instead of having to open app first), and ability to add a whatsapp contact shortcut like you can with phone /email contacts.
Love this app for what it does, but would absolutely love the ability to request a Glympse from someone else, also fix it so "expiring" a Glympse is fast and easy, I hate the dial implementation when I'm driving, and just in general. As a side note, you really ought to start targeting Android P API as Glympse is coming up on being 4 years old - written and implemented for Android Gingerbread!
Works Great, but doesn't allow to open full version of app recognizing the Glympse that's already active. Even opening full app from express version, full app should open active Glympse created in express app.
This would be just perfect if it supported sharing to a Telegram contact. For most situations the UI would be all I need but I have to stick using the cumbersome full Glympse app as it supports Telegram which most of my friends use.
This is a brilliantly useful app. I live a long way from my loved ones and this let's them know I am safe and well at home or on a journey. This works in reverse too.
You just want to share your trip. That's it. Start it, select timer and share. I love the full version app but this one is just made my life much easier.
Quick version if the excellent Glympse, but let down by not being able to add new messaging apps such as Telegram or Wickr. If your app's not there, then Glympse Express is useless for you.
