Review that really sticksAcademic research has found that memories are formed by repeated exposure to new information, so Magoosh’s flashcard app uses a spaced repetition system. Concepts you are learning will reappear frequently (occurring less frequently the better you know them) and concepts you already know won’t be repeated. The GMAT list is also culled to only 425 so that you don't waste time learning unimportant words.

while the app itself is a wonderful too, unfortunately the implementation lacks quality. several pages do not load completely, sometimes the questions do not appear other times the response does not appear. sometimes the only thing i see are the two decision buttons. could be improved but at this time it's not a good experience for me.
I am preparing for the GRE and this app was suggested. It has really helped me solidify the formulas and concepts I understood but kept forgetting. Its been a REALLY LONG time since I took any math classes so this has been very helpful. It won't teach you, but if you have a fair understanding it WILL help you remember key concepts and formulas.
Hi Team, The app is great but there is a bug in the App I keep getting blank cards . I have tried reinstalling and installing it never made a difference. Would be grateful if you could fix that. Otherwise loving it!
It's a great little app -- good for reminding yourself of key principles, less for working through problems. It would be great to flip the card over again, or, perhaps repeat the diagram on the verso so that you can clearly understand what's being explained.
I was all set to buy a Magoosh plan, was following their study guide for day one which is download the Flashcard app. Amazingly, many of the cards are incomplete or blank. Looking at the review history, it seems it's not been fixed for a long time. Not the best first impression...
Many cards are blank on one or both sides. Some don't flip. Card completion metrics reset every time I close and reopen the app so I lose progress (even when logged in). Not a helpful study tool at all.
Great app. I'm cautios when it comes to 3rd party apps. Been using one or another Magoosh apps for years. No nagging ads, lags, glitches, or unreasonable permissions, not ever, not even one. Really, Ive come to trust is this maker and kinda feel guilty bc its all been free of charge and ads annoyance. Refreshing, rare, useful, well done: Many thanks, Magoosh! And now, bit by bit, at long last, it's as if I'm making up some of those math classes I slept through in high school- & enjoying it!
I think this app helps with mental math a lot. The only feature I'd improve is providing even just two options to choose from on the face of each card before it flips over to show the correct answer and rationale
Condensing the principles into short questions and memorizing them is really helpful. Some of the questions show up as blank on the android app which means I'm missing important information that I will never really be able to see unless it's fixed.
Great resource for reviewing concepts. I just downloaded the app and I'm loving it. The only issue is that it shows some blank cards sometimes the answers or the questions.
A lot of answers are not showing, some cards can't be flipped. It's a major bug that needs to be addressed, but its been several months now without any fix.
Many flashcards are glitched and do not show any information. This occurs maybe 10% of the time. That fail rate impedes with the utility the app can provide.
Full with bugs. Problems don't appear. Most disappointing fact is progress erases after closing the app. But developer deserves some respect for trying to help students.
It's easy to use and is great to remind yourself of math concepts you might have forgotten. I just hope it won't keep asking me the same questions more than 5x (when I don't know the answer the first time). =)
Love the premise, can be very helpful, but it's quite buggy at this time. At least 1/5 of the flashcards show blank answers or blank questions.
Its best app to review all your basic concepts. It will be helpful for you to revise all the basic mathematics. Recommended For those who didn't touched mathematics for years .
This app has been super valuable as I start preparing for the GMAT. It's easy to use, thorough, and quick. One of my best resources for refreshing on formulas and number rules so far!
The app has a good interface but a lot of cards don't show the text/image of the question or aswer so I simply can't use that to study.
repetition and review helpful but some explanations too vague. also, I don't like overuse of the phrase "elegant solution". come on.
The flashcards don't work 60% of the time. They just open blank. Very frustrating when trying to study.
It's a great way to review basic math principles. However, there appears to be a bug that makes some cards appear blank.
I like the website but i paid over $200 and every other flashcard on the app is blank on one or both sides. That's a little ridiculous. Using a Samsung S8+ on AT&T network. Please fix soon
Awesome app. Really helped me during my preparation for the GRE. Just a little suggestion: instead of the option " I knew this word" you should consider rewording it since the facts are not actually "words" like in the GRE vocab app.
Good app, simple and intuitive although it has a bug or somehting that doesn't allow to review some of the flashcards.
everything is good. The only problem is the app lags a lot and the flashcards doesnt show up on the display.
add an ability to answer the flashcard. possibly add advanced math for people specializing in math fields. very unimpressed overall.
The app has some issues, but they are solved when using a stable internet connection. It is a great way to review math concepts.
Every second flash card is blank along with its answers card. Loads of bugs, if removed will be an excellent one.
Very helpful when it comes to reviewing the basic foundation for Quant :) though, some flash cards don't seem to load properly... Otherwise, the app deserves 5 stars :)
I just downloaded this app and I think the concept is great. However, it has this bug that really frustrated me. I've experienced this error more than 5 times in the past few minutes. The app keeps showing me blank flashcards (either the question or the answer). I have the screenshot and I wish I can show it here.
